Chapter 80 - Chapter 54: Communication_2

The Watcher's favorite pastime of watching others, especially Batwoman, made Cindy inwardly delighted.

Although she and Su Ming had not communicated, she had already completely understood which new plan he had adopted from his actions, which was exactly the same as her own thoughts. Moreover, he seemed very familiar with that Speedster and was trying to win him over.

He chose a more conciliatory plan, but this did not mean showing weakness to Batwoman. On the contrary, the stronger Cindy appeared, the more reassured Bat would feel. Briss liked logical thinking, so the completely illogical Jester became her nemesis.

Even though Su Ming and Cindy had not made a move yet, they clearly held the upper hand, and Su Ming had bluntly pointed out the method to restrain the Speedsters, causing Batwoman's original plan to collapse.

Once they held an advantage yet appeared reasonable, Briss would sense the illogicality and possibly guess their new plan, potentially causing a stir.

The current situation was Plan B against Plan B; Cindy had to maintain stability, while Su Ming was playing the good cop, so she would naturally play the bad cop.

Watching Cindy and Briss argue, Su Ming knew Cindy understood his plan, so he pretended to sigh helplessly, and Barry almost sighed at the same time.

"The women of this world, they're too strong-willed." Su Ming pretended as if he couldn't manage Cindy and shook his head.

"Yeah, it's like everyone is possessed by Diana, very odd." Barry, unaware of the details and after experiencing Briss's assertiveness over the past month, wholeheartedly agreed.

"Come on, let's talk somewhere else."

Casually hooking his arm around Barry's neck, Su Ming led him towards Falcone's desk nearby. Barry was only slightly stiff, but he felt this Deathstroke had no ill intentions, even using little force on his arm, so he dazedly sat beside Su Ming at the desk.

Su Ming smiled faintly in his mind; now was the time to sever the connection between Barry and Briss, at least making him feel closer to his own stance: "I've said my piece, now you tell me, when did you leave there, and how far has Barbatos progressed?"

Barry closed his eyes, his fist clenched tightly as if enduring something: "Barbatos has already reached the Main World, and he is building Dark Towers in every city, tying people onto them to make them fall into endless nightmares, using this as energy to gather Dark Energy, attempting to drag the entire Bright Universe into the Dark Dimension..."

Su Ming immediately matched it in his mind, understanding where the Main World was heading.

"So you gathered at the Forgotten Bar, then dispersed to take action. You and Superman went to the Arctic's Lonely Fortress, using the Anti-Monitor's Cosmic Tuning Fork to open the way to the Dark Multiverse to find the displaced Batman."

"Yes... Do you know that?"

Barry showed a ghost-like expression; he hadn't even finished his words before Su Ming knew, giving him a sense of being seen through.

"I mentioned that I learned some things in another world... but you shouldn't have entered the Dark Universe; how did you end up here?" Su Ming didn't directly answer him but continued with the next question.

"Yes, after sending Superman into the Dark Universe, Barbatos's Dark Knight Order arrived quickly, wanting to seize the Cosmic Tuning Fork as an energy amplifier. I fought them, and in the battle, a Speedster called Red Death Demon appeared. During the fight, the fluctuations were too big, attracting the Time Ghost. To escape him, I entered the time-space turbulence and hit something. When I woke up, I was here."

Barry reluctantly repeated what he had told Briss, while slightly touching his head, looking a bit embarrassed as if he had bumped it.

Su Ming nodded to show understanding; from here, things were different from the comics. In the comics, Barry didn't escape but was directly tied to the tower as a battery. It seemed this was the time Su Ming arrived in the DC Universe, indeed having caused a butterfly effect.

Barry's arrival did indeed create a Flashpoint Effect on Earth -11, but before that, he had been affected by the Transmigrator effect of Su Ming, like a light flashing inside a covered pot, with no light passing through, only affecting locally, which was Briss's destiny.

So now Earth -11 could be changed at Su Ming's whim, and his Transmigrator effect was greater than Barry's Flashpoint Effect, allowing him to set aside previous concerns.

Learning these things, Su Ming relaxed a lot, although he still had no evidence of who he really was, and the two memories were splitting his personality.

"And then you found time had reversed; things hadn't happened yet, so you decided to change it all before Briss became Drowned, at least reducing the Dark Knight Order by one."

"Yes, that's what I thought. You know, even just one Bruce is difficult for us to deal with, let alone the Dark Knight Order consisting of seven Bruces, each possessing our abilities..."

Barry picked up his teacup, seemingly agitated from recalling those twisted Batmen, still trapped in the tension of being hunted by the Dark Knights.

The Justice League felt like mosquitoes fluttering in the night, pursued by a swarm of bats.

"They're just imposters; at their core, they are still Batman. As long as you take me to the Main World, with everyone uniting, we can completely oppose them."

Su Ming hurriedly poured a bowl of motivational soup for Barry, superheroes love words like unity and struggle, portraying himself righteously to gain trust.

Moreover, it was not entirely untrue; knowing the comics well, Su Ming indeed knew the weakness of each Dark Knight. However, how much he could contribute now was uncertain, as everything diverged from the comics.

"Yes, and after resolving the danger on Earth -11, I'll return to my world. If you're willing, you can come with me too."

Barry indeed drank up the motivational soup, instantly feeling invigorated, immediately agreeing to Su Ming's proposal, patting his chest with the lightning symbol with a bang.

Su Ming was secretly pleased, as the Main World was much more stable and safer than the Dark Multiverse. The Flash, true to the Justice League, was the easiest to trust others.

Although he had undergone the effects of Divine Speed, his actual age wasn't as young as he looked, his personality remained cheerful and optimistic, willing to be kind to others, making him the easiest to persuade.

Next would be Superman, with a Steel Body and a Golden Heart, also willing to trust others, always thinking positively about people.

Batman was the hardest to persuade, forever buried in the darkness, never trusting anyone.

As for Sea King, the rebellious child didn't matter; after all, the Justice League never cared about his opinion, as he was just an Advanced hand.

Steel Bone lived perpetually in the Watchtower in outer space or in the Hall of Justice in Washington, and Green Lantern flew all over the universe. One was a human computer, and the other often away on assignments, generally having little say. Shazam was not yet a member of the Justice League, and Mars Hunter was nowhere to be found in N52, so they were also excluded.

Now Su Ming, relying on his skill in brewing motivational soup, initially gained Barry's trust. Given some more time, proving himself in battle, Barry would surely acknowledge him even more.

He was preparing a follow-up plan. He needed the Justice League to assist him with something, which required gaining approval from those with significant influence within the League.
