Porto Marinada Town is a very laid-back seaside town.
There are no Gyms here, so the number of Trainers visiting is far less than in big cities like Levincia City and Glaseado City.
Because of this, Miss Joy in Porto Marinada Town is not very busy with work every day.
When Naoki arrived, Miss Joy was on a long-distance call with her sister in Zapapico Town.
Seeing a Trainer visit, Joy immediately put down the phone and got into work mode, her voice gentle and soft:
"Hello, is there anything I can help you with?"
Naoki stated the purpose of his visit: "Hello, Miss Joy, I'm a rancher from a nearby ranch. Lately, the Pokemon I'm raising have become overweight. I'm worried it might affect their health, so I'd like to seek some advice on this matter."
"Overweight..." Joy thought carefully for a moment, then asked, "What kind of Pokemon is it?"
"Skiddo."
"I can't make a judgment in advance on such matters. We'll need to perform further health checks on the Pokemon before I can give an answer," Miss Joy explained.
"I see..." Naoki thought he should have brought the Skiddo for a check-up.
With possibly a large number of Pokemon at the ranch, Miss Joy figured he didn't bring the Skiddo because there were too many of them.
She thought for a moment and smiled, saying, "If it's inconvenient for you to bring them to the Pokemon Center, I can go to the ranch to help with the examination."
Right now, there wasn't much work at the Pokemon Center, so she had time to go there and take a look.

Isn't Miss Joy not supposed to leave the Pokemon Center?

The two soon arrived at the ranch.
Walking along the stone path, Miss Joy glanced at the Dragonite practicing Rain Dance beside the fields, the Alcremie running on the grass, and the Koraidon waiting at the front. She couldn't help but show a surprised expression.
"This place... is so lively! Are all these your Pokemon?"
"Yes." Naoki smiled, "Not long ago I inherited this ranch. Some of these Pokemon were gifted, some I caught in the wild, and others were bought at town's ranch."
"That one too?" Miss Joy looked at Koraidon.
Having worked at the Pokemon Center for so long, she'd never seen a Trainer have this Pokemon.
Following her gaze, Naoki looked at the Koraidon walking toward him.
Its current demeanor was just like a big dog wagging its tail to welcome its owner home.
Naoki reached out and patted its head, muttering, "To be honest, I don't know its origin either. I encountered it at the ranch, maybe it came from a faraway place?"
"I see." Miss Joy nodded, not asking further.
Following Naoki's lead, she saw the three plump Skiddo lying on the grass.
"It's these three, right?"
Naoki nodded, signaling to the Skiddo, and they got up and ran over.
Naoki introduced to them, "This is Miss Joy, and she'll help you with the health check. You need to behave well, alright?"

The three Skiddo looked curiously at Miss Joy with their big, round eyes.
Miss Joy chuckled softly, "They are so obedient!"
With that, she knelt down, opened the medical kit, and took out various examination tools.
"Alright, alright, we'll be done soon!" First, Joy soothed the Skiddo's emotions, then began the formal check-up.
"Hmm, normal heartbeat, normal breathing rate, smooth fur, huh? What's this?"

Naoki tensed up, "Is it harmful to them?"

"But if the energy exceeds the Pokemon's capacity, it can cause a series of problems like high fever, anorexia, colds, and in severe cases, the Pokemon's body will grow weaker."

Soon, green light radiated from them, transforming into countless blades of grass swaying gently on the ground.
In this grassy terrain, the Skiddo began their daily disco routine.
The lush Vine Whip swung around, sharp Razor Leaf swooshed through the air, and the thick Solar Beam shot into the sky.
The three energetic Skiddo carried Leaf Blade in their mouths, running back and forth on the grass.

How can the Grassy Terrain cover such a vast area?
Is that the grass-type move Leaf Blade? But why is it in their mouths?!
She widened her eyes, so shocked that she was at a loss for words.
