Chapter 48 - when i was the void prince volume 7 chapter 192 to chapter 195

Chapter 192 – When Chaos Becomes a Strategy (or Not at All)

Agniryos, wrapped in glowing runes, growled like an offended volcano.

His runic chains snapped like the universe itself telling him: *"Bro, sit down for two minutes."*

Oris, bent over with his hands on his knees:

— "Man… I'm out of breath. Why do all bosses want to show off? Just do like the mini‑bosses: fall to the ground and vanish in light, simple!"

Agniryos trembled, the ground shook, and Kae placed a hand on Oris's shoulder.

— "I hope you're joking. This thing tanked a stellar explosion, an astral slicing, and almost evaporated us earlier."

Oris raised a dramatic finger:

— "That's why I was joking… but only on the surface. Inside, I'm screaming, Kae. Screaming."

The runic chains began to crack.

Agniryos spoke, his voice resonating like an earthquake:

— "You think you can restrain a Primordial Guardian with chains of light? I am the original flame, the first combustion of the cos—"

— "YEAH YEAH we know, we know," Oris cut him off.

"You burn hot. You melt realities. We get it, stop doing your legendary card description already."

Kae raised his energy blade, the field around him vibrating.

— "Get ready. He's breaking free—"

**CRRRAAAAAAAAAAAACK!**

The chains shattered like glass.

Agniryos rose, his white flames swirling, almost alive.

— "FOR DARING TO SEAL ME, I WILL—"

He was interrupted by Kae's luminous blade appearing right in front—

— "Zero Burst: Diffusive Strike!"

The impact crushed the ground and carved a deep crater.

Agniryos parried with a single motion, his flames devouring the air.

Oris appeared behind him, his runic sword blazing with ancient light.

— "My turn, Daddy Fire!"

He traced a runic circle:

— "Primordial Flux Rune – First Movement: Vortex of Devouring Currents"

(stylish name: *Flux Vortex Ignis*)

He struck.

Agniryos's flames began to be sucked into the sword as if the weapon was drinking a cosmic milkshake.

— "Hahaha! And you thought I'd just stand here listening to your speech?"

Agniryos's eyes widened, surprised for the first time.

Oris wrote another symbol in the air.

A spherical barrier formed around them, isolated from time and space.

— "Kae! Get over here!"

Kae slid in, serious.

— "What are you planning now…?"

Oris raised his sword, saturated with stolen flames.

— "Flux Rune – Total Release: Annihilation of Primordial Currents"

(stylish name: *Primordial Flux Burst*)

A massive flash engulfed everything.

---

When the barrier dissipated, they stood in the middle of a devastated Primal Nexus.

Kae's eyes widened.

— "Look at the state of the Primal Nexus!!"

— "Hey, not my fault!" Oris said, raising his hands.

"He's the one burning at a billion degrees, not me!"

Oris looked down at his sword.

It was in pieces.

— "…Yeah, I think I'll just make another one."

— "ORIS!!!" Kae shouted.

He realized instantly.

Agniryos was behind them.

And this time, he was going to vaporize them.

A flaming blade descended.

Oris reacted in a flash, tracing a blazing rune:

— "Rune of Inversion – Attack Rejected: Cataclysmic Return"

(stylish name: *Reverta Cataclysm Surge*)

The attack was deflected, and Oris grabbed Kae, tossing him further away.

Kae screamed:

— "ORIIIIS!!

YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO THROW ME LIKE THAT!"

Agniryos's energy exploded on Oris…

…but his silhouette vanished in a white flash.

A voice rang out behind Agni:

— "You fell for it, my magma bro."

Agniryos turned.

Oris stood there, intact, arms crossed.

— "Like I said… there are six primordial families. And here's the sixth, the one I'd disabled to trap you."

He revealed a reversed rune glowing beneath his eye.

**Sixth Primordial Family — Rune of Inversion (Reverta)**

— "It inverts an attack.

It reflects an attack.

It changes the nature of an attack.

Basically, it's legal cheating."

Oris exhaled, raising his broken but still active sword:

— "Form Two – Amplified Reflection"

(stylish name: *Reverta Overdrive Reflector*)

— "So Agni… try again. We're sending everything back at 3000% now."

Kae, behind him:

— "See? I've always said it. Oris is dangerous. But not for his enemies…

For his logic."

