Chapter 52 - Twelve People Enter the Dock

Inside the van.

Su Tianyu tightened his grip around Guo Lin's neck, looking down at him and asking, "Answer me when I ask you something."

"I'll answer your damn question!" Guo Lin glared at him and shouted, "If you can walk out of Tianhong Harbor, I'll take your surname!"

Su Tianyu glanced at Bai Hongbo and Kong Zhenghui. "What do we do if he doesn't talk?"

"If he can't get out, let's break him," Bai Hongbo growled, holding his knife. "Let's take his kidney."

"Really?" Kong Zhenghui immediately pulled up Guo Lin's shirt, exposing his waist and back.

"You little bastard!" Guo Lin instinctively recoiled at the suggestion.

Su Tianyu held him down, gritting his teeth and shouting, "Take it! Take his kidney!"

"You hold him, I'll stab him," Bai Hongbo responded.

Kong Zhenghui helped restrain Guo Lin. Bai Hongbo, wearing his helmet, seemed to be distracted either by his breath fogging up his visor or from nervous tension. Regardless, he miscalculated and used the machete to slash down instead of targeting the kidney.

"Thud!"

The machete cut open Guo Lin's lower back, leaving a finger-long gash.

Sweat beaded on Guo Lin's forehead, and he involuntarily shuddered, looking down to see blood pouring from his back.

Kong Zhenghui scolded irritably, "Who the hell uses a machete to remove a kidney? Get a shorter knife, and aim better."

"Doesn't matter, we're doing it now," Bai Hongbo said, holding the machete horizontally and aiming for Guo Lin's kidney again.

"Thud!"

The blade pierced Guo Lin's body, spraying blood. He trembled violently, his fear palpable. After all, who wouldn't be terrified of having their kidney removed?

As Bai Hongbo repositioned to strike again, Guo Lin's subordinate, who had been watching, finally understood and screamed, "Don't cut my boss! I'll talk! I'll talk!"

"You dare talk, I'll kill you!" Guo Lin, bloodied, shouted.

"Your brother's more sensible than you," Su Tianyu gestured to Bai Hongbo to pause, then turned to the subordinate and asked, "Where are the seven boats?"

The man hesitated before replying.

"Tell me, or I'll finish what we started!" Bai Hongbo yelled, "If you don't speak, after I'm done with him, I'll go after your balls!"

Seeing Bai Hongbo's serious demeanor, the man quickly replied, "They're in the warehouse on Third Avenue."

Su Tianyu glanced at the driver. "Do you know where that is?"

"Yes, the one by the water, not far from here, right up ahead," the driver nervously nodded.

Su Tianyu kicked Guo Lin in the face. "Get ready, we're going in."

Guo Lin gritted his teeth and looked at Su Tianyu. "You really think you're getting out of Tianhong Harbor alive?"

"Thud!"

Bai Hongbo's machete struck Guo Lin's mouth, silencing him immediately.

Three minutes later.

Inside the warehouse on Third Avenue, Xu Er was playing mahjong while receiving a call.

"Hello?"

"Second Brother, our old Guo has been kidnapped."

"What?" Xu Er froze for a moment. "Kidnapped? That can't be...!"

"It's true. A dozen people rushed into the shop, tied up Old Guo, and took him away in two vans," the female shopkeeper said anxiously.

Xu Er frowned and cursed, "You idiots! How could you let them take him right outside your door?"

"We didn't expect this to happen! What do we do, Second Brother?"

"Damn it!" Xu Er stood up angrily, "I'm going over there. Damn, I can't even play mahjong in peace!"

He pushed the tiles aside, calling to the others. "Let's go, we're heading to Xinxin Foot Bath."

The five or six men in the room followed Xu Er out, preparing to get into the car.

"Bang!"

At that moment, two vans rammed the iron gate and drove straight into the yard.

Xu Er froze. "Damn it, something's not right!"

"Squeak, squeak!"

The warehouse yard wasn't large, only about thirty meters in length and width. As Xu Er took a step back, the two vans were already approaching.

"Crash!"

The van doors flung open, and Su Tianyu leaped out, knife in hand, immediately slashing one of the men's head.

"Grab weapons! Surround them!" Xu Er shouted.

Before the sound could die down, Kong Zhenghui, Bai Hongbo, Su Tianbei, and the rest of the group all rushed out of the vans, each armed, and quickly surrounded the men. They attacked with brutal efficiency, cutting through the opponents with a flurry of strikes.

Xu Er had just made it inside when Su Tianyu and Kong Zhenghui slammed him to the ground. He was a warrior, though, and after rolling around on the floor, he screamed, "Get help, get help! The Ma gang is here!"

Upstairs, the Ma gang brothers, who were in charge of the warehouse and the goods, heard the commotion. Grabbing their walkie-talkies, they shouted, "Ma gang members, get to the warehouse!"

Inside the main room, Su Tianyu stepped on Xu Er's head and shouted, "Forget the others, find Zhang Hao!"

Without needing further instructions, Su Tianbei had already kicked open two rooms, smashing several windows, and eventually found Zhang Hao and five others tied up in a room on the left.

Su Tianbei quickly freed Zhang Hao and the others. "Hold on, don't speak yet, let's go!" He supported Zhang Hao, helping him and the others out of the warehouse and back to the main building.

Upstairs, Su Tianyu and Kong Zhenghui stormed into the room, quickly dispatching the Ma gang members there. Then, they returned to the lobby.

Just as the group was regrouping, the sound of footsteps and engines became audible outside the yard.

Su Tianyu glanced out the window and saw the iron gate being opened completely. A massive crowd was charging toward the main building, all armed.

"Damn, still daring to stir things up at the docks?" A burly man wielding a blade shouted at the main building, "Knock them all down, drag them out!"

Just then, Wei Xiangzuo, who had been in Tianhong Street earlier, arrived at the scene, frowning and asking, "Who are these people?"

"We don't know yet, Wei Bro," the burly man replied.

Wei Xiangzuo clasped his hands behind his back, addressing the Ma gang members. "They crossed the line, don't go easy on them. If they get killed, it's on me. Cut them up!"

At those words, at least a hundred people, both inside and outside the yard, brandished their weapons and charged toward the main building.

Inside, Su Tianyu, hearing the approaching crowd, felt a chill run down his spine as he dialed Yu Mingyuan's number.

"Hello?" After a few seconds, the call reached.

"I'm at the Ma gang's warehouse on Third Avenue in Tianhong Harbor. I have both the people and the goods," Su Tianyu said directly. "We can't leave now. Yu Mingyuan, you decide—do you want to take us or not?"

With that, the call ended. Su Tianyu tightened his belt, secured his knife and right wrist, then gritted his teeth and shouted, "Numbers won't help us, it's just us on the first floor. Anyone who comes in, we'll cut them down! We came as twelve, and we'll leave as twelve—if we fall, we all fall! If we hold on, the Ma gang will be confused next time they see us!"
