Naoki was always the type to act on his word immediately.
The moment he returned to the farm, he put his hands to work, crafting a simple shrine out of leftover wooden boards and nails from the utility room.
He molded a clay figure of a big rabbit with a crown on its head, resembling a cauliflower a bit.
Once the clay dried, Naoki placed the "clay rabbit" in the shrine and set it at the back of the shipping crates, in the fenced-off clearing.
Surprisingly, it looked quite the part.
"All done!"
Naoki looked at everything with satisfaction.
Lastly, he brought a few Pokémon and made a formal offering, "Calyrex! Please bless my farm with favorable weather and abundant harvests this coming summer!"
With the thought, "Why not believe just a little since it doesn't cost anything," Naoki went to get two Berries to serve as offerings in front of the shrine.
After doing all this, Naoki began to recall which Legendary Pokémon in the realm of legendary beasts were as approachable as Calyrex.
Mewtwo of Kanto.
Ho-oh and Lugia of Johto.
Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza of Hoenn.
Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Arceus, and Regigigas of Sinnoh.
Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem of Unova.
Zygarde, Xerneas, and Yveltal of Kalos.
Lunala, Solgaleo, Necrozma, and the four Tapu of Alola.
The Sword and Shield duo, and Eternatus of the Galar Region.
If there were any, Naoki wouldn't mind placing his faith in them too.
However, unfortunately, all these Legendary Pokémon don't rely on the Power of Faith, and their elevated status and background mean they don't need believers.
Compared to them, Calyrex appears closer and more approachable.
Who among Pokémon players hasn't dreamt about legendary beasts?
He hoped that Calyrex would see everything he did and become more fond of him because of it.
So that when he travels to the Galar Region someday, Calyrex might appear before this "devout" follower of his own accord.
Today is March 25th, with only six days left until the official start of the hot summer season.
The change of season is usually the busiest time, so Naoki planned to take advantage of these few free days to rest and conserve energy for the tasks ahead.

This familiar feeling reminded Calyrex of the sudden appearance of a human believer last time.
"Let's see what that believer has done this time,"
Calyrex focused its attention.
Peering through the vast distances of time and space, it once again saw that believer, the only human believer it had in this world.
In a space that seemed like an illusion, Calyrex saw that human crafting a shrine and an idol with their own hands, worshiping with several Pokémon in front of the shrine.
"... Oh King! Please bless my farm with favorable weather and abundant harvests this coming summer!"
Seeing the human in the image and the Berries placed before the shrine, Calyrex was deeply moved.
It's been a long time.
It had been a long time since it had seen such a human.
Even the most devout followers in the past had done no more than this, right?
"This human is truly devout to me!" Calyrex thought, feeling touched.
In the past, it would have waved both hands without hesitation to fulfill the wishes of this devout believer and his Pokémon.
Making their farm bloom with flowers, grass lush and green, fields fertile, and crops bountiful.
But now...
The Power of Faith within it was too weak, far from sufficient to fulfill that little follower's wishes.
"I'm sorry." Calyrex, powerless, was filled with apology in its heart.
Not only had it lost belief, its power weakened, even its two beloved horses had left it.
If only that believer was in the Galar Region, Calyrex wished.
It would ask for help in planting a special kind of carrot to attract those two steeds.
Because besides power from human faith, it had another way to restore power.
That was to reunite with Glastrier and Spectrier, then combine with them using the Reins of Unity to regain strength within its body.
However, unfortunately, Calyrex sensed that the believer was currently in a place outside the Galar Region.

The next evening, Zack came driving his large truck to pick up goods as usual.
Seeing him arrive while grooming his Gogoat, Naoki quickly got up to move the goat milk he planned to sell today.
Zack was weighing the goat milk when he noticed the peculiarly shaped shrine behind the shipping crates, and asked:
"Hey? What's that?"
Naoki explained, "That's a shrine I made by hand, dedicated to a very powerful Pokémon."
Hearing this, Zack was immediately intrigued, "Oh? What kind of Pokémon? Is it that crowned bunny over there?"
What the heck, a crowned bunny!
Zack was from Paldea and was understandably unfamiliar with the legends of the Galar Region.
Naoki organized his thoughts and introduced, "That is a Pokémon named Calyrex."
"Calyrex?" Zack had never heard of this name before.
"Yes." Naoki nodded and continued, "In the Galar Region, there's a story about Calyrex, said to have once ruled the Galar in ancient times and was known as the King of Bountiful Harvests."
"Though small and delicate in appearance, Calyrex possesses great wisdom, able to see all things past, present, and future."
"Moreover, it has the power to heal hearts and make plants sprout, and it is said that when it raises its right hand, flowers bloom, and grass grows, and if it waves its left hand, the fields become fertile and crops flourish."
"For this reason, Calyrex was also known as The King of Bountiful Harvests in the past, a Pokémon full of compassion."
Zack understood.
His eyes widened in surprise as he asked, "Such a Pokémon exists? Wouldn't it be perfect for farms?"
"Exactly." Naoki responded, "Calyrex used its power in ancient times to help humanity, ensuring their crops were plentiful and sparing them from hunger."
Saying this, Naoki suddenly felt as though he had turned into a missionary for Calyrex...
After some quick thought, he dismissed this strange idea and nodded to Zack, saying, "That's it."
