A hand slapped the alarm clock on the bedside table to stop the alarm. The alarm did stop, however…
Crack!
A cracking sound echoed, making the sleeping young man's eyes snap open.
"Fuck no!" He groaned in frustration when he saw the plastic body of the clock was broken and the dial had stopped moving.
Rubbing his eyes, he sat up, then looked again, hoping it was just his illusion.
However…
It was still broken.
"Damn it! Now I will have to hear her nagging again!" He cursed under his breath.
After a moment, he got out of the bed, revealing his 5'7'' thin frame clad in just boxers, and walked out of the room to go to the washroom at the end of the hallway.
The rooms weren't big enough to have attached washrooms, so everyone on the first floor used this one.
