"Then let's take on the mission to eradicate the mountain bandits in Sanshui Town," Mokgetsu thought and said.
He had looked at the map of the Land of Rivers; compared to the capital, Sanshui Town was closer to the Land of Wind, so the chances of encountering opportunities were greater.
The registrar ninja quickly completed the paperwork and handed a paper to Mokgetsu.
"It's the same country as our last mission," Obito said curiously, leaning over to take a look.
"What's the matter? Don't you like the Land of Rivers?" Mokgetsu asked, as he put away the documents.
Obito scratched his head with his right hand, then replied:
"I wouldn't say I dislike it, but the town mayor from the last mission left a really bad impression on me. But I think such bad people are rare."
The last town mayor really disgusted Obito. He couldn't understand why people had to be so bad. Wouldn't it be better if everyone got along well?
"Such people deserve the iron fist of youthful justice," Might Guy also remembered the town mayor from the last mission, realizing for the first time how bad a person could be.
He thought those who mocked his father were already excessive, but compared to what the town mayor did, it was nothing.
"Disliking such people is normal. I don't like them either," Mokgetsu laughed, patting the heads of the two as he led the disciples out of the Hokage Building.
There was one thing he didn't say: that there are definitely many such people in this world; after all, it is a feudal system.
The reason why Obito felt such people were rare was because he grew up in Konoha. Konoha's superior status and harmonious atmosphere led Obito to have this illusion.
"Does anyone need to go back and grab something? If so, hurry up; we'll depart directly afterward," Mokgetsu inquired.
The three disciples shook their heads since Mokgetsu had reminded them yesterday, so they had already packed their things before coming.
"Then let's set off now, the sooner we complete the mission, the sooner we'll return," Mokgetsu said directly.
"Is there no client this time?" Obito asked curiously.
"Missions always have clients, but the client isn't in Konoha; they're in the Land of Rivers," Mokgetsu replied.
Except for escort missions where the client is definitely in Konoha, for other missions, the client doesn't need to always be in Konoha, just as long as the remuneration is in place.
Mokgetsu thought this was pretty good since having a client would slow down their traveling speed, and without a client, they could hurry along quickly.
"Let's set off, let's set off. I'm really looking forward to it, wondering what kind of enemy we'll encounter. Hopefully, we won't bump into any Raikage or Tsuchikage, just kidding."
For the third time doing a mission, Obito started fantasizing about the enemies they might face on this mission.
Kakashi twitched his mouth, feeling a bit strained. They were going to eradicate mountain bandits, not to Hidden Cloud Village or Hidden Rock Village to face the Raikage and Tsuchikage, let alone encounter the Six Paths Sage.
"Even in dreams, try to be a bit more reasonable. We're supposed to deal with mountain bandits, not a ninja village," Kakashi couldn't help saying.
"Why be reasonable in dreams? I was just joking. Although the mission is to fight mountain bandits, encountering a ninja is quite normal, isn't it? Last time it was driving away fierce beasts, yet we still encountered ninjas," Obito retorted.
Obito's answer left Kakashi speechless. It's not normal at all for a C-Class Mission to encounter ninjas.
However, considering that both of Obito's C-Class Missions encountered unexpected events, it's not surprising he has this thought.
"Once you complete this mission, you'll understand. The last two times we were just unlucky, it's impossible for ninjas to appear again this time," Kakashi said.
He felt that even if they were unlucky, encountering unexpected events in two consecutive C-Class Missions should be the end of it.
"My friends, don't speak too soon. Teacher Mokgetsu said it's wartime, making accidents more likely," Might Guy said, stroking his chin.
Might Guy had the same thought as Obito, feeling encountering ninjas during missions was normal.
Kakashi didn't say anything; he thought it was only because Obito and Might Guy had done too few missions, giving them this illusion. Before joining Mokgetsu Squad, he completed dozens of C-Class Missions without a single accident.
"Let's hurry up. Before leaving the Land of Fire, everyone uses their breathing technique to hurry. If you can use Full Concentration Breathing, then use Full Concentration Breathing," Mokgetsu smiled and said.
To Mokgetsu, doing C-Class Missions was actually just moving training for his disciples to a different location, with the necessary training not being skipped.
"Kakashi, how about a race to see who runs faster and farther?" Obito challenged, feeling quite confident since his Full Concentration Breathing was the strongest among the disciples, and Kakashi had just learned the Breathing Technique not long ago.
"Not interested," Kakashi replied indifferently, seeing through Obito's little scheme at a glance.
"The fiery youth should compete more. Obito, I'll race you!" Might Guy said enthusiastically.
"Teacher Mokgetsu, can you be our referee?" Obito accepted and asked Mokgetsu.
Although Kakashi wasn't drawn in, Might Guy had beaten Kakashi in an earlier battle, so winning against Might Guy was roughly equivalent to defeating Kakashi.
In fact, Obito had wanted to spar in an actual combat practice with Kakashi a few days ago, but Mokgetsu had just started teaching Constant State, so Obito decided to complete the new training and become stronger before challenging Kakashi. Now, he's not a hundred percent confident in defeating Kakashi.
Mokgetsu smiled and nodded, then shouted, "Ready, three, two, one, go!"
"Breath of Rock, Full Concentration Breathing!"
"Breath of Flame, Full Concentration Breathing!"
Obito and Might Guy instantly went full throttle, dashing forward like cannonballs.
Although Kakashi didn't participate in the race, he silently used the Breathing Technique to run at full speed.
Obito took the lead slightly at the start but was soon surpassed by Might Guy, leaving him behind.
"Oh no, I forgot that Guy's Breath of Rock enhances the body much more," watching Might Guy pulling farther away, Obito then remembered that Breath of Rock and Breath of Flame were different.
However, aiming to win, Obito gave it his all, entering his usual training state of Constant State to pursue.
"I must hasten to learn Breath of Thunder, can't fall too far behind," Kakashi thought, watching the two running.
Though beaten by Might Guy once, Kakashi didn't want to be defeated constantly.
"Whew, big mistake. Next time I should compete with Guy in Fire Release," Obito panted heavily.
Despite trying hard, he couldn't catch up with Might Guy's much greater endurance.
"That might take a long time then, because I don't know Fire Release at all yet," Might Guy laughed and responded.
If he were to compete in Fire Release, he would have to learn it first, but currently, none of the techniques he mastered were related to fire.
Once they left the Land of Fire, Mokgetsu paused this extreme training. Though his strength could cover almost all situations, it's still better to be cautious.
