"This is the crystallization of our brothers' power, the strongest guardian combined from the Three Demon Gods!" shouted Brother Maze.
Maze Brother: "That's right, now that the Gate Guardian has appeared, you don't stand a chance!"
Let's not talk about anything else; the oppressive presence of this monster is indeed strong, with its gigantic size and the invisible power it exudes.
Of course, Yugen knew that this thing was just a large blank slate in GX, a big monster whose potential hadn't been fully developed yet.
Still, this early version of the Gate Guardian wasn't without merit. For example, it once had the highest attack power of any warrior race card in the pool, and it was the only 11-star monster in Yu-Gi-Oh! history until Yubel appeared, even more frightening than the legendary Three Phantom Gods and Three Phantom Demons which were only ten stars...
Brother Maze: "I lay another card face down on the field, ending my turn."
Judai stared at the Gate Guardian for a while, and finally, turned to Yugen with excitement.
"Looks like something incredible has shown up!" he said with a smile. "We can't lose on our side either, Yugen."
"Of course. My turn, draw a card." Yugen said, "Magic Card 'Adversity's Treasure Scroll'! If there's a special summoned monster on the opponent's field and no monster on my field, draw two cards." (Original Card)
After drawing the cards, Yugen revealed another card from his hand.
"Magic Card 'Disrupting Riding'! Send 'Ojama Green', 'Ojama Yellow', and 'Ojama Black' from your hand to the graveyard, and special summon three Mechanical Race monsters with levels four or lower in defense mode from the deck!" (Original Card)
Yugen's deck had a lot of support cards used by Chazz in the original work, allowing for various tricks not possible in reality.
The deck searched, and Yugen revealed three cards at once.
"Special Summon 'X-Leader Cannon', 'Y-Head', and 'Z-Metal Track'!"

"The monsters special summoned through this effect cannot change their battle position but can be combined." Yugen said, "Transform and combine 'X-Leader Cannon', 'Y-Head', 'Z-Metal Track'!"
The XYZ triple transformation combined, the tri-colored mecha quickly assembled into a fully armed Divine Dragon Heavy Cannon, thundering onto the battlefield.

"Oh, a monster of such a level summoned all at once?" Maze Brother frowned, "I remember this guy's effect, it can destroy any card on the field by discarding a card from the hand, quite the troublesome card."
"If 'Gate Guardian' is targeted, we're in trouble." Brother Maze shouted, "So I open my cover card! Trap Card - Thunder Break! By discarding a card, I can destroy a card on the field!"
He drew a card from his hand and discarded it to the graveyard.
"Discard a card, destroy 'XYZ Divine Dragon Cannon'!"
A black cloud opened in mid-air, a hand slowly reaching out. Thunder rained from the sky, golden lightning struck the Divine Dragon Cannon, causing the mecha to explode into pieces and exit the field.
Judai: "Ah, what a pity. Such a powerful monster was summoned, the Divine Dragon Cannon..."
"No problem." Yugen said calmly, "Then I'll activate the Magic Card 'Disrupting Mandala' from my hand. Pay 1000 life points to special summon 'Ojama Green', 'Ojama Black', 'Ojama Yellow' from the graveyard." (Original Card)
This card wasn't exclusive to the animation, although it hasn't been made into a physical card, it is included in many Yu-Gi-Oh! video games such as Duel Links, and Card Power.

"I resurrected the Ojama trio I just discarded from the graveyard!"

Maze Brother: "Tch, a bunch of pesky miscellaneous monsters... "
"But summoning as many as you want is meaningless." Brother Maze said, "Using as much of a wall to block is just a waste of time..."
"Not necessarily."
Yugen smiled, slowly drawing another card from his hand.
"Don't underestimate the potential of 'miscellaneous monsters'.
Activate from the hand the Magic Card 'Disrupting Triangle Hurricane!'
When Ojama Green, Ojama Yellow, and Ojama Black are on the field, destroy all cards on the opponent's field!"
Maze Brothers: "What!?"
The cute, awkwardly adorable green, yellow, and black creatures leapt up together, and with a rather unsightly action, pushed their triangle-pants-clad butts together, then spun rapidly like a fiery wheel.
The black, green, and yellow storm blew through with thunderous momentum, sweeping over the Maze Brothers' entire field. The colossal Gate Guardian was instantly shredded into bits by the formidable hurricane, cut to pieces by countless blades.
The brothers' eyes bulged red.
"No way!"
Their strongest monster, the invincible Gate Guardian, was taken out by a bunch of Ojama in triangle pants?
And with such a taunting move...
"Then activate the Magic Card 'Horse Bone's Price'." Yugen said, "Send a monster other than an Effect Monster on your field to the graveyard and draw two cards from the deck.
I send 'Ojama Black' from the field to the graveyard and draw cards from the deck."
Speedily drawing two cards, Yugen caught sight of one of the cards in his hand and smiled slightly.
Here it is.
Yugen: "I set two cards face-down on the field, and end my turn."
At that moment, the Maze Brothers noticed the two students exchanging a glance.
Judai gave Yugen a thumbs up; Yugen smiled slightly and nodded. Then Judai seemed to receive some feedback, contentedly retracting his gaze, rubbing his nose expectantly.
The brothers suddenly had a bad premonition...
But the duel continued, and they could only temporarily suppress their doubts and the unease in their hearts.
Maze Brother: "Then it's my turn, draw a card..."
"At this moment." Yugen waved his hand, flipping over a back-row card, "Open the cover card! Trap Card 'Ojama Trio'!
Special summon three 'Ojama Derivatives' in defense mode on the opponent's field!
Go, Ojama Trio!"
The Maze Brothers' field suddenly filled with green, yellow, and black Ojama derivatives, one was snoring with its butt raised on the field, one was having tea and snacks, another was reading a newspaper.

What does this mean? Giving the opponent resources for free?
"Next is the other cover card, Trap Card 'Ojama Duo'!" Yugen's other back-row card flipped over, "Special summon two 'Ojama Derivatives' on the opponent's field!"

"Ojama Derivatives cannot be used as a tribute for Upper-level Summon." Yugen said, "And when 'Ojama Derivatives' are destroyed, each one causes 300 points of damage to the controller."
It seemed like the Maze Brothers realized something.
"Haha, I see, it's a field lockdown tactic?" Brother Maze laughed, "Indeed, if you can achieve a combination like this under normal circumstances, having all five monster zones blocked would indeed prevent the opponent from summoning monsters, it's a pretty strong tactic.
But you seem to have overlooked one thing. This is a team duel, both sides use a shared field, meaning our side has a total of ten monster zones when combined."
"Not necessarily." Yugen smiled, "Precisely because it's a team battle, borrowing the power of a teammate allows for an even more powerful shutdown than usual."
"Exactly!" Judai laughed, "Now let us show you the ultimate lockdown accomplished by our bond!
