Volume 10: Chapter 9 — The Whisper Beyond the Origin
The newborn Omniverse shimmered like liquid eternity.
Erevan and Kairos stood upon a bridge of light, watching as countless new worlds spun into being universes crafted not by dominance, but by remembrance.
Every breath Erevan took sent ripples through infinity. Stars bent to his pulse; creation danced to his quiet heartbeat.
Kairos watched, awe-struck. "You're… rebuilding existence with feeling alone. You've transcended reason itself."
Erevan smiled faintly, his golden eyes reflecting infinite horizons.
> "Power without soul is hollow. But now… every world remembers who they are, because I remember them."
The vastness around them shifted constellations rearranged into words.
The cosmos itself began to speak.
> "You speak of remembrance, Erevan… yet you forget your beginning."
The light dimmed.
The bridge cracked.
From the farthest edge of the Omniverse beyond all defined existence something stepped through.
A figure cloaked in shadow and radiance both, their voice layered across infinite realities.
> "I am the True Origin, the one you replaced. The first thought before existence itself. You… are the False Spark that rewrote my design."
Kairos staggered back, his form flickering under the weight of that presence. "Erevan… what is that thing?"
Erevan's aura darkened and flared at once black lightning intertwining with golden fire.
> "Something I was destined to meet. The one beyond creation the void before story."
New Erevan Abilities Awakened:
Transcendent Nullfield Erevan's presence cancels paradoxes, rewriting contradictions into his own truth.
Chrono-Existence He can exist in all timelines at once, rewriting his actions retroactively across realities.
Concept Override He can override the fundamental idea behind any being, turning their purpose into his will.
True Infinity Breaker Grants him the ability to kill concepts, including "beginning" and "end."
The True Origin extended its hand entire layers of reality peeled away, exposing raw creation energy.
> "You were never meant to exist, Erevan. You are a paradox, a distortion. Now, I will correct it."
Erevan looked up, his expression calm but burning with defiance.
> "Then correct me if you can. I am not a mistake I am evolution."
He raised his hand, summoning the Core of Eternal Memory a glowing sphere forged from every life, every world, every soul that had ever believed in him.
The two powers collided existence trembled, time folded, and even the void screamed as light and shadow clashed across every layer of creation.
For the first time since the dawn of story, the Omniverse itself watched in silence.
And then…
Erevan smiled.
> "You were the first origin, yes. But I am what comes after the end."
