After reuniting with Asuna, she also looked utterly bewildered at the sky's condition. It wasn't until Yusei explained that she understood.
Realizing the cause, she couldn't help but shoot Yusei an exasperated look.
"Yusei-kun, even if you're experimenting, you should hold back a little. Something like this is too shocking."
"I didn't know the arrow would be this powerful either," Yusei said, spreading his hands innocently.
Kaguya, listening nearby, was lost. She looked at the two in confusion, "What are you talking about? I feel like I'm out of the loop."
"It's about Authorities. Didn't Yusei-kun say he'd give you one too?" Asuna's puzzled gaze turned to Yusei.
"I did give it to her."
"Authority?" Kaguya finally remembered the Divine Authority Crystal Orb Yusei had mentioned last time, saying she would gain divine power by breaking it.
Back then, she thought Yusei was joking or teasing her, so she didn't take it seriously, treating the azure crystal orb as just a pretty decorative item.
So, she had carefully packaged it and placed it on her bedside table, untouched.
While she didn't particularly appreciate the orb's aesthetics, it was a gift from Yusei, so she still treasured it.
Seeing the awkward expression on Kaguya's face, Yusei asked suspiciously, "You didn't break that crystal orb, did you?"
"...No," Kaguya said quietly.
"Turning down divine power? How willful of you, Kaguya," Yusei said with a laugh, pinching her cheek.
Kaguya swatted his hand away, her face slightly red, retorting somewhat sheepishly, "How was I supposed to know you were telling the truth? Hmph!"
But then, as if remembering something, she looked at Asuna, "Asuna, you knew all along? So that means..."
Asuna smiled slightly and nodded, "Yes, Yusei-kun gave me one, and I broke it."
"Eh? So you really obtained so-called divine power?" Kaguya was like a curious child.
After all, hearing from her grandfather that youkai had appeared, legendary gods didn't seem so unreachable anymore. She was quite willing to believe in these things now.
One must remember, Yusei's previous Susanoo had left a deep impression on her. That was the power a god should possess.
"It's true. But whether this counts as a god's power, I don't know. I've never seen a god," Asuna said.
As she spoke, Asuna looked towards the distant sky, covered in dark clouds and rumbling with thunder.
If she used the [White Stallion] from her Authorities now, she could probably dispel the darkness.
Unfortunately, the condition for using the White Stallion was that it must target an 'evil' being.
"Divine Power? Asuna, show me!" Kaguya was extremely curious.
She had always felt it was a pity regarding Asuna.
Even Kaguya had to admit that in SAO, Asuna's sword skills were actually superior to hers.
In the game, Asuna was so powerful and beautiful. In reality, even though she could remember those dazzling, powerful sword skills, she was limited by her physical body and couldn't use them.
Unlike Kaguya herself, Asuna's current age wasn't suitable for starting training from scratch. This was something Kaguya had always regretted for Asuna.
Now, hearing that Asuna had obtained divine power, she desperately wanted to see it, to witness that dashing, powerful swordswoman from SAO.
"Even if you say that, the activation conditions for those Authorities are quite troublesome," Asuna said, furrowing her brow in thought. After a moment, she suddenly added, "Ah, right. The [Bull] might be usable."
"The Bull?" Kaguya was confused.
Yusei explained, "The Bull is one of the Ten Incarnations of Asuna's Authority. Its ability is immense strength. The condition is that the target of her power must be large and heavy. It also has the characteristic that the larger the target, the greater the superhuman strength becomes."
After finishing, Yusei looked at Asuna and smiled, "If you want to try it, I can help. Speaking of great strength, aside from Tohru, it's probably me. No, Tohru's strength can't compare to mine."
"Is it that giant armored warrior?" Kaguya thought of the Susanoo.
"Correct. To let you intuitively feel a divine Authority, my Susanoo is the best way to demonstrate it."
Hearing Yusei's words, Kaguya felt a bit embarrassed, "Maybe we should forget it. Listening to you, it seems using these 'Authorities' requires paying some kind of price."
"Well, it's not really a 'price'. The Bull is fine. The others aren't unpayable either..." Asuna said with a laugh.
"Alright then. Sorry for the trouble, Asuna." Kaguya, being slightly shorter than Asuna, went forward and linked arms with her, looking like a younger sister acting spoiled with her older sister.
Yusei and Hayasaka walked behind them. The group prepared to head to the Shinomiya Family's private hunting grounds.
The open space there was large, surrounded by no one, specifically provided for private hunting and horseback riding.
Right now, Tokyo's sudden darkness, coupled with the lightning and thunder, had thrown society into chaos.
Countless 'monsters and demons' of rumor were running amok. Talk of divine punishment, god's wrath, and an angry god proliferated.
However, being a modern society, the unrest was quickly subdued. Schools and universities rapidly restricted movement, keeping students on campus.
Additionally, the police and relevant authorities maintained order, preventing the disturbance from escalating.
Even so, the completely darkened sky, the roar of thunder and lightning, and the sight of lightning strikes hitting skyscrapers… these terrifying scenes still caused significant impact.
Casualties were fortunately low, as lightning rods played a strong role. Injuries were mainly due to the subsequent panic.
The primary result was the social impact. One particular video spread wildly online: a towering, colossal blue figure.
It commanded thunder, slayed a cloud dragon with its bare hands, majestic and mighty like a God of Thunder walking the earth.
This was the recorded scene of Yusei's battle when he slain [Heaven's] incarnation.
It had garnered many views before, but most dismissed it as special effects, giving it only a passing glance.
Now, combined with Tokyo's bizarre phenomenon, the video titled [God of Thunder] rapidly went viral.
Almost everyone who saw the video would instinctively ask, "Could this be real?"
"Could there truly be gods in this world?"
