Roan leaped forwards as he heard Ren shouted. He managed to evade such predicament. After he rolled, his sweat trickled on his face and gulped saliva. It was not much but he felt the dread of being attacked in the back. He knew it, it was bloodlust that he has felt.
Having experienced it, he immediately panicked in his evasion and get out of the death's grasp. He nearly died!
With that, he immediately stood up and saw that the person has no life in his eyes. Devoid of expression and his stare was of a deathly hallows.
The rogue assassin then gripped his dagger and then attacked him. He blinked towards Ren and Ren was alarmed.
"Blink step? That is an advanced skill of rogues!" Ren shouted.
Roan could not handle him alone and so they has to help. But with Ren's condition, he might only be a drag or burden to him. Not with his asthmatic condition.
His enemy then attacked him and Roan readied for their clash.
Daggers were clanging and clashing. The two flickered so fast that they were almost afterimages. Roan was almost overwhelmed but he still hanged in there. He deflected every slash and was able to defend himself. But, more and more slashes were able to slash him. Making him to grit his teeth as more wounds were made to his shoulders, hands, and several parts of his faces.
The two panicked and helped him making him defend their friend. Rick attacked the rogue with his axe and then he vanished like a ghost. Making him to wonder where he went or disappeared.
"Afterimage then Invisibility, a skill that was able to make the rogue hard to detect or catch." Ren explained.
"Huh!?" He gasped. Rick was shocked, the two were safe for now. Though the enemy was still hiding in the dark.
Then suddenly, at the back of Rick, appeared his enemy, Ren fired soul fire and it stunned the enemy just right in time.
"Rick!" Ren shouted. He immediately threw his sword and then the rogue dispelled his stun in due time. The sword was stuck in the walls of the cavern and then Ren was weaponless now.
"That's a Backstab skill, he will appear in a blink at the back of the enemy and deal two times the damage of the weapon. Digging the dagger in the back will be painfully critical and death is imminent." Ren said to Roan.
"Let's survive and kill the enemy. Coordinate our attacks everyone!" Ren commanded.
Ren then grabbed his sword and then they formed a formation. Suddenly, daggers rained in them and Rick raised his shield. Shielding the daggers that wanted to pierce their armor. Luckily, Rick has a shield and was able to block in due time.
"Even Dagger throw!? Man I am impressed with our enemy! He at least was in the master level."
The three then was attacked in several directions. The enemy was dashing and encircling them using his blink step on the process. The rogue attacked Roan and then Roan blocked with his dagger. Ren was alerted and defended him with his sword. The rogue backed off and then attacked again towards Ren. He managed to deflect the blow and then slashed on his chest. Though his slash was shallow. The enemy was agile and fast, and he could not deal a critical damage.
The enemy then attacked and Ren has a plan, he will use his stun to stop the enemy then decapitate him. With that, he whispered it to his friends. They nodded in unison.
Roan then dashed towards the enemy as a trap and then used his ravens to distract the enemy. Then after, Ren used his soul fire at the enemy. In which landed.
Ren could solo him but he could not have much more time, they were at bind but defeated it with a stun....each timing was hard but Ren predicted it's move and throw each soul fire to the enemy.
Each soul fire was calculated, with each cast burns his mana. He could only cast 3 to 4 times.
Then they deal damage....
One second and it will get dispelled. With that, Ren used his Reaper Slash and struck the neck of the enemy. Sending it's head off from his body.
With that, the enemy slumped to the floor and it's head rolled down. Making the battle to an utter halt.
They immediately made high five and then laughed. Dispelling the fear and edginess from the battle. It was fast and effective.
With that, Ren as well as the others rested. Ren collected his soul and then used soul inspect.

The soul was put to one of the skeletons and then it opened its brilliant bluish eyes. Then spoke. "Thank you for freeing me from the shackles of corruption. It seemed you have the power to cleanse us corrupted heroes from the power of corruption of the primordial evils. Alas, we have you as our hope for eternal rest." He said to him.
"I see, yeah, welcome, I just knew that I could separate the soul and its corruption. Don't underestimate dark magic. It can do such things. Making the soul purified." Ren explained.
He was purified and his senses as a human was restored, he thanked him and was ready to serve him for this lifetime. "Under the cursed possession, It felt like I was alive but felt dreaming. I can't control my own body and was like a walking corpse. Thank you master, I will repay you for freeing me. With that, I will serve you in this lifetime." Asher said to him then knelt.
"It's okay, stand up." Ren commanded.
"Now, I have a total of 5 summons."

He has now 5 summons and was still getting stronger. Making him to grit his teeth in sheer excitement. Though as for now, he was still weak and his summons were too few. He preferred quality over quantity. And with that, he would find more qualified summons to serve him.

It was then, they all leveled up. Seeing the words appearing on their heads made them think so. With that, they believed that the mission was a success.
They also saw the chest on the back that was oozing with yellowish glow. Making them halt their conversation and then approached the chest.
"This is not a trap yes?" Ren asked.
"Nope," Asher replied.
Ren immediately opened the chest and saw 3 skill pages to float in the air. One of each to them.
Rick got summon treant skill page. Making him summon a treant that could demolish enemies and tank for him. He finally have the skill! He was hoping he could have one in his lifetime and there it was!

Roan got summon twin wolves. He could now summon twin wolves that pounces on enemies. Both wolves were excellent at combos of attacks. Roan could now execute better combos with his twin wolves. Roan was now happy.

Ren got the Bone Armour skill. He now has a bone armour that could defend from both physical and magical damages. Ren now was happy as he could go all out brawl without concerns.

With that, they travelled back to the camp and then were dead tired.
Roan was still on edge as it was his first time killing monsters. As for Rick, he was quite the veteran and Ren was just a nonchalant one. As they travelled back, the three were talking. They could not move on immediately in their first mission.
"Dude! I nearly died!" Roan exclaimed. "You are the perfect person for being a trap for the enemy. Hahaha, though if that screwed up, yeah you might have died." Ren spoke and his voice trembled.
"See!? That's a very dangerous one! I might have died!" Roan complained again.
"Man, we need to get stronger." Rick groaned.
"Yeah, we all need to." Ren pondered. "Wait, what if we train harder when we get back!" Ren summoned an idea.
"Yeah sure, of course we all need to." Roan scratching his head, "Especially me, my weapon handles were of a newbie. I need to master my weapon more." He added.
"Yeah, of course, me too." Ren replied.
