Pyramid of Light, activate!

It seemed that the activation of the Pyramid of Light also signaled the release of Anubis's true power, which had been sealed!
"While the 'Pyramid of Light' is on the field," Anubis intoned in a deep voice, "these two powerful monsters can be summoned directly.

As his voice fell, two cards flew out directly from Anubis's floating card deck beside him, showing clearly that while the Pyramid of Light was present, these two monsters could be specially summoned from the deck via animation effect.
Actually, Anubis was already being considerate here, summoning them as a special summon from the deck. In the animation, when Anubis played against the King, these two creatures forcibly intruded into the match from outside the deck...
The first to appear was Andro Sphinx. It was a lion-faced humanoid monster with a masculine build, robust muscles, and blue armor, but it bore a lion's face.
It had a golden mane, sharp fangs in its mouth, wrapped with mucus, and was emanating a foul breath.
Beside it was a female figure with red hair and seemingly lovely face—but only just the face. Her body was a reptilian creature with white wings, and her neck had a substantial silver chain.
With a human face and beast body, this was Sphinx Teleia, another monster summoned by the power of the Pyramid of Light.

Neither of these two could be overpowered by the attack strength of Masked Hero: Mist Water.
"Then battle recall, my attack is canceled." Youyu pulled a card from his hand, "Set one card, end turn."

Go, Andro, make that blue warrior your meal!"
Andro roared, charging forward with a mighty leap. He opened his bloodthirsty maw, and his thick arms swiped across.
Mist Water attempted to defend, but could not match the opponent's strength, was knocked back and fell to the ground, and the sharp, mucus-covered fangs lunged toward his shoulder.
"Activate Set Card!" Youyu's Set Card flipped open, "Trap Card - Impenetrable Attack! This card allows choosing to make battle damage this turn zero, or make one monster not be destroyed by battle.
I choose 'Masked Hero: Mist Water', it won't be destroyed by battle this turn!"
Anubis chuckled dismissively, "But you still must endure the damage personally."
The Trap's power provided an invisible shield to Masked Hero, barely withstanding the assault of the lion-faced man. Yet the aftermath of the opponent's power still reached Youyu, causing his body to tremble slightly.

Poor Mist Water barely steadied himself before facing the leaping monstrous charge. Teleia's forefeet slammed him down, her full weight crashing onto Mist Water. Her delicate face morphed rapidly; her cherry lips turned into a gaping maw full of sharp teeth, bloodied and terrifying, pulling her facial muscles into a grotesque form.
Still, with the protection of the Trap Card, Mist Water survived this round.

The battle ended, the mythical creatures returned to Anubis's field. The pitiful Masked Hero wobbled as he stood up, almost falling once from weakness.
Mist Water panted heavily, numerous battle scars appearing on his blue-and-white armor.
These two mythical beasts sealed within the Pyramid of Light, regardless of attack power or effects, were evidently filled with strength surpassing ordinary monsters.
It was arduous for Mist Water to battle against these two creatures simultaneously, and he seemed to be somewhat exhausted.
But he braced his knees and struggled to stand once more.
Much like an indomitable knight.
