Elder Entity N'tss is a Fusion Monster from the "Cthulhu Mythos" series, following Elder Entity Norden. Although it's a Fusion Monster from the Cthulhu series, it is only a LV 4, but it boasts an impressive 2500 ATK.
As a Fusion Monster, it has two effects. The former allows you to Special Summon 1 LV 4 Monster from your hand once per turn. The latter triggers when this card is sent to the Graveyard, allowing you to target and destroy one card on the field.
Unfortunately, Tenjo Hikari's current Deck has no way to Fusion or Special Summon this Monster.
Perhaps it will remain impossible in the future.
Because its summoning method is to send your Synchro Monsters and Xyz Monsters on the field to the Graveyard to Special Summon it.
Therefore, in most cases, the real application of this card is to send it directly from the Extra Deck to the Graveyard, then activate its second effect to destroy an opponent's card as a destruction card.
Even though Tenjo Hikari currently has no way to directly summon this Monster, it doesn't really matter to Tenjo Hikari.
If worse comes to worst, finding a way to send it to the Graveyard to use as a bomb card is quite good too.
After all, there are such cards in Tenjo Hikari's Deck.
If by chance the Fusion Defense dumps it into the Graveyard, wouldn't that be a huge gain?
Of course, it's still a bit challenging at present. If in the future there's a chance to contact Ah Lai, you could utilize the "Magistus" series approach. There's always a chance to use it.
Moreover, even disregarding Elder Entity N'tss, the 30 Fusion Monsters given by the Magical Scientist are filled with many worthwhile cards.
For instance, in the endgame, Pair Cycroid and Dark Balter the Terrible, both of these cards are quite excellent Fusion Monsters.
Especially Pair Cycroid!
Upon seeing this card, Tenjo Hikari felt as if the whole world was lit up.
Although it's a Roid series Monster Card, once this card was added to Tenjo Hikari's Deck, it immediately became the card with the simplest Fusion Conditions in Tenjo Hikari's Deck!
Just two Machine-Types!
Even though it only has 1600 ATK, it can attack directly, and after attacking, you can use Metamorphosis to transform it into a Dark Balter the Terrible. Utilizing Dark Balter's effect to pay 1000 Life Points to negate Normal Spell Cards can exert some pressure during the opponent's turn, which is actually quite nice.
"Truly an excellent human Warrior." The Magical Scientist clapped his hands continuously, then arranged for a few Spirits to give Tenjo Hikari several boxes of cup noodles that Midrash seemed to like.
Tenjo Hikari glanced at Tierra, who nodded madly in approval before playfully floating behind Tenjo Hikari, telling the Magical Scientist to quickly reboot the system as she wanted to play as well.
The Magical Scientist didn't mind, restarted the equipment, and let Tierra start to operate.
Watching Tierra enthusiastically figuring out how to defeat the opponent, Tenjo Hikari shrugged, sat down with the Magical Scientist, and started chatting.
Truthfully, the Magical Scientist initially had no intention of leaving the Secret Village of the Spellcasters, but Tierra's words made him rethink.
However, since he has so many researchers and employees' Spirits under him, as the Director of the institute, he couldn't make a decision lightly.
So, he simply shared his initial idea with Tenjo Hikari.
Card exchange.
Hearing this, Tenjo Hikari was quite surprised.
Up until now, the Spirits he encountered either shared their power or directly turned into cards to follow him, and no one ever mentioned anything about "swapping cards."
After all, Yu Gi Oh is a trading card game, so it's quite normal for someone to want to exchange cards.
For example, Tenjo Hikari had once exchanged Cyber Dragon with Marufuji Ryo using Cybernetic Revolution.
But thinking back to the Magical Scientist offering to exchange thirty fusion monsters in one go, Tenjo Hikari was at ease.
Indeed, this Magical Scientist is clearly a Spirit who specializes in collecting cards for various experiments, so collecting cards is quite normal for him.
The Magical Scientist showed Tenjo Hikari his collection and list, and as Tenjo Hikari browsed through it from top to bottom, he saw everything from Kozaky to some powerful Monsters. Some Fusion Monsters had already been given to Tenjo Hikari as "prizes," marked as out of stock, like the extremely rare Elder Entity N'tss, of which the Magical Scientist couldn't produce a second.
Conversely, he had quite a few Normal Monsters like Sun Flame Bird, Vermilion Bird, and Flame Swordsman, which didn't have much effect and lacked significant Attack.
Tenjo Hikari exchanged a few extra Fusion Spells with the Magical Scientist, receiving a Flame Sword and two Black Flames from him.
He himself wouldn't exchange his Monster Cards with others. On one hand, in this world, Spirits actually exist, so he needs to respect Monster Cards. At least he needs to trust the other party. On the other hand, as a person with plenty of experience, he also needs to be prepared, not discarding a Monster just because it doesn't have immediate use.
You know, even a LV 1 Monster Card like "Fabled Lurrie," which hasn't been used by many people in years, can suddenly become one of the most common side monsters in the meta because of its "Light Attribute Fiend-Type LV 1 Monster" stats under a newly emerged series.
