Allison's POV
Ethan took a sip from his wine and glanced at me, then he chuckled.
" You… you know them?" Is that even a question? I don't understand how the three of them know each other! Did Ethan have a connection with them?
"So, you fought Henry for me?" Ethan raised a brow, giving me a teasing smile.
"What's going on, uncle?!"
He chuckled. "Actually, there's no way you can beat Henry just like that. You took advantage of him when he was weak, but we had to let you win because of his highness."
"Oh… your highness." I looked at Ethan and nodded. Ethan held his glass of wine and looked at me. Our eyes locked. I suddenly felt like I didn't even know anything about this man. I heard they said he's terrifying and powerful… it seems he's not even in danger like I thought. He already has everything under his control! No wonder he's calm!
And me? I'm there thinking I successfully protected him.
"We let you take him down because he is destined to kill you," Jethro chuckled.
