Chapter 136 - Chapter 135: Discovering and Utilizing Patterns

Chapter 135: Discovering and Utilizing Patterns

Euryn stood in front of the device, his eyes gleaming with an almost morbid light. His face was contorted with fervor, his lips twitching, revealing a bizarre smile that was somewhere between excitement and madness. It was this feeling of impending death that he couldn't bear.

"Hiss-ha... Hiss-ha... Quick! Let me try it! Let me try it!"

"You're a genius! Let me experience it!"

"I can't stand it!"

Euryn began to laugh maniacally; if he could move, he probably would have already crawled inside. He licked his lips, a flush even appearing on his pale face, like a thirsty wild beast. He turned his head, staring intently at Francis, his voice becoming sharp and urgent.

"Hurry! Put me in! I have to try it! It's absolutely amazing! I'm begging you!"

Upon hearing this, Francis rubbed his eyes; it was the first time he had ever heard such a request. He stepped toward the machine without hesitation.

"As you wish!" With that, Francis threw Euryn in, and immediately a stench of poison wafted from the meat.

"Mmm... this taste... this tastes absolutely amazing!"

"Aggghh! It really hurts! Hahaha..." Euryn twisted his body wildly, blood seeping from every hole in his body, as if he had been squeezed dry and was becoming increasingly shriveled.

"It's coming! It's coming!"

"Aaaaaaahhhhh..." Euryn screamed incessantly, and with a final gasp, his body exploded into a pile of mangled flesh.

Then the resurrection chamber began to revive a new body, but Euryn's body seemed to be cursed. His spine was like a twisted, bent, broken pillar. He had many limbs that were perpetually decaying or completely necrotic, and they were rooted in his rotten spine. His face was forcibly fixed to his skull by leathery chunks of flesh.

At the same time, he kept letting out shrill screams, screams that came from the depths of his soul, as if countless steel needles were being inserted into his brain and then stirred and stirred again.

After being fully resurrected, Euryn actually showed a hint of pleasure, and even the way he looked at Francis was different. "You are awesome!"

Francis: "?"

Before he could react, the poisonous gas spread again, and Euryn was once again caught in a state of both pain and pleasure.

"Ah... It hurts so much..."

"Ah... That's it! I'm going to die! I'm going to die!"

"Aaaaaaahhhhh..."

"I'm alive again, but it's painful! So painful!"

Each time he was resurrected, his physical body became more and more like a terrifying monster. Francis watched in silence, his expression unreadable.

Francis: "..."

Even on the thirtieth attempt, before he was fully resurrected, Euryn murmured an eldar spell whose meaning was unclear.

"No one understands the soul better than me!"

In an instant, his soul erupted with intense psychic light, like a star exploding. The device's resurrection module was subjected to a violent impact, emitting a piercing shriek, and the energy fluctuations even shook the laboratory walls.

"Yahoo..." Euryn's soul escaped in the chaos, shattering into pieces.

In an instant, Francis understood and roared. "Run, everyone!"

At the same time, the sky above Gamon was torn apart by Euryn's psionic burst, and dozens of grotesque warp rifts appeared like a nightmare, emitting eerie light and twisted energy. Emerging from the cracks were countless sadistic demons, shrieking and roaring, sweeping across the streets with frenzied pleasure and destructive intent.

Amidst this chaos, Francis led the Soul Drinkers into the Blood Prophet's Witch Council. The Dark Eldar fighting in the street were also completely dumbfounded when they saw this scene.

"How could there be humans here?"

"Kill them!"

"..."

But before they could get close, Francis roared. "Throw all those potent aphrodisiacs and stimulant compounds out!"

Bang bang bang!

As countless pink potions were thrown out, the scene descended into chaos. Male Eldar, female Eldar, demons, stone pillars, and drain openings were all mixed together. The groans continued incessantly, and Francis even saw more than a dozen males linked together, like an ouroboros. And they were tearing each other's flesh apart.

One second ago, the demon had already slashed the eldar warrior in the chest with his blade. The next second, the two embraced passionately, their tongues, each over a meter long, binding them together...

Some of the Aeldari were so moved that they couldn't help but throw out various alchemical gases with their hands, making the scene colorful for a moment.

Francis brandished his longsword with steady, powerful steps, his arms behind his back, constantly spraying deadly acid. They forged a bloody path leading directly to the spaceport, overcoming countless obstacles and screams.

"Stop right there! Don't even think about escaping!"

"You can't escape! Come inside with me!"

"Ahhhhh..."

A group of Dark Eldar with bloodshot eyes and naked buttocks was still in hot pursuit. The Soul Drinkers killed one wave after another, their formations tight and disciplined.