Any of his Monster Cards might suddenly become an important chain relay station one day, so he's not going to lose them.
What's more, he has a lot of duplicate Fusion Spells and Trap Cards, which are much more "valuable" to a Magical Scientist than some Fusion Monsters he may have seen or even owns.
As for why he specifically replenished Flame Sword and Black Flame, that's purely for precaution.
Although they haven't evolved yet, if they were to evolve later on and lack their original form, Tenjo Hikari would have to reacquire them, which would be quite troublesome. So it's better to prepare early and prevent just in case.
"Hey, Tenjo Hikari, how should I operate here, quickly tell me!"
After Tenjo Hikari chatted with the Magical Scientist sufficiently and talked about bringing his extra Fusion Cards to exchange with the Magical Scientist next time, Tierra was already feeling a bit impatient.
She seemed to have reached the endgame with "The Last Warrior from Another Planet," getting frustrated with not being able to Summon·Flip Summon·Special Summon due to its effect, and quickly called out to Tenjo Hikari.
Tenjo Hikari found it amusing, shook his head, and walked over slowly while explaining to her, "You can Set a Monster and then use Compulsory Evacuation Device to change the situation."
"Huh? You can Set a Monster?" Tierra looked surprised and repeatedly said, "Alright, I got it, this is way too easy — so that's the use of Setting a Monster, no wonder I was wondering if you can Summon a Monster in Defense Position, what's the use of setting then, so that's it."
This world is so unique.
Tenjo Hikari shrugged his shoulders.
Normally, a Monster Normal Summon is in Attack Position; Defense Position like Alester is way too powerful.
Tenjo Hikari and Tierra played the endgame with the Magical Scientist for a while, and Tierra quite enjoyed it. They only bid goodbye to the Magical Scientist when Mitsuzawa Daichi called Tenjo Hikari, indicating it was time to return to school.
"Well then, farewell, Mr. Magical Scientist."
"Make more interesting games, huh!"
The Magical Scientist chuckled twice, repeatedly saying okay, like a kind old grandpa, and then casually told Tenjo Hikari that he would also collect Fusion Monster Cards. Next time when he visits, there might be something new, so he can look forward to it.
Tenjo Hikari really was looking forward to it because currently, the Magical Scientist was the biggest booster for his Extra Deck, providing thirty different Fusion Monsters, which gave Tenjo Hikari quite a range of choices. It's only fair to say he's not called the second strongest Monster in history for nothing, deserving the reputation of a card that lets you keep Summoning Fusion Monsters from the Extra Deck for 1000 Life Points, being so generous with Fusion Monsters.
Tenjo Hikari wobbled out the door with a few boxes of cup noodles. Tierra glanced at him, noticing he could hardly stand steady, and with a wave of her hand, several purple Puppet Strings appeared out of nowhere, binding the boxes in mid-air, allowing Tenjo Hikari to easily meet up with Mitsuzawa Daichi.
Once they met, they exchanged glances and saw the satisfaction in each other's eyes.
This journey to another dimension was not dangerous and quite rewarding. For both of them, it was a great thing!
For Tenjo Hikari, it filled the gaps in his Extra Deck. As for Mitsuzawa Daichi, the Mathematician followed him, alleviating the long-standing criticism of "low Spirit Power" greatly. It was a timely solution that naturally made him very happy.
In fact, after his exchange with the Mathematician today, he had completely decided on the direction for his next deck, preparing to give Tenjo Hikari a hard time this semester.
"Hahaha, it seems interesting, Umi!"
"Hmm, just wait. I'm aiming for first place this semester."
"Hehehe, then you'll need to beat Manjome first, the third~"
Laughing and chatting, the two returned to the Dimension Gate, easily returned to the Human World, and for the first time, they felt traveling to another dimension was quite relaxing, only to notice the school's students running around like crazy.
"What's wrong?" "What's happening?" The boxes beside Tenjo Hikari slowly descended from the air, stacking firmly together. Mitsuzawa Daichi shouted but realized the student completely ignored him, so he dejectedly lowered his hand.
"Hahaha!" Tenjo Hikari couldn't help but laugh twice at him, causing Mitsuzawa Daichi's face to turn red.
Due to Mitsuzawa Daichi's lack of presence, he's always been easily overlooked. This time he was ignored even when he actively called out, leaving him both amused and slightly pitiful. Seeing a classmate from the Fusion Department, he stopped teasing Mitsuzawa and shouted, "Hyodo-san, what happened?!"
"Ah! Brother Hikari!" The student saw Tenjo Hikari and was momentarily stunned, then quickly shouted, "Brother Hikari, you should hurry back to the department and find a TV! It's all over the place!
Mr. Kaiba has discovered a new dimension with humans, temporarily called the S Dimension!"
S Dimension!?
Tenjo Hikari and Mitsuzawa Daichi exchanged glances and saw each other's surprise.
No wonder!
Is it really another third-kind encounter again!
