The dark vortex of Fusion loomed high above, and beneath it stood the golden-haired girl, her eyes glowing red as Great Magician-level magic surged around her.
Her HEROES stood before her like guardians, shielding her from all malice and darkness.
The students of Saint Fusion Academy could only think one thing… Alicia looked absolutely incredible.
Alicia: "(><) Yuui-san, you're so cool!!"
Yuui: "Haha, save the compliments for later—things are about to get even cooler!"
"I activate the Field Spell Fusion Gate! During my Main Phase, I can banish Fusion Material Monsters listed on a Fusion Monster from my hand or field, and Fusion Summon that monster from my Extra Deck!"
"I fuse Elemental HERO Liquid Soldier in my hand with Elemental HERO Stratos on my field! Fusion materials—one Elemental HERO monster plus one WIND monster!!
The two HEROES, Stratos and Liquid Soldier, were drawn into the great vortex swirling in the sky.
The audience gasped in shock. None of them had ever seen Alicia fuse Stratos with another HERO before. They had never even heard of a HERO Fusion Monster that required an Elemental HERO and a WIND monster as materials.
Could it be that after summoning a new HERO earlier, she was now calling forth a new HERO Fusion Monster as well?
The answer came in the next instant.
Yuui: "Break your chains, embrace the spirit of the wind, and become the hero who brings the storm! Fusion Summon—Roar, Elemental HERO Great Tornado!!"
A gale roared to life, a white tornado spiraling to the heavens. From within the storm, a yellow-green comet fell, bursting forth into the form of a new HERO.
Clad in yellow-green armor and a black half-cape, his crimson eyes blazed beneath his mask.
The hero who embodies the storm, Elemental HERO Great Tornado, descends!

With the new Fusion HERO's arrival, the crowd erupted. Unlike Ace's Red Dragon Archfiend or Nash's Number monsters—both fascinating yet foreign—this new HERO represented Fusion Summoning itself, the pride of Saint Fusion Academy. The students felt an immediate sense of kinship and excitement.
On the field, Ace and Nash instantly recognized Great Tornado's true nature—a powerful Spirit within card form. They both braced themselves, feeling the pressure of its immense energy.
Yuui: "First, the effect of the Fusion Material—Elemental HERO Liquid Soldier! When this card is used as Fusion Material for a HERO monster and sent to the Graveyard or banished, I draw 2 cards, then discard 1! Next, Great Tornado's effect activates! When this card is Fusion Summoned—halve the ATK and DEF of all your opponent's monsters! Great Tornado—Tempest Cyclone!!"
Ace & Nash: "What!!"
Great Tornado spread his arms wide, and a teal-green storm erupted from him, forming a raging cyclone that swept across both opponents' fields.
Under the force of that storm, even their mightiest monsters could not resist, suffering heavy damage in moments.

"And it's got 2800 Attack too! That's higher than any other base HERO Fusion Monster!"
The surrounding students could hardly contain their awe, and even Professor White nodded repeatedly, impressed by Alicia's (Yuui's) play. She was bringing great honor to Saint Fusion Academy.
As the Great Tornado's storm subsided, Yuui drew two cards, discarded one, and continued, "Next, I activate Fusion Gate again! This time, I fuse Elemental HERO Avian on my field with Prisma—currently treated as Burstinatrix!"
Both HEROES flew into the swirling vortex once more.
Yuui: "The hero who stands atop the skyscraper, answer my call! Fusion Summon—Elemental HERO Flame Wingman!!"
A meteor of flame fell from the vortex, taking form as a single-winged, dragon-armed HERO of wind and fire.

With both the classic and next-generation wind HEROES now standing side by side, the sight was nothing short of spectacular.
Yuui then inserted his last card into his Duel Disk. "I Set one card and end my turn! And at this moment, the Bubbleman I Special Summoned earlier with Fake HERO returns to my hand due to Fake HERO's effect!"
Bubbleman turned into a stream of light and returned to Yuui's hand.
In a single turn, Yuui had cleared both opponents' backrows, halved every enemy monster's ATK and DEF—reducing even their strongest monsters to below 1500 Attack—and ended with a defensive setup and recovery in hand.
Alicia's (Yuui's) performance this turn left the spectators in awe.
Even those who prided themselves on their skill admitted… none of them could have done better than the golden-haired girl before them.
