Chapter 468 - Chapter 466: Maxime's Slap

The situation changed too quickly. Almost in an instant, the hooded wizards, who originally held the advantage, were all lying on the ground, completely incapacitated.

Whether it was Mr. Weasley, Bill, or Charlie, they all felt as if they were dreaming.

"Is it reinforcements arriving?" Charlie asked, turning his head to look around.

Mr. Weasley did not speak, he just gazed at where the last hooded wizard had fallen, frowning slightly.

At this moment, the air around them suddenly rippled.

Kael, who had lifted the Disillusionment Charm, waved to them and said, "How is it, are you all unharmed?"

"What are you doing here!" Mr. Weasley said sternly, "This place is dangerous, go back into the woods quickly!"

"Dangerous?"

Kael turned his head and looked at the sprawled wizards on the ground, "It seems fine to me... I think there shouldn't be a problem."

"Did you do this?" Bill asked incredulously.

"You could say I got lucky... they were too careless." Kael nodded, then reached down and carefully collected the Chomping Cabbages from their legs.

Mr. Weasley acted swiftly, and those people barely struggled before being knocked out, so the Chomping Cabbages were still intact, just with a few scrapes.

Not bad, they can be used again next time.

Mr. Weasley watched him and his mouth twitched slightly.

Although the Chomping Cabbage is not like the Poisonous Tentacles, a restricted item, it's not something just anyone can grow; it requires a pile of paperwork and registration with the Ministry of Magic.

Strictly speaking, someone like Kael casually throwing out seven or eight is certainly not allowed.

But since there was no one else around, Mr. Weasley silently turned his face to the side, pretending he hadn't seen anything.

Bill and Charlie did the same, and the three of them tacitly lowered their heads and began picking up the wands on the ground.

They then conjured ropes to bind them tightly together.

When they picked up the last wand, the one with a snakehead decoration, Mr. Weasley's eyes suddenly lit up.

In his memory, only one person would use such a flamboyantly decorated wand.

He then quickly walked back and uncovered the hoods and masks of all the people.

"Yaxley... Crabbe... Luke Wood..." Mr. Weasley called out their names one by one.

"Goyle... and Malfoy!"

Especially upon seeing the last person, Mr. Weasley couldn't help but laugh even though the crisis wasn't completely over.

"Let's see how you try to worm your way out of this one!" he said happily.

From the beginning, he had suspected that Lucius Malfoy, who was always up to no good, was among them, but he had no evidence.

Now caught red-handed, he's doomed!

Mr. Weasley had never been so glad, and if the timing were more appropriate, he would have loved to call a few friends over for a drink.

"Thud, thud..."

At this moment, heavy footsteps approached, and a giant figure over three meters tall came running from a distance.

With every step she took, Kael could feel the ground trembling slightly.

"Gabrielle... Nova... Cassel... thank heavens you're all here!"

"Headmaster Maxime!"

Seeing the newcomer, the young wizards, who had been huddled in fear, became excited, crying and running towards her.

They hugged Maxime's legs, speaking rapidly in French and occasionally pointing towards Kael and Mr. Weasley.

Then Maxime led them over.

"Thank you!" she thanked sincerely, "I'm Olympe Maxime, headmaster of Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, thank you for saving these children."

"It's nothing, anyone would have done it." Mr. Weasley said, looking up.

To be honest, upon first seeing Headmaster Maxime, he suspected she might be related to Hagrid.

She was so massive... Mr. Weasley wasn't short himself, but standing next to her he only came up to her waist.

"Oh, I didn't notice earlier..."

Maxime's gaze suddenly fell on Kael, "I thought we might meet again someday, but I never expected it to be under such circumstances... I've heard from Gabrielle, thank you for saving them."

"No, it was Mr. Weasley's doing." Kael said with a smile, "I just happened to get here in time to lend a hand."

"That's remarkable enough." Ms. Maxime said, with a tinge of annoyance in her voice, "Unlike some people who act all high and mighty normally, but panic during unforeseen situations, even losing their classmates!

I really should have brought Fleur; at least she wouldn't have embarrassed Beauxbatons."

As Maxime spoke, she became angrier, and in her pent-up frustration, she took it out on the people tied up.

Before anyone could react, she slapped one of them across the face.

The consequences of being slapped by a Half-Giant were predictable.

The forceful slap directly sent the tied-up individuals flying, and as they landed, they collapsed a tent, rolling a good distance away.

"Oh... Merlin!" Mr. Weasley hurried over.

"Sorry..." Maxime said, her mind much clearer now, "But don't worry, I know my limits, they shouldn't die."

Kael looked at the teeth on the ground and doubted Maxime's words.

But he didn't dwell on it, casually asking, "Didn't Fleur come to watch the match?"

"She has other things to attend to... preparing for another grand event." Maxime said with a smile, "But you should meet soon."

Kael nodded.

Maxime needed to hurriedly get the children to a safe place, so she didn't linger long, thanking the Weasleys again before leaving.

The chaos around them continued, and Mr. Weasley found a vacant tent to throw the tied-up people inside, instructing Charlie and Kael to guard them.

As for himself, he needed to go help.

There were too many rioting wizards, at least two hundred, and the Ministry of Magic didn't have enough manpower.

"Wait!" Kael wanted to stop him, but Mr. Weasley didn't halt, running out of the tent without looking back.

Charlie wanted to help like Bill but was worried about leaving Kael alone and could only fret on the side.

In comparison, Kael seemed much more at ease, stopping after chasing out of the tent.

If Charlie had observed closely, he would have noticed that although the surrounding battle was still chaotic, it wasn't as intense as it had been, with fewer spells being cast and the battlefield becoming more scattered.

It felt like, without a leader, the once orderly group had turned into a disordered mob.

As for who the leaders were...

Kael glanced at the few people tied in the tent... the answer was obvious.

More importantly, reinforcements from the Ministry of Magic had arrived.

Not far away, a large number of Beaters and Aurors were rushing into the camp from all directions, led by the Head of the Auror Office, Scrimgeour. He looked like an angry lion, raising his wand from afar.

The Aurors and Beaters behind him did the same, raining down Stunning and Disarming Spells on the rioters who were still resisting.
