Chapter 330 - Chapter 151: Book of Earth

"Mr. Natsuka is a superpower user?" asked Meiyu's mother, Feather Moon, as she held her daughter's hand.

As the Divine Maiden of the Divine Hall of Snow Peak, her attitude towards Natsuhiko, this young Trainer, was exceedingly friendly.

So friendly that it left Natsuhiko a bit puzzled.

In truth, he had only made a deal with Kage, exchanging a top-quality Stone of Light for this mission, which absolutely benefited him.

Anyone, upon knowing the task reward was a top-quality Stone of Light, would not refuse.

The difference lay in that some might consider abandoning the mission once they received the Stone of Light, whereas Natsuhiko did not.

But if it were just this, it wouldn't be enough to merit such a kindly attitude from the other party.

Listening to Feather Moon's question, Natsuhiko nodded straightforwardly, "Yes, although I have only recently awakened, so my control over it is quite crude."

Feather Moon was not surprised at his response.

She merely mused, "I see, no wonder Mr. Natsuka carries the aura of that great figure. I suppose the superpower must have been awakened with their divine assistance?"

That great figure?

Azelf?

According to the history carried by the Divine Hall of Snow Peak, understanding Azelf's existence is not difficult.

Azelf, representing "Will," is an existence birthed even earlier than Regigigas.

"No wonder, I was just saying," Drampa also revealed a look of sudden understanding.

"So when you say 'that great figure,' you mean Azelf?" Natsuhiko asked.

Feather Moon nodded slightly, "Yes, according to the hall's textual records, Azelf granted significant assistance to our divine being in the past."

'So, is this why they are treating me so well?' Natsuhiko thought to himself.

If this is the reason, then it all makes sense.

It turns out it was because of Azelf's influence.

After all, in terms of origin alone, Azelf ranks higher than Regigigas.

"Indeed, it was Azelf who helped me awaken my superpower," Natsuhiko admitted without concealment.

"Given that Azelf assisted Mr. Natsuka in returning Meiyu to the temple, they have certainly extended a helping hand to our hall," Feather Moon expressed gratitude, then added, "So, we will take on the task of helping Mr. Natsuka with learning and understanding superpowers."

Hearing this, a thought crossed Natsuhiko's mind.

Does the Divine Hall of Snow Peak really possess methods to enhance or strengthen the control of superpowers for users?

On this occasion, Natsuhiko did not refuse.

Feather Moon turned to Kage and Meiyu, saying, "Mr. Kage, Meiyu, please go for a rest first; I must take Mr. Natsuka somewhere."

"Alright," Kage nodded.

"Mom, Togepi brother is a good person, you know," Meiyu said earnestly, her pure eyes blinking.

Feather Moon smiled and patted her head, "Mom knows."

Natsuhiko turned his head away.

He despised the term "good person."

As the attendants led Kage and Meiyu away, Feather Moon, along with two remaining attendants, walked with Natsuhiko deeper into the hall.

A simple corridor, under the dim glow of torches, led into the unknown depths.

Halfway through, Feather Moon, who had been silent, suddenly spoke.

"Mr. Natsuka, at this moment there are some people outside the temple with malicious intent, right?"

Natsuhiko raised an eyebrow, countering, "Since you know, why haven't you sought help from the alliance?"

Feather Moon's expression turned somewhat complex, and she sighed lightly, "Because, in the end, this is a private matter for the temple."

"You mean the people eyeing the Divine Hall of Snow Peak are part of the Hunter Guild, and the leader was once from the hall?" Natsuhiko asked, surprised.

Feather Moon lowered her eyes.

"Precisely, it's those remnants of the conservative faction."

"I see..."

"Meiyu is to be the next Divine Maiden; they aim to capture her to threaten me," Feather Moon understood the guild's intentions.

"For Regigigas?"

Upon hearing Natsuhiko directly mention Regigigas's name, Feather Moon paused slightly before finally responding, "Yes."

"They sure have some ideas."

The two did not delve further into this topic but instead discussed the Pokemon Realm and the current situation in the Sinnoh Region, as Feather Moon asked Natsuhiko many questions.

The Divine Hall of Snow Peak genuinely intends to connect with the alliance, gradually integrating into modern society.

Raised outside, Meiyu becoming the next Divine Maiden would likely not reject the outside world, and might even blend more harmoniously.

It's uncertain if this is indeed the arrangement of the Divine Maiden before him.

If so, she truly is a very bold leader, a reformer.

In fact, there are many organizations like the Divine Hall of Snow Peak, gradually accepting and integrating into the alliance over time and development.

As Natsuhiko knows, in the Sinnoh Region, there are ancient forces like the "Lucario Kingdom" increasingly embracing the alliance, and in the Kalos Region, there is the mysterious Azot Kingdom that inherited mystical science and utilized it to create Magearna.

Even in the Hoenn Region, within Meteor Falls, the "Meteor People" of "Meteor Village."

They all follow this pattern.

Historical relics of great value, as well as examples slowly adapting to the times and merging with the alliance.

Yet, looking at the current situation, the Divine Hall of Snow Peak seems to be acting relatively early.

Perhaps due to the pressure from the Hunter Guild and their own declining strength.

"Here we are."

Passing through the long corridor, they arrived at the deepest point of the Divine Hall of Snow Peak.

Upon entering.

It was a space not particularly large, and unlike the smooth construction of the hall entrance, there were rugged exposed rock walls and stalactites, and the uneven ground barely revealed a few paths.

"This is..."

Natsuhiko gazed inside, where in the center of the cave stood three differently colored and material pillars, namely the Ice Pillar, Rock Pillar, and Steel Pillar!

And at the center of these three columns, inside a depression, lay a stone radiating a faint milky-white glow, about the size of a washbasin.

The site of the Regi Trio and Regigigas's slumber!

Feather Moon walked in with Natsuhiko, as two attendants remained outside.

Leading Natsuhiko to the light stone where the Regi Trio and Regigigas slept.

Feather Moon's eyes showed a faint milky-white glow, complementing the light stone of Regigigas's slumber.

'Is this the ability that Drampa mentioned, enabling every generation of Divine Maiden to communicate with Regigigas?'

Yet another ability beyond the Power of the Eternal Plate, Wave Guide Power, and Super Overcoming Power.

'However, this feels similar to, or rather, very much like superpower, and its essence might be the same as Furong's evolved superpower, where Furong's ability targets Ghost-type Pokémon and Feather Moon's might target General Type.'

This was Natsuhiko's speculation.

Then Feather Moon gently waved her palm.

A colossal, ethereal book matched to human height appeared before them.

As she softly flicked her fingers, the enormous book opened, pages inscribed with ancient text.

Noticing Natsuhiko's surprise, Feather Moon explained, "This is the 'Book of Earth,' the most valuable treasure left to us by our divine being. It contains many historical records, including ones on superpower users, though they are ancient methods, yet applicable for superpower users."

Natsuhiko felt his latent superpower begin to stir within him.

Unconsciously, he stepped forward, gradually extending his hand.

Under Feather Moon's curious gaze, an impressive demonstration occurred as the superpower extending from Natsuhiko's hand surprisingly touched the "Book of Earth" she referred to.

No one noticed the "Will Treasure Pearl" carried by Natsuhiko glowing faintly red.

And at the instant of touching the "Book of Earth,"

Natsuhiko's vision started to change.