As the warship's engines roared to life, Francis and his army surged out of Gamon. The warship pierced through a warp rift, escaping this corrupted land. Through the porthole, Gamon could be seen completely engrossed in a massive party.

When they returned to the Abyss Roar, the eldar warships that had been pursuing them immediately stopped.

Before they could even think about it, Francis had already given the order. "Fire!"

The moment arrived.

Several dazzling beams of light ripped through the void, accompanied by awe-inspiring energy fluctuations, and struck the eldar warship directly. Those slender and elegant hulls were simply unable to withstand such a devastating blow and exploded instantly, turning into scattered flames and metal fragments.

Francis picked up the orc phone, and a piercing noise rang out, followed by three different responses.

"Why are you back so soon? What happened?" Perturabo's voice came through, his tone tinged with doubt and suspicion.

"Ah! I was fighting a bloody battle, but I didn't expect all the demons to come out. Now they're fighting the xenos! All we have to do is add fuel to the fire!" Francis stroked his chin, speaking casually.

Hearing this, Ferrus asked curiously, "What exactly did you do? How did you manage to attract all the demons here?"

"How could that be! I didn't do anything!" Francis immediately retorted, his voice defensive. "Who knows what bad thing someone did that caused this! Like a cat whose tail has been stepped on."

Judging from his tone, Perturabo was pretty sure that Francis had done something. He exchanged a look with the others.

Khan: "..."

On the outskirts of Gamon, the fleets of the four legions hovered silently in the void, observing the chaotic battle from afar.

The roars of demons and the painful battle cries of the Eldar intertwined, turning the sky black and red with the pervasive energy fluctuations and the stench of blood. Every swing of the sword by an Eldar warrior could be their last.

Behind these demons, warp rifts continued to tear open, spewing forth a frenzied flow of energy. The shadows within the rifts grew even darker, and legions of demons seemed to emerge from them in an endless stream.

In every corner of the city, the Bloodlings moved swiftly, traversing the battlefield and working tirelessly around the rifts to seal the warp fissures. As the number of rifts decreased, the Dark Eldar gradually gained the upper hand.

"Isn't this going to work? If they keep doing this, the cracks will be completely sealed up soon." Ferrus frowned, seemingly deep in thought.

"Don't rush! Let the shells fly for a while!" Francis narrowed his eyes slightly, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help but turn up.

Perturabo: "Cannonballs?"

Francis subtly flicked his wrist, and the warship swiftly unleashed over a dozen psionic shells. These shells, carrying immense psionic energy, swiftly pierced through the fleet's outer shields and flew towards the core of Gamon.

Rumble...

A deafening roar erupted as the psionic projectile struck the city's structure at incredible speed. A violent explosion and psionic shockwave erupted instantly.

Sizzle...

The burst of psionic energy attracted warp demons, which almost immediately opened countless warp rifts. New demons emerged from these rifts and frantically rushed outwards. The crack widened again, plunging the skies of Gamon into even deeper chaos.

"Hahaha! So many offerings!"

"For the sake of the debauched ruler!"

"..."

One after another, demons leaped out from the crack.

"Damn it! Who! Who's using psionic energy!" A Bloodling warrior's voice cracked with desperation.

"Damn it!"

"If I catch you, I'll cut you into a thousand pieces! Aaaaaah! My legs!"

Upon witnessing this scene, the Dark Eldar warriors roared with bloodshot eyes. Their roars mingled with the battle cries of the Dark Eldar, filling the air with a stench of blood and terror.

As more and more warp rifts appeared, countless Bloodlings covered their heads and growled. "I refuse to believe I can't finish fixing it!"

"Everyone, give it your all! Fix it!"

They were wearing tattered armor, cold sweat dripped from their foreheads, their eyes were bloodshot, and they looked increasingly exhausted.

Just as they were making progress in their repairs, a dozen more psionic bombs struck Gamon. The cycle repeated.

Faced with an increasing number of warp rifts, a Bloodling clutched his head, his knees barely supporting his body, his eyes bulging and his face contorted in extreme pain.

"It can't be finished! It's simply impossible to finish fixing it!"

"What a beast!"

The number of rifts increased, and these demons and rifts almost entirely occupied the entire sky of Gamon. The uncontrollable chaos nearly drove them to a mental breakdown.

"This can't go on any longer!" One of the Blood Actors cried out, almost collapsing, his fingers trembling slightly, as if he could no longer endure it. His knees buckled beneath him.

Despair filled the faces of those bloodthirsty ones.

Those who witnessed the entire scene from a distance all felt a chill run down their spines.

"Francis, isn't this going too far?" Perturabo's voice crackled through the comm, his concern evident.
