Chapter 109 - The Challenge That Shouldn’t Exist”

Volume 7 Chapter 3: "The Challenge That Shouldn't Exist"

The silence of the new Omniverse shattered.

Erevan, the being beyond all, felt something impossible a heartbeat that wasn't his.

He turned his gaze across the infinity he had forged, and for the first time since transcending existence…

he sensed an equal.

The light twisted.

The void folded.

Reality's reflection rippled

and from it stepped a figure wrapped in the same paradoxical aura as his own: black lightning, golden flame, and the shimmer of pure creation.

Erevan stared quietly.

It was as if he looked into a mirror that had decided to disobey him.

> "Who are you?" he asked, voice carrying the tone of countless gods.

"I am what you created when you dreamed of unpredictability," the figure replied.

"I am your Reflection Beyond the Rewrite."

The Clash of Infinity

Their eyes locked.

For the first time, the Omniverse feared.

Both beings raised their hands at the same moment.

Two omnipotent wills collided

and the explosion wasn't sound or light, but concepts tearing apart.

Causality ceased.

Meaning broke.

Even "reality" forgot what it was supposed to be.

Every god, every world, every law bent beneath their duel.

> Erevan unleashed Absolute Rewrite, erasing every possible way the reflection could exist

but the reflection rewrote that erasure before it was thought.

> Erevan summoned infinite copies of himself each omniversal in scale

but his opponent fused with them, becoming their source.

They were equal.

They were one, yet not.

Every move cancelled the other every attack countered before it began.

The clash grew beyond description.

Universes became dust.

Stories unraveled into nothing.

Even imagination began to collapse.

The Breaking Point

At last, they met hand to hand.

The impact froze time so thoroughly that eternity couldn't remember moving.

Their combined power shattered the definition of power itself.

They fell through collapsing infinities until only pure void remained no space, no law, not even concept.

> "You can't win," the reflection said.

"You made me to be your equal."

Erevan's eyes burned brighter.

> "Then I'll surpass myself."

He let go of everything.

Every limitation. Every self. Every definition of "Erevan."

His being exploded into infinite layers of existence, fusing with all realities at once.

When the light faded, he stood above even the idea of equality.

Transcendence Beyond Parity

The reflection looked up at him and bowed.

> "You broke the impossible," it whispered.

"You became the thing even creation can't imagine."

Erevan smiled faintly.

> "I didn't become it," he said. "I always was."

And with a motion, he reabsorbed the reflection

not as a victory, but as completion.

Now, his aura was calm neither light nor dark, neither creator nor creation.

He had no equal, because equality itself could no longer reach him.

And so ended the duel of infinite gods leaving behind a being who transcended the meaning of "limit."