Oris:

— "Hey! Respect my creative genius a little!"

Chapter 193 – Reflection, Flex and Cataclysm

Oris spoke calmly:

— "Alright, to explain clearly… here's the last primordial family. A passive rune. No need to activate it. It works on its own: it reflects any attack or hostile intent.

It can cancel, or change the nature of an attack. Basically, if someone even thinks about hitting me… it's already too late for them."

Kae narrowed his eyes.

— "And you deactivated that… voluntarily… TO MAKE ME THINK you had nothing to counter my sword strike?"

— "Of course," said Oris. "That way, at the right moment, I could send his own attack back at him… but in Ultra‑HD, pride‑breaking edition."

Kae raised his hands.

— "So explain this: why didn't you just reflect his attack with the Overdrive Reflector straight back at him?

Instead, you just… deflected it to flex in front of everyone?"

Oris looked at the ground, embarrassed like a kid caught red‑handed.

— "Haaaan… my bad. My mistake. Soooorry…"

He waved vaguely:

— "But look at the bright side: now, if he attacks me… it'll bounce back at him, multiplied."

Kae clenched his teeth.

— "BUT THAT WAS EXACTLY THE ORIGINAL PLAN! You just had to not FLEX!"

— "Eh… I can't control myself when I'm stylish."

Kae sighed.

— "Stay focused. That's all I ask."

Agni watched them, face tense.

— "So if I attack you… it comes back on me."

Oris smiled a criminal smile.

— "Old man… you're dead."

He raised his hand toward Kae.

— "Hey. Make me an energy blade."

Kae created a condensed blade and threw it.

Oris caught it without even looking, then wrapped it in runes that coiled around like serpents of light.

He charged straight at Agni, one of his eyes glowing with an inverted rune.

— "Reverso Eye‑Mark!" he declared, placing an inversion rune into Agni's eye with his gaze.

Then immediately followed:

— "Reversa: Cataclysm Surge!"

**BOOM.**

Agni's attack rebounded on him, bigger, harsher, more humiliating.

Agni flew, fell, slid, rolled, bounced.

Even the lava parted out of respect.

Oris laughed like a child.

— "See, old man, if you don't control your sword… the damage comes back at you, directly. And better."

Smoking, Agni rose slowly.

— "I'll skin you alive, arrogant mortal…"

Kae raised his hand.

— "Oris. Hide yourself in a barrier outside time and space. I'm going to use Zero Field then Total Discharge."

Oris froze.

— "Uhh—Yes, boss."

---

**Zero Field — "Voidfield: Null Dominion"**

Technique that empties all forms of energy in an entire zone.

**Total Discharge → "Omega Burst: Total Release"**

Explosion of all accumulated energy.

---

Oris created a barrier to protect himself.

At least… that's what he projected to everyone.

In reality, he half‑sealed himself, then popped right back out when he saw Agni charging at Kae.

— "Oh no! You don't touch my buddy while he's charging! I've got runes to tank!"

He hurled himself into the Primal Nexus like a screaming human missile.

Agni attacked. Agni was reflected. Agni attacked again. Agni was re‑re‑reflected.

Every strike bounced back off Oris as if Agni were playing ping‑pong with his own humiliation.

Oris laughed, jumped, spun, taunted:

— "HIT HARDER! I want to send you back in 4K!"

— "Stop shouting!" Agni roared.

— "NO! The louder I shout, the funnier it is!"

Meanwhile, the Null Dominion was draining everything.

Even Agni's energy was being devoured by the field.

The Primal Nexus vibrated like an engine shutting down.

Agni panicked.

— "I must stop him!"

But every step he took was reflected.

That's when Oris grinned… and stuck out his tongue.

Literally.

Runes appeared on it.

Kae, in the distance, nearly choked.

— "WHAT—Wait—WHY do you have runes on your TONGUE?!"

Oris answered with absurd seriousness:

— "They're the Ancient Tongues.

Another way to use primordial scripts.

No need for a catalyst. No need to write.

I speak → the rune exists."

He tested it.

— "CRUSH."

Agni was slammed to the ground as if an invisible giant had stepped on him.

He tried to rise.

— "Grrr—"

— "STOP."

Agni froze like a statue caught mid existential crisis.

