"Hmm, quite confident I like it," Si-Hun said being calm.
The snake hissed, violently shaking its head and moving it near Si-Hun.
They were facing each other.
It was so close that their noses could almost touch.
The snake was glaring at Si-Hun, its gaze annoyed and frustrated.
Si-Hun didn't do anything, just took a few steps aside and touched the snake's skin through his finger.
The snake hissed louder this time, its whole body reacting.
"Hmm…his skin is really crunky. Seems like it needs a new skin soon. He's been here for long enough to shed his skin. Perfect" Si-Hun thought.
"So, what do you bring me?" Si-Hun asked with a calm only he possessed.
The snake hissed again, moving toward Si-Hun, but Si-Hun was gone before it could attack him.
His flash made him unpredictable.
He moved across the snake's skin, making it hiss repeatedly.
"Good, it's working!" Si-Hun muttered while moving.
After he was done, he moved to another corner.
The snake, finally relaxing, was enraged.
It acted quickly and removed its tongue.
Its tongue was reddish with hints of green radiating from the edges.
"Venom…" Si-Hun whispered under his breath as he studied the snake.
The snake used its venom and got closer to Si-Hun.
Si-Hun teleported just in time.
He reappeared again when he was in the air, charging his sword at the snake with brute force.
The sword hit the snake's neck with a snap, making it fall to the ground.
Si-Hun landed on the floor and took a few deep breaths to get his energy back.
The snake glanced over the chamber, eyes sharp.
In a matter of seconds, its skin started glowing bright red, the patterns more defined than ever.
The red glow was venom.
The snake was finally catching up with Han Si-Hun.
He looked at his skin, which was turning a shade of blue, his veins popping and becoming more visible.
"He's using venom... but it's unlike any way I've ever seen before," He muttered under his breath as he looked at the snake again.
"Be careful Si-Hun… I think leaving this raid for the moment is a sensible decision," Kuro said.
"I have everyone's hopes…We all will die if this snake isn't wiped out…There's no time to waste."
"Lightning strike!" Si-Hun used the lightning strike at the snake to weaken the snake's skin further.
The ability portrayed its effect, leaving the snake backing off.
But in no time, the snake was back, weaker this time.
Si-Hun was ready, his instincts alert, reflexes tight.
The snake was fuming through his nostrils, the smoke clearly visible.
It hissed one last time before showing what no one had expected.
One, two, three… the snake circled Si-Hun at such speed that it seemed even faster than his flash.
Its moving body created a cloud-like fluff that covered his sight from all sides.
"Eugh…" Si-Hun groaned under his nose as he saw the snake getting bigger and bigger.
"I told you! This is not a normal monster!" Kuro shouted, loud enough for Si-Hun to hear.
"Check your stats!" He continued.
Si-Hun opened his stats without wasting a second.
A new ability again…
What was it this time?
"Stiller"
"Stiller?" Si-Hun muttered.
"Read the description quickly!" Kuro said in a rush.
Si-Hun read the description and instantly knew why this ability was given at such a time.
"Exactly…" He whispered to himself as he obtained the ability and also invested in his skills.
Si-Hun slowly stood still, his eyes turning the same shade of black and purple that scared the shit out of the other predators.
He used it.
The ability.
As the ability did its work, the moment slowly started to slow down, giving him a clear vision of what the snake was doing.
But the con here was that he could not use the skill for too long, 1 minute max.
Si-Hun then used his strategy, finding the weak pressure points of the snake and using his flash with his long forgotten ability "tiger's claw" in his hand to make cuts through its body.
Even the snake's whimpers were slowed as if it were a scene straight out of a Hollywood classic; it really was, not on TV, but reality.
Quickly, he took out his revolver, reloading it quickly, then shooting the snake multiple times again.
The last step was to grasp the snake to pull it down.
But due to the spreading venom, things were starting to feel really tipsy for him.
His speed was decreasing and his vision was a little foggy, but he was still going.
For this, Si-Hun used a rope lying nearby, quickly wrapping the snake up as the timer clicked 00:00.
The snake fell with a thud, the dust particles moving in the air.
"Now's the main part…You're gonna be a great addition." Si-Hun said as his dark eyes trailed down the snake's body.
