Chapter 386 - Chapter 384: Kael's Guardian God

Professor Dumbledore is not in the castle?

Kael quickly stood up, looking towards the classroom seats behind the commentary podium...

A lightning bolt flashed, briefly illuminating the pitch.

As Mikel said, Professor Dumbledore was indeed not there.

And due to the rain, there were far fewer professors watching the match than usual, only a few, all looking as if they were facing a formidable enemy.

"Ah... Dementors... they are Dementors!"

Screams around grew louder, evidently everyone had noticed the anomaly above the pitch.

Back on the train, two Dementors had already terrified all the students, and now there were at least a hundred here!

"How is this possible, this can't be…"

"Didn't the professor say they would only stay at the entrance of the school?"

"Stop the match quickly, Harry... Harry is in danger!" Hermione lay at the front of the stands, shouting loudly towards the pitch.

But it was too noisy around, her voice couldn't travel far... though it wasn't necessary.

A blurred shadow was speeding towards them from mid-air.

Malfoy was pale, gripping his broom tightly.

It seemed as if his potential had been completely unleashed by the Dementors, even faster than when catching the Golden Snitch before.

"Help, help!" he screamed in terror, "I can't stop!"

Kael hurriedly pulled out his wand, turning surrounding cloaks and umbrellas into large nets, stopping the broom that was about to crash into the stands.

After narrowly escaping danger, Malfoy let out a sigh of relief, the first thing he did after coming down was kicking the unconscious Harry off the broom and explaining loudly:

"It's not my fault, I didn't even touch Potter, he fainted from fright because of the Dementors and fell on my broom."

"He almost made me fall too!"

Saying this, Malfoy, even angrier, wanted to kick again but was held back by the people around him.

"What on earth happened?" someone asked.

"We encountered Dementors while chasing the Golden Snitch." Malfoy shivered, "Then Potter fell... I was just below... the broom fell uncontrollably... I struggled a lot... just barely managed to change its direction.

Oh right... Dementors!"

He suddenly remembered something and quickly looked up.

The Dementors were very close, they seemed eager to feast.

A mist of silver light glowed from the stands.

These were the Patronus Charms of some older students, but there were not many complete Patronuses.

And in front of hundreds of Dementors, these Patronuses could only protect the area around them; they couldn't cover a larger area.

Meanwhile, three brighter silver lights flew from the direction of the teachers' seats.

A cat, a weasel, and a swift.

The Patronuses of these professors flew into the sky, the brilliant silver light instantly covering most of the pitch, but there was still a small empty spot.

"Severus!"

Professor McGonagall shouted anxiously, "What are you doing, hurry up!"

Snape, who was sitting beside her, had a changeable expression, but seeing the Dementors getting closer and closer, he gritted his teeth and took out his wand.

Yet before he could cast a charm, a new Patronus floated out leisurely.

The umbrella-shaped body rippled in mid-air like water, scattering a large expanse of silver light, instantly filling the last piece of vacancy.

The Dementors were blocked outside the pitch, unable to take another step forward.

Professor McGonagall wiped the cold sweat off her forehead, angrily reprimanding Snape, "What were you doing just now, don't tell me you can't even use a Patronus Charm."

Even though Snape deducted all the points from Gryffindor students before, she hadn't been this angry.

And Snape, knowing he was at fault, didn't offer any defense.

Once things calmed down, Professor McGonagall then noticed she had no impression of the Patronus that suddenly appeared just now, and curiously scrutinized it.

An umbrella-shaped body with several long tentacles below...

"A jellyfish?" she looked towards Professor Sprout beside her, "Do you know whose Patronus is a jellyfish?"

Professor Sprout shook her head.

"Could it be... Kael?"

Professor Flitwick mused, "I remember Remus once said that Kael had also used a Patronus Charm on the train."

Professor McGonagall instinctively looked towards the Hufflepuff area, but the rain was too heavy, she couldn't see anything clearly.

...

"Kael, is that your Patronus?"

On the stands, Conna asked curiously, looking up at the creature continuously emitting silver light in mid-air.

Kael nodded, "Yes, it is."

"So beautiful…" Conna murmured.

Beside her, Cho also nodded in agreement.

Though Kael's Patronus wasn't as powerful as the professors', it was the most beautiful one.

Its silver body floated gently, like a dancing elf, making it impossible to look away.

"Could our Patronus be like that too?" Cho asked longingly.

Conna's eyes sparkled, "It might even be more beautiful than this."

"Not necessarily." Kael thought for a moment and said, "Everyone's Patronus is different, no one knows what it will look like until it actually appears.

Who knows, your Patronus could be a toad or a caterpillar... it's not impossible."

Cho's look of longing vanished immediately, and the light in Conna's eyes dimmed.

Both turned their heads at the same time, glaring at Kael as if they wanted to kill him.

"I swear…"

Conna gritted her teeth and said, "If my Patronus really is a caterpillar, I'll kill you, just you wait."

"Me too." Cho chimed in.

"No, what does this have to do with me?" Kael explained, "I was just talking casually, just using it as an example."

"I don't care!" Conna said irritably.

"Pfft..." Cedric couldn't help but laugh out loud.

"What are you laughing at." Cho glared at him, "It won't save you either."

"Huh?"

Cedric couldn't laugh anymore, "It's all Kael's doing, I didn't say anything."

"You laughed!"

"I..."

Seeing Cedric's baffled expression, the others around bit their lips tightly, bowed their heads, their shoulders shaking.

Malfoy wanted to laugh too, but with a glance from Conna, he quickly lowered his head, pinching his thigh forcefully.

"I'm just giving Kael face... not because I'm afraid of her." Malfoy thought to himself,

Kael had saved him from the runaway broom just now, and Conna was Kael's friend, giving them some respect is the right thing to do...

Yes, that's right, that's it.

Malfoy quickly convinced himself.
