However, just as the members of the Guild were chattering, Frog's words once again astonished everyone.
"Now for the second announcement."
"Due to Fairy Tail's severe destruction of the Kuruji Train Station and the areas around Clover Town in this incident, Mage Ye Yang of the Fairy Tail Guild is hereby arrested!"
Ye Yang was stunned when he heard his name called out.
"Huh? Me?"
Everyone looked surprised, except Lucy, who was confused.
"What's wrong with everyone? It's just Ye Yang being taken away for a lecture."
Mirajane explained, "This is different. Ye Yang hasn't been called in since that incident a few years ago."
Lucy asked, puzzled, "That incident? What incident?"
Frog: "Guards, put the anti-magic handcuffs on this person."
Frog saw that all the soldiers he brought were standing still, completely unresponsive, with no intention of handcuffing Ye Yang.
The squad leader stepped forward and said, "Lord Ye Yang, please come with us."
Although Ye Yang was annoyed with this Frog, he did not make things difficult for the soldiers, as they were only following orders.
Frog immediately said, displeased, "Didn't you guys hear my order? Quickly put the anti-magic handcuffs on this guy!!"
Ye Yang subtly released a trace of his aura, and the surrounding air instantly dropped by several degrees.
Lucy rubbed her arms, "Why did it suddenly get so cold?"
Ye Yang: "You talk too much!"
Frog was instantly startled by this aura, trembling uncontrollably, and urine slowly seeped out from under his clothes.
Ye Yang ignored him and left with the army, who didn't even acknowledge Frog as they departed.
Soon after, everyone returned to the Guild to discuss.
A: "What do you think will happen to Ye Yang this time?"
B: "What else? They'll just talk to him and let him go, of course."
B: "I can't believe the Council would make Ye Yang take the blame this time. Aren't they afraid of public outrage?!"
A: "Who knows what they're thinking."
Lucy listened to the discussions around her, becoming increasingly confused.
"What exactly is going on?"
Mirajane explained, "It all has to do with an incident from back then."
Lucy: "An incident? What incident?"
Mira then told Lucy about the village massacre incident from that year.
Lucy was terrified upon hearing it, and then learned that Ye Yang had single-handedly wiped out dozens of Dark Guilds and, with his strength alone, crushed the siege of the Dark Guild Alliance.
Each detail made it impossible for Lucy to reconcile this with the lazy guy she knew.
"However, when the Council learned that the Dark Guild Alliance was going to attack Ye Yang, the Council originally planned to use the opportunity to wipe out those Dark Guilds, even deploying several of the top Ten Wizard Saints at the time."
"But by the time they arrived, it was too late. Ye Yang had already annihilated everyone by himself. To salvage their public image, the Council took full responsibility for this large-scale cleanup operation."
"They only announced the names of the participants to the public."
"However, after the King learned about this, he was also ashamed of the Council's actions, but they were still needed to manage the entire world of light magic. So, he bestowed upon Ye Yang the title of Great General of the Nation."
"He was even hailed as the foremost person in the magic world today."
Lucy was stunned after hearing this.
"What! The Great General of the Nation is Ye Yang?!"
"I remember that incident shook the entire Kingdom, but no one knew who the Great General of the Nation was, and the matter was even spread as a misunderstanding."
"No, Lucy, it's because Ye Yang himself didn't even know about it at the time."
"Huh? Why?"
"This... we don't know either. We only know that after Ye Yang returned that time, he was immediately taken away by a mysterious person."
"Ye Yang returned a month later, and when he heard he was named Great General of the Nation, he immediately refused."
"He said something about the Great General of the Nation being a title for the dead."
"But the King of Fiore still bestowed this title upon Ye Yang."
"However, some of the common people believed it was false, while others believed it to be true."
"People even renovated the village where the incident occurred, uniting hundreds of small villages around it and naming it Xihe Town, and the King also granted that land to Ye Yang."
Lucy then asked, "What about the foremost person in the magic world?"
Mirajane just shook her head, "We don't know about that either. The King announced it directly. What exactly happened that day, I think only the Master and Gildarts would know."
"However, Ye Yang's strength in the Guild is indeed terrifyingly powerful."
Inside the Council.
"Well, everyone, it's been a few years. You're all still alive. Org, why do you look so haggard?"
"Hmph, if you just caused us less trouble, I wouldn't be so worn out and could live to a ripe old age."
Crawford: "Alright, alright, this isn't a place for you two to chat. Regarding the damage caused to Kuruji Train Station and Clover Town, Ye Yang, do you plead guilty?"
"I plead guilty, I plead guilty. I did all of this."
"That should be enough, right? Then I'll stay here for two days. Thank you, everyone."
Ye Yang then left directly for his exclusive cell.
After Ye Yang left, Councilman Reiji immediately said furiously, "Chairman, did you see this kid's arrogant attitude!"
Crawford rolled his eyes at Reiji: "Since you've already noticed, why say it again?"
"Meeting adjourned!"
After everyone dispersed, Ultear and Siegrain walked together.
"So, Jellal, now that you've seen him in person, what do you think of him?"
Jellal slowly said, "I can't quite see through this guy. I didn't feel any magic power fluctuations within him."
"He even seems like an ordinary person."
"I'm becoming more and more curious about this person."
"You seem very interested in him."
Ultear smiled slightly, "Of course I'm interested. There's like a mist around him. The turmoil in the Dark Realm a few years ago is definitely related to him."
"If it weren't for everyone dying at the time, making it impossible to investigate, even the Council's records don't have a detailed account."
"His existence is simply too dangerous."
"Isn't it?"
Jellal, of course, knew what Ultear meant.
"I still say the same thing: anyone who stands in my way must die!"
Ultear watched Jellal walk away, a slight smile playing on her lips.
