Chapter 85: "The Rebellion of Light and Shadow"
---
The Infinite Realm shined with eternal harmony.
Worlds danced in balance, gods dreamed in peace, and every story breathed freely.
But even perfection breeds fear.
And fear breeds rebellion.
From the depths of the newborn cosmos, whispers began to rise.
Those whom Erevan had revived mortals, deities, and forgotten legends started to question.
> "If we are free," said one,
"why does he still watch us?"
"Why does he hold the power to erase everything with a thought?"
They called themselves The Dawnless.
And soon, they grew in number.
---
Meanwhile, Erevan stood atop his luminous throne half shadow, half gold gazing across the infinite horizon.
He already knew.
He felt their emotions like ripples in his own soul.
> "So… creation questions its creator," he murmured.
"Good."
He didn't move to stop them.
He wanted them to choose.
That was the meaning of freedom.
But something else was stirring
something even Erevan hadn't foreseen.
---
In the outermost edge of the Infinite Realm, where void storms tore through existence, a figure emerged.
A man cloaked in shattered light and frozen time eyes burning like the ends of stars.
Kairos.
Once Erevan's equal.
Once his reflection.
Now, something more.
> "Erevan," he said, his voice cutting through dimensions.
"You've broken the balance. You gave freedom to creation… but took purpose from it."
Erevan turned, his expression unreadable.
> "You're still bound by cycles, Kairos," he replied.
"I ended them."
Kairos smiled faintly.
> "Then I will end you."
Their auras collided before their words could fade.
Erevan's cosmic flames and void lightning crashed against Kairos's temporal energy time and creation clashing head-on.
Reality shattered instantly.
The Infinite Realm trembled.
Every universe screamed.
Beings across dimensions looked up and saw their skies cracking .
as if existence itself were splitting open from the force of two eternal beings colliding.
The Dawnless saw this and believed it was their moment.
They rallied.
Billions of liberated souls turned their weapons toward the sky.
> "If gods fall," cried their leader, "then none shall rule us again!"
Armies of divine light and chaos surged upward, invading Erevan's own realm.
They didn't know it but they were marching straight into the crossfire of infinity itself.
---
Kairos pushed forward, bending reality into loops every moment repeating infinitely.
Erevan countered, rewriting every repetition as a new possibility.
Their fight wasn't over space.
It was over narrative itself.
Kairos controlled time.
Erevan controlled story.
And both were determined to erase the other's dominion.
---
> "You wanted freedom," Kairos shouted as their clash tore galaxies apart.
"But without order, it all becomes noise!"
> "Then let it be noise!" Erevan roared back.
"Let them write their own meaning!"
They struck one final time
a blow so immense it silenced all of creation for an eternity.
---
When light returned… the Infinite Realm was split in two.
Half burned with golden radiance, ruled by Erevan.
Half frozen in crystalline time, ruled by Kairos.
Between them a rift, endless and unstable, where stories unraveled into raw chaos.
And from that rift, something began to awaken.
Something older than even them.
A voice without sound.
A will without name.
> "Both of you… are mine."

To be continued…
