A loud chime went off , startling the players.

The battlefield lit up with neon blue light and everyone stood still, basking in the only moment of peace they had while the game had been paused.
For a moment all was still then huge robots appeared shooting the male players who failed to show their strength in previous trials.
They fell to the ground immediately and Kaito and Hudson stood terrified with shock engraved into their faces.
The players panicked running away as the robots chased them down relentlessly.
" You should be thanking me for choosing you." A familiar voice bragged , " If it wasn't for me you'd be on the ground where you belong."
" Cole ? We didn't ask for your help." Hudson shouted , turning around to try to face where the voice was coming from, but the voice popped up somewhere else again.
" Give me the map , Kaito or I'll make you just as lost as the treasure." Cole's voice ringed through the air.
His voice came from above them now.
" Tell Eros to come get it himself ! I know he's the one searching for it." Kaito called out looking above him.
A puff of smoke formed in front of Hudson and suddenly the human boy found himself face to face with sharp fangs and a smug smirk.
Hudson flinched and backed away from Cole, who manifested visibly and walked towards him.
He pulled the Human close and whispered what felt like his fate into his ear.
" You'll be lost until it's found." Cole said and for some reason Hudson felt chills down his spine and a deep emptiness within him.
[ System pulling Eros to select the strongest warriors based on his observations in the previous trials. JUDGE selected . His choices will not be questioned. ]
Eros appeared sitting in a throne like chair with spikes and arrows that formed a huge X behind it.
" If you can win the game then you might be worthy of being a knight. I don't have a heart to be shifted. I merely find entertainment in your misery. Hudson, try not to cry this time....you and Enmei have already proven to be one and the same." Eros said and Hudson scowled.
" Let her out the game."
" Give back the MAP !!" Eros' voice was suddenly deafeningly loud.
"I'll give it back when you set Lure and Enmei free !" Kaito argued.
" Set them free ? This game is freedom. This is as free as it gets. YOU get to choose your own path. Being weak is just the same as choosing death. " Eros spat with no remorse.
" Alto . Cole . Orion. You are my top three. Jackson , you're number 4 and the rest of you need to do something memorable before you get deleted from the game."
" You had no reason to encourage this. YOU can stop the game."
" I can't and I don't want to. This is all too interesting to put to an end now. I'm getting excited to see what this game has in store for crybabies and sentimental humans who are too naive to give up."
" Love is for Losers , but so is my hatred. " Eros said and He vanished into a pink mist of smoke.
A younger boy with a rubix cube approached Hudson. It wasn't solved and all the colors were mixed up, he kept turning parts of it in an attempt to solve it as he spoke.
The younger boy panicked as he tried to solved the rubix cube even though the game he was trapped in was deadlier.
" Why does the world have to be all mixed up ?" He asked and Hudson turned and looked at him questioningly.
"I'm not quiet sure what you mean. " Hudson replied and the boy panicked more , causing the rubix to almost fall out of his hands.
"Aliens and Humans aren't supposed to be on the same planet." The young boy said.
"Everyone and everything is supposed to be in their rightful place." He spoke to Hudson but his eyes were transfixed onto the small cube shaped puzzle in front of him.
Hudson paused to observe him and then he noticed that the boys face was wet with tears.
He was probably scared, but they had no time for fear.
"Listen kid. You can't freak out because a few colors are out of place. Stop trying to solve the whole puzzle when all you need is to make two sides touch and everything will be okay ." Hudson said and the boy looked at him with a questioning but intrigued look.
" It's not always that simple NOT everyone has amazing abilities." The boy complained.
" What's your name ?"
"Ataro. Why ?" The boy said.
"I only ask the names of people who I believe can make a difference in the world. If I never thought you were smart I wouldn't have asked okay ? I'll help you and this mixed- up world. "
He rested his hand on the boy's shoulder, patting him gently to cheer him up.
" I'll put your world back in order, promise ." Hudson said and he gave the younger boy a tight hug.
