The exciting moment of launch has arrived again.
Thank you all for your support, thank you to the big names for the rewards, thank you to all who have been following along, and thank the giant stars who have given me chapter recommendations.
Let's talk about the thought process. The main reason for writing this book is to try out the genre of dark literature (semi-realism), a rather special subject in Pokémon fan creation.
After all, experiencing it in full makes the Pokémon feel incomplete.
But actually, I find it hard to adapt to this style. Even in previous writing, I can't help but throw in things like this.
Writing fully versus writing sparingly is always different.
Of course, it's not that I can't continue writing, but rather I hope the Pokémon World is a beautiful world.
Some things are too realistic and don't fit my fantasies of it.
Therefore.
For the background of this book, I specifically selected a Side Story Region far from the main continent. One reason is that this region is suitable for additional settings.
On the other hand, the region is desolate enough to accommodate the evil in the Pokémon World.
In the main series, there often appears the profession of Pokémon Hunter, but we basically only see them capturing Pokémon, not selling them.
I mean hunters who want Arbok and Koffing; Hunter J belongs to the high-end specified type.
I know there must be many channels for selling, just feel there is great space for additional settings.
Ore just needs external imports, so it's convenient to make you the Pokémon poaching dumping ground.
Far away from the Main Series Regions, whether an alliance exists is very vague, creating a special place.
And aside from this region of Pokémon evil, other places are naturally "immaculate."
Although everyone seems obsessed with the alliance's corruption, only the direct line can emerge, Officer Jenny and the Joy Clan monopolizing things through deduction resulting in additional settings.
However, I am really not interested in depicting these two beautiful sisters showing the feudal face of a large family.
Even in the animation, there are enough villains; let these two maintain their steadfast positions of justice.
Forget the black and white distinction; the exquisite grey is set aside to keep it simple.
As for the depiction of villains and bad guys… having seen the animation's various villains, I think it should approach that level.
Speaking of mindless, some villains in the animation are far more mindless, such as Charmander's original Trainer who is like a spoiled child.
As this book is an animation background fan creation, this kind of portrayal is appropriate—although I still furnish them with basic logic.
Every disgusting action is either for dignity or for profit; simply put, it's about Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
Alright, enough nonsense.
The book will be launched tomorrow at noon, starting with five chapters, at least ten thousand words.
The goal is one thousand initial subscriptions, adding one more chapter for every hundred subscriptions, one more for every hundred monthly tickets (currently less than 200, which counts for one more if it reaches 200), one more for each significant donation (limited to this month).
Moreover,
The previous book had outstanding chapters due, so let's count it as fifteen more.
Anyway, the standard update is two chapters per day, with varied word count; any extra each day is an additional chapter.
Since writing is a side job (found a new job recently), additional chapters will be slow, unable to toss out ten or fifteen at once; please all forgive me, but it will definitely be made up.
Additionally, this book won't be as long as the previous one; apologies to those who wanted to read a long epic.
Lastly.
