Chapter 277 - Chapter 114: He'll Kill Us! Unexpected Revelation!

"Cunning! So cunning!"

Ian's exclamation came from the heart.

Only Daphne Greengrass and her close friends were clearly a bit confused, but that didn't stop Daphne Greengrass from attempting to hand everything over to Ian in exchange for his forgiveness.

"I already said I'm not the type who likes bullying girls." Ian stuffed a bunch of counterfeit goods and the money bag back into Daphne Greengrass's hands.

Looking at the little witch who seemed a bit at a loss, Ian seriously advised, "Remember to write to your family and urge them to improve their efficiency."

"And your family too."

Ian also glanced at the little witch being held back by Daphne Greengrass; he remembered that she was shivering along with Daphne Greengrass back then.

"Okay... alright."

Stared at by Ian, the Slytherin little witch immediately nodded like a pecking chicken, while Daphne Greengrass's expression looked relieved yet somewhat complex.

He claimed not to bully girls, but he bullies the young, then encourages Dumbledore to bully the old; her family was almost driven mad by Dumbledore's threats!

"Don't waste money anymore, your family didn't give you much." Ian advised a few words as he ran into the hall, not to show how much he cared about his classmates; he merely hoped that when he sprung some relics of Merlin in a few days, the heirs of these wealthy pure-blood families would still have the purchasing power.

Aurora earned too much!

Ian felt it was time for him to earn something!

"Did he really let us go?"

Watching Ian sit down at the table in the hall and start eating, two Slytherin girls didn't dare step inside, while another pure-blood family girl still harbored some inner fear.

"I don't know... maybe? Gesha Selwen, can you stop shaking!"

Daphne Greengrass was pondering whether Ian's previous words contained any hidden hints; as descendants of pure-blood families, they liked to contemplate these things.

"You're shaking too! I almost thought he would directly kill us!" Even the pure-blood girl Gesha Selwen, a year senior to Ian and Daphne, showed an expression of dread.

"It's outside the hall, there are so many professors inside, he wouldn't dare, would he?" Daphne Greengrass's tone surprisingly carried a hint of uncertainty.

While Gesha Selwen's view was quite certain, "I think the professors would help him bury us and cast Obliviate on all witnesses!"

"Our parents will only hear about us violating the bans and getting caught by Centaurs to be cooked for dinner! Don't forget Aflisson Carlo's fate!"

"You must still remember the Night of the Fire Ash Snake, right? At that time, so many people stayed together in the hall, but after Aflisson Carlo went out, he alone vanished!" Gesha Selwen's voice was very agitated, her emotions strong, but she still knew to lower her voice when discussing these matters.

To avoid being overheard by Ian in the hall, the two girls had already moved away, hungry, to sit by the window in the downpour outside.

This was probably to ease the trembling of their legs. One can't blame these two girls for reacting this way toward Ian; what they were discussing was the main reason for their fear of him.

Not just because Ian defeated an excellent senior wizard.

"The school told us Aflisson Carlo dropped out due to family issues, but we know, we know Aflisson Carlo vanished into thin air at Hogwarts!"

"His family doesn't even dare speak of it, nor seek justice for their child. I bet that must be Dumbledore covering for that evil Ravenclaw!"

"He must have killed Aflisson Carlo! Just because Aflisson Carlo cursed him a few times in the common room!" Gesha Selwen seemed very convinced of her theory.

Daphne Greengrass remained silent, but her increasingly anxious expression suggested she, too, believed Gesha Selwen's claim.

Dumbledore could threaten several pure-blood families for one child, even using Gringotts to establish authority; how could she not believe he might cover up Ian's murder crimes?

"He definitely isn't from the Prince Clan! He's surely another Dumbledore!" Gesha Selwen said with certainty, feeling that only this way could explain many situations. With extraordinary talent and a history of wrongdoing, yet not treated as a potential Dark Wizard, can this still be Hogwarts's usual unfolding?

The principal at the time saw that guy cast the Killing Curse!

And what happened?

The next day, he was still alive and kicking at school! Isn't this naked sheltering? Aflisson Carlo's death and the Gringotts heist.

There were already disturbing rumors circulating among the Slytherins.

"He should indeed be a descendant of the Prince Clan; don't tell anyone, I overheard Snape scolding someone, maybe he also carries Dumbledore family blood." Daphne Greengrass felt the most troublesome part was here; if Ian had been so candid when confronting her on the boat, how could she have spoken out offensively?

She would have hurried to curry favor!
