Chapter 18. A Kafra Maid in Westeros - The Twig Arrived in Westeros

The young ones' routine had finally fallen into place.Following the guidance of the so-called Three-Eyed Raven, they repeated the same activities every day: chopping wood, organizing the inn's rooms, doing physical exercises, and training with their wooden swords.

It didn't take long for Aron and Jenny to start noticing the difference in their bodies — and their strength.

Night fell over the inn, and the children were already resting. Twig, ever curious to monitor his friends' progress, took advantage of the silence to perform a detailed appraisal.

"Phew, finally Level 5!" Twig sighed with relief — then frowned. "Wait, System… now that I don't have missions, how do I gain experience? How do I level up from now on?"

At first, nothing happened — no ding, no message. Then, before Twig's eyes, a faint light shimmered in the air. A translucent figure appeared — the form of a young woman in a maid uniform, glowing softly like a ghost.

Twig's heart skipped a beat. He almost screamed but quickly covered his mouth, terrified of waking the others.

The apparition smiled and spoke gently:"Hello, Master. I am Aliane, your Kafra assistant. Do not worry — only you can hear my voice, and I can hear your thoughts. Your friends will not be disturbed."

Twig exhaled in relief, shoulders sagging."H-Hello, Aliane. I'm Robert — but you can call me Twig. You'll help me use the Kafra services, right?"

"Exactly, Young Master," she replied with a polite bow. "I am your intermediary to access all Kafra functions. Would you like a full list of available services?"

"Yes, please!" Twig said eagerly.

"Four options? Awesome!" Twig exclaimed, eyes wide. "Okay, what does Teleportation do?"

Aliane explained patiently, "The Teleportation function allows you to move to a previously saved location or, if you wish, to a dungeon of your choice."

"Ah, I see!" Twig said, snapping his fingers. "So Saved Point works with Save Location! I can register places and return to them whenever I need!"

"Exactly, Young Master. But make sure to save only safe places," Aliane said with a smile.

"Got it. Let's see the Dungeon options."

"Ah, only one option for now… Wait, five hundred Zeny?!" Twig groaned. "I don't even have one!"

"How am I supposed to get Zeny, anyway?"

"You can obtain Zeny by selling items you collect inside dungeons," Aliane explained. "You can do so through the Store function."

"Show me the Store options, then."

He frowned, muttering, "So I need Zeny to enter the dungeon to earn Zeny, but I can't enter the dungeon without Zeny. Great logic, System."

"Wait— I have coupons? And since when do I even have an inventory?" Twig asked, shocked.

[Ding!] Host, you have had inventory access since acquiring the system. You simply never requested to open it.

Twig facepalmed. "Of course I didn't! You never told me about it!"

Aliane giggled softly."Master, will you continue arguing with your system, or shall we use this opportunity to explore a dungeon?"

Twig grinned. "You're right, Aliane. I just leveled up — my energy's full. I'm stronger than ever."

He cracked his knuckles, stretching. "I'll just distribute my points, then we'll give this dungeon a try."

"System, distribute points as usual."

[Ding!]

"Wow, I feel so powerful!" Twig whispered excitedly. "Man, increasing attributes really boosts your energy!"

He clenched his fists, eyes glowing with determination."I'm ready. Let's try this dungeon — and pray the monsters aren't too strong. But hey, it's for levels five to ten. I can handle it."

He smirked to himself."And if I can't…" he muttered, rolling his shoulders, "…then I'll just run."