Oris grabbed his face.

— "Thanks for staying obedient."

He slammed him to the ground like a sack of rice.

Then he looked at Kae.

— "Go ahead, brother. Charge your thing. We've got him."

Kae smiled.

— "Perfect. Showtime."

Chapter 194 – The Anchor of Nothingness and the Omega Burst

The Primal Nexus vibrated like a heart about to give out.

Energy drained visibly, sucked away by Kael's Null Dominion — and each passing second made the space more unstable.

Cracks of violet energy formed in the air… as if reality itself was saying, *"bro, I'm tired."*

---

**Agni on the ground:**

He growled, his voice trembling with rage:

— "I must… stop him… or he will destroy my master's domain…"

He tried to rise.

Mistake.

A very big mistake.

---

**Oris, one hand on his head, almost bored:**

— "Where exactly are you going? Explain it to me. Raise your hand if you've got an idea."

The inverted rune in his eye glowed.

He spoke a word in the Ancient Language:

— "Shut up."

Instantly, Agni's mouth became useless.

Total silence. No sound. No breath. Nothing.

Oris made a satisfied little hand gesture.

— "There we gooo. Much better."

---

**Agni, in his head, full tragic anime mode:**

*"They want to destroy the master's domain… I cannot… I must not…"*

His aura exploded with rage.

The entire Nexus shook like an old tin shack in a hurricane.

---

Oris lifted Agni by the head with a smile:

— "Hey hey hey… control your intentions. Otherwise…"

He tapped the rune in his eye:

— "…they turn back on you."

Agni felt his own aura strike him in return.

He wanted to scream, but… well, he couldn't speak anymore.

Too bad.

---

**Kael in the distance, more focused than ever:**

— "Null Dominion… 85%… 90%… Omega Burst soon."

A sphere of black and silver energy swirled around him.

His skin glowed as if heated white-hot.

---

**Oris (still in total control):**

— "You hear that, Agni? He doesn't have much time left… so let's speed things up."

He raised his hand, placed it on Agni's cheek…

Then delivered a monumental slap.

— "Impulse Rune: TITAN SURGE!"

**BOOOOOOOM.**

Agni spun wildly through the air for hundreds of meters.

While he was still flying like a mistreated spinning top:

— Oris: "Impulse Step!"

He vanished, reappeared in front of Agni, grabbed his hair mid-flight:

— "Get back here, you."

Then another Impulse Step, and back beside Kael as if nothing had happened.

---

He wrote protective runes on Kael:

— "Here, gift. Anti-shatter, anti-annihilation, anti-'everything hurts.' That way you won't explode like a chip."

— Kael: "5% left."

— Oris: "Perfect."

---

Oris activated the third form:

⭐ **Third Form: Nexus Anchorfield**

(Anti-Dimensional Anchor Zone)

A space unfolded around them — an infinite cube, stable, cold, immutable.

---

Then the Rune of Inversion:

⭐ **First Inversion: Apex Nullseal**

(Cancellation of powers, skills, regeneration — everything except Oris + Kael)

---

And the ultimate fusion:

⭐ **Prime Seal: Zero-Lock Fortress**

A dome of energy formed around the entire Nexus.

All energy, all power, all flow… canceled.

Except for Oris and Kael.

Agni felt his regeneration… vanish.

— Oris winked:

— "There. Now he can't cheat anymore."

---

**Kael:**

— "…99%…"

Oris stepped back, triggered a barrier:

— "Okay, I'm taking cover. I trust you… but not too much."

---

Kael spread his arms, all the absorbed energy screaming around him:

⭐ **OMEGA BURST: TOTAL RELEASE**

A black‑white flash exploded, swallowing the entire Nexus.

The light pierced even the Zero-Lock Fortress.

The ground split.

Space screamed.

Silence fell.

Chapter 195 – The Void, the Door, and the Blackstar Trauma

The explosion of **Omega Burst: Total Release** had swallowed everything.

Really EVERYTHING.

The Primal Nexus had become a formatted memory card: not a pixel, not a brick… just a luminous void still vibrating with residual energy.

Kae floated in meditation posture, looking grave… or at least as grave as someone who had just erased an entire domain by accident.

Oris snapped his runes to break the barrier that had protected him.

