My strength had increased to Chunin when my physical stats hit 100, and I gained Taijutsu I and Kenjutsu I as skills. There had been no proper gains for it. Only a 100 SS for both. They represented the proper amount of skill a shinobi should have as a minimum. Which, by high system standards, was a fairly high mastery at the Chunin level. After all, it took me almost three years to gain them. Leader I was a passive skill with a simple description. Increases Loyalty over time. No reward. But I guess loyal subordinates and friends were a reward in themselves.
But more importantly, what I had been waiting for. The special Pane. Finally. I took a deep breath and clicked it.
It took me to a window with a new tree. Or maybe it represented the branch of the Tree of Life, as there was no ground. The branch, in turn, had 4 branches.

I had one slot. I was overjoyed. Finally. Something worth it. I choose Sharingan.

Huh, does that mean I have to kill 100 uchihas? And then I'll get one tomoe? What about its upgrades then? And even if I could kill 50 Uchihas, Will single tomoe even matter?
Negative, you will need to harvest relevant organs. That is 50 sets of eyes. But the host can also choose to use a call token as a substitute for fragments. As for the upgrade, once the host deploys a genkai. It becomes a part of you. Your Sharingan will function and be empowered like any other Sharingan. No fragment collection required. Except if the host bypasses physique and tries to evolve it to eternal Magekyo sharingan, without the sage physique.
That means I could get the Legendary Sharingan without turning into Danzo 2.0 or Orochimaru 2.0. I almost used the token then and there. Coupled with the fact that once my physique grows, it will automatically help evolve the Sharingan without fragments, as the system stated. I was over the moon now. But I paused. Patience Ren. Let's at least see the summon tab.
The Summon tab had several options.
Note- Summons and summon clans can only be those that already exist. The system will guide you and provide resources on the path that can get your name signed in the chosen scroll as soon as possible, with the least amount of setbacks.
So basically, quests to gain summons. I looked over the list. There were three tabs.
Man to Man
There were various ninja beasts in this section, from Rain Hawks and Ninken costing a few hundred SS to Dragons. Although the most awesome ones had a locked status. I was too weak. And the ones I could sign didn't impress.
Man to Clan
These had entries like Mount Myōboku, Ryucchi cave, and Shikkotsu Forest. There were some other minor clans, too.
Just so you know, all had different variants. 10000SS for 5-year completion. 100000SS for 1 signing in one year.
But since I could use the token, I was exploring.
That's when I realized something. Gaining a Kekkei Genkai would increase my power but also make me a target. Wasting the slot on some stupid weak one was not an option. And something like Sharingan, Byakugan, or Wood release was bound to draw attention. On the other hand. Gaining access to the summoning clan will immediately increase my power, while also providing resources and future opportunities. If I signed with the toads, won't I be able to easily get close to Jiraya? And by doing that, since Mount Myōboku only signed with honorable people. It will also serve as a character certificate.

Well, makes sense. Signing these was basically getting a low-level army with your own. Of course not, village level like the three great holy lands. But still. Something.
I scrolled down to find what I needed in the end. This was different. The option was time-bound. 4 days till the offer expires. The cost? The Call Card and the token plus 1000SS.
