Agatha
After spending over an hour attentively listening to our adviser discuss the school's specific policies regarding attendance, dress code, and extracurricular activities, it was finally time for us to go home, feeling more informed but eager for some rest.
Our classmates started packing their bags, and I just watched them leave one by one. I noticed the weird boy beside me was still scribbling in his notebook, which caused me to roll my eyes.
"Are you not gonna go home yet? It's getting late." I glanced at the wall clock in the classroom and it was already past 5:30pm.
His eyes bore onto mine, but he quickly looked away, and he began to pack his notebooks.
"Um.. I'll just go home later when there aren't many students at the gate anymore since it can be crowded." He muttered while packing his things and I just nodded.
I gazed out the window, but there was already a sunset since it was 5:23pm.
I stole a glance at him one more time before I turned my back and I was about to leave, but then I heard his small voice.
"Can I..walk with you to the school gate?" I turned to face him with a curved smirk on my lips.
"Let's go, then." He nodded at my response and quickly stood up with his bag on his back.
We both left the classroom and there were still a lot of students roaming in the hallway, some of them were just getting something from their locker, while others were just on standby.
We headed to the elevator door and pressed the button for the ground floor of the building. I looked at him through the reflection of the elevator door; he was fidgeting with his fingers while looking down.
The elevator door finally opened and we both stepped inside, I pressed the ground floor button.
I stared at his figure in the reflection; curious to know what he tastes like.
"My name's Alexander, by the way." My eyes darted to him as he introduced himself. I let out a scoff as if I care about his name.
"I'm Agatha Pierce." I still introduced myself to not make him feel awkward, and he nodded until the elevator door opened, we were finally at the ground floor of the building.
After a minute of complete silence while walking towards the school gate, he finally stopped in front.
"Thanks for walking with me, I'll go now. See you tomorrow, Agatha?" His tone screams the need for permission. I only gave him a nod before I walked away.
Hmm…I think I should be friends with him..I at least need a plaything here.
I went to the same alleyway where I landed earlier that morning to go home quickly. I looked around and it was already dark so I used my bat form to fly back to my house.
Alexander
I can't believe I finally have a friend..
I let my body fall onto my bed as I held my chest tight. I closed my eyes and hugged a pillow.
"Mhm.. I'm bored." I mumbled into my pillow, I stood up and went to the balcony.
The scenery felt like a whole movie scene, and the moon shone brighter than any star, the sky was dark yet filled with glittering stars.
I sighed at the sight and I was about to go back inside but I saw a swarm of bats flying across the sky. My face turned from bored to a surprised reaction in no time and I quickly took my phone out of my pocket to capture the bats.
I went inside after taking a picture of the bats and I examined it. Some of them were in the middle like they're covering something inside.
"Mhm..I feel so sleepy." I jumped onto my bed and opened a social app to search for her name.
Agatha Pierce..
I saw an account with the same name as hers so I clicked it and was immediately captivated by her profile picture. It was her holding something like a red wine glass while wearing a dress. I felt my cheeks turning red and I immediately turned off my phone to calm myself down.
I got startled by a loud bang downstairs and all my thoughts went blank when I heard screaming.
Looks like they're fighting again..
I covered my ears with a pillow and closed my eyes as it started to sting from the tears forming.
Everything was fine earlier, but they destroyed my day again.
My heartbeat went up like I'm on a roller coaster ride as I continue to hear objects getting destroyed downstairs while mom is yelling.
When will this end?

I chugged a whole container of blood after going home because of bloodlust affecting me throughout the day during school.
That girl's blood ain't enough, I knew I needed more, and I should've just bitten Alexander too.
I stepped towards the body mirror in my living room and fixed my messy long hair. I licked my lips and took the phone I recently bought a month ago, and searched for Alexander's social account.
I clicked his profile and he has no posts, he's clearly not that active. I sent a friend request to him and I was about to put down my phone but a notification popped up and it was him; he accepted my friend request in the social app.
I sent a like on his chat and he immediately saw it and replied.
"Goodnight."
I stared at his message before reacting to it with a like and replying to his message.
"Goodnight Alexander."
I set my phone down on the living room table and used my speed to go upstairs heading to my room. I opened the door and let myself fall into bed and closed my eyes.
I thought about the day and Alexander was kinda creeping into my mind but I refused to think about it, so I just went to sleep.