— **BOOM.**

— "Oops, sorry, maybe I put a little too much power…" said Oris, dusting off Kae even though there was literally no dust in the void.

— "…Thanks, I guess," Kae sighed.

Oris grinned.

— "Well done! I think we can consider Agni… how to put it… totally, absolutely, completely vaporized."

He dismissed his Zero‑Lock Fortress, stretched like nothing had happened, then said:

— "Ahhhh that feels good. Well, the portal should close now, let's go—"

He froze, seeing Kae staring very far away, very intensely, very *'oh no it's not over.'*

— "Uh, Kae? Why are you looking at the void like it insulted you?"

Kae pointed.

There, lost in an entirely erased universe, a gigantic door stood perfectly intact.

No scratch.

Not a speck of dust displaced.

Not even ruffled by the explosion.

— "…This is a joke," murmured Oris.

Kae said:

— "Remember what Agni said: 'I won't let you destroy my master's domain.'

That means this door leads somewhere. And probably… to his master."

Oris's eyes widened.

— "So… behind that door… it's worse than Agni?"

Kae:

— "Yup. And that sucks."

Oris frowned, feeling the void around them, and growled:

— "You feel it too, right? The void is trying to dissolve us… like we're soap. Luckily my runes stop it."

*The Effects of the void:

— It erodes all forms of existence.

— It tries to 'decompose' body, energy, thoughts.

— You feel a weird pressure, like the void wants to fold you into origami.

— In short: not fun.)*

Kae, of course, had the most dangerous idea of the century:

— "Could I consider the void… as energy, and absorb it?"

Oris looked at him like a mother watching a child about to lick an electrical socket.

— "I STRONGLY advise against it. If you want to end up as an abstract concept, go ahead, but otherwise… don't touch."

Kae sighed.

— "I really wanted to test it."

Oris:

— "Yeah well, no."

They flew toward the door, Kae like a straight rocket, Oris like *'I need to be elegant or I'll die.'*

Two wing symbols appeared on his back, then two magnificent black wings opened.

Oris posed mid‑air like he was doing a photo shoot.

— "So? Classy, right?"

Kae:

— "Meh. Why don't you just fly normally?"

Oris looked shocked.

— "Since when do you know me to think I do things normally?"

Kae chuckled, but something intrigued him.

He looked at Oris's eye, the one glowing with the inverted rune.

— "By the way… why didn't you use that rune back when we were at the guild?"

Oris looked away.

— "Uh… I'd rather not talk about it."

Kae:

— "Don't tell me someone forced you to deactivate your reflection power?"

Silence.

Oris:

— "…Maybe."

Kae:

— "But HOW? No one can beat you, your power reflects everything!"

Oris exhaled deeply.

— "Exactly… he didn't beat me. He traumatized me."

Kae's jaw dropped.

— "Wait… WAIT… it's not…"

Oris:

— "Yes."

Kae:

— "It's Blackstar?"

Oris held his head.

— "OF COURSE it's him! That lunatic put us all back in our place.

All the S, S+, SS, even some SSS hunters.

That guy is a walking career reset."

Kae:

— "I remember… he taught me respect. With respect punches."

Oris shivered.

— "He taught me fear. A brand‑new, polished respect."

Kae:

— "What did he do to you exactly?"

Oris:

— "No. No no no. I refuse to talk about it.

I still get flashbacks when I see a black star."

Kae burst out laughing mid‑flight.

— "And to think you wanted to flex in front of Agni…"

Oris:

— "I WILL FLEX UNTIL MY DEATH. Blackstar didn't win on that."

They landed before the gigantic runic door.

Dozens of ancient symbols covered its surface, pulsing slowly like a sleeping heart.

— "Wow… these runes are crazy ancient," said Oris.

Kae:

— "Yeah well, decipher them, I don't get any of it."

Oris suddenly adopted the gait of an 8,000‑year‑old archmage, hand on chin, pretending to understand everything, then declared with grave tone:

— "Mhmmm… Yes… Clearly… it says… Very Ancient Thing."

Kae:

— "He will NEVER change 🤣"

Oris kept pacing in circles, hands behind his back, as if the door was taking an exam.

— "I confirm… very very ancient.

Very dangerous.

And very… 'we'll die if we touch it.'"

Kae sighed.

— "I knew you were freestyling from the start."

Oris:

— "Always."
