By the time he arrived, the plaza was already crowded with many townsfolk and nearby ranchers.
Ribbons and banners were hung at the plaza entrance, with the words "Spring Cow and Sheep Competition" written on the banner.
Judges' tables were set up in the plaza, looking very official.
