----------

Dragon Slayer.

A formidable Magic born to combat Dragons, a Magic that gradually transforms a Mage's physique into that of a Dragon.

It was a sharp weapon that protected humanity centuries ago, and also the butcher's knife that led Dragons to their demise.

However, this powerful Magic has a somewhat laughable side effect: motion sickness.

As former rulers of the world, Dragons possessed terrifying physiques that allowed them to easily soar through the sky, delve into the earth, and plunge into the sea without relying on any external force—solely by their own power.

The ingrained pride of a ruler prevented Dragons from ever deigning to use humanity's inferior "transportation."

Yet, Dragon Slayers, who wield the power of Dragons in battle, while gaining this immense strength, were also affected by the Dragons' inherent arrogance, manifesting symptoms of motion sickness.

Dragons don't get motion sickness, but Dragon Slayers do.

What kind of situation is this...? Noah rubbed his temples. Before getting on the train, he felt like he'd forgotten something, and only remembered after getting motion sickness that he was now also a Dragon Slayer.

It's just motion sickness. Noah wasn't like Natsu and Gajeel, who could only endure it. He had plenty of ways to solve his own problems.

So-called motion sickness? Well, as long as he's not on the vehicle, isn't that fine?

His shadow extended, forming a shadow passage connected to the Shadow Kingdom along Noah's body outline, isolating Noah from the train. The dizziness, nausea, and other symptoms of motion sickness instantly receded, and Noah immediately recovered his spirits.

You might think I'm sitting on a train seat, but actually, I'm sitting on a shadow!

Freed from the influence of Dragon Slayer Magic, Noah looked at the two people beside him and said helplessly. "Erza, Mira, can you two not stand so close to me?"

Erza then realized she'd gotten too close to Noah out of concern. She could only cough awkwardly, covering her slight panic.

Mira wasn't as reserved as Erza. She directly wrapped her arm around Noah's. "Noah, you seemed to have motion sickness just now, right? Why're you suddenly fine again?"

"Haha, actually, it's because I learned Dragon Slayer Magic."

As Noah spoke, he inadvertently pushed away Mira's soft hand. It wasn't that Noah disliked being embraced by a beautiful woman—it was Erza's inexplicable gaze that made him a bit overwhelmed.

Mira withdrew her hand unhappily, pouting. "Hmph, if you don't wanna say it, then don't. Who're you trying to fool?"

"Alright, no one believes me even when I tell the truth." Noah spread his hands, and two crimson magical flames immediately ignited.

Watching the flickering flames, Erza's eyes widened. She was too familiar with this power—it was exactly like Natsu's Fire Dragon Slayer Magic.

"Wow! Isn't that Natsu-bro's Magic?"

Sting was full of curiosity. As a dedicated fan, how could he not know Natsu's Magic? "Noah-bro, how'd you learn it?"

"Natsu gave it to me, I guess."

Noah said something that left everyone bewildered, especially Natsu, who himself didn't know how to teach Dragon Slayer Magic to others.

Stared at intently by curious and suspicious gazes, Noah felt nothing. The flames in his hands quickly transformed into spiral iron filings through the power of his Magic.

"Iron Dragon Slayer!"

If it weren't for the unbearable motion sickness, Gajeel would've wanted to grab Noah by the collar right now and ask him how he did it.

Seeing that he'd piqued everyone's interest, Noah nodded in satisfaction and directly changed the subject. "Rogue, Sting, did you two really kill the Dragons who taught you Dragon Slayer Magic?"

He gets people's curiosity up and then doesn't explain—this guy's doing it on purpose, isn't he!

Erza was so annoyed her teeth ached, but the story of slaying Dragons from Sting and Rogue was truly intriguing.

Seeing the topic return to him, Sting's low voice came. "White Dragon Weisslogia, Shadow Dragon Skiadrum—they were the Dragons who raised me and Rogue, and they also taught us Dragon Slayer Magic."

You two also had Dragon Dads?!

Noah struggled to suppress the twitching of his lips. In less than a year, he'd encountered five Dragon Slayers raised by Dragons.

And the thought that these two kids, Rogue and Sting, were most likely also time travelers from four hundred years ago made Noah almost lose his composure.

Sting didn't notice Noah's expression and continued recounting his sad story. "About six years ago, Weisslogia and Skiadrum contracted an incurable disease. Rogue and I..."

At this point, Sting's voice choked up.

Seeing his friend lower his head, Rogue sighed inwardly and continued his words. "Weisslogia and Skiadrum... they didn't wanna suffer from the illness anymore, so they asked Sting and me to end their pain."

A very sad story, but with too many unanswered questions.

Even a Dragon with a terminal illness shouldn't be killable by two human children. Moreover, six years ago, Sting and Rogue were only five or six years old. Even if they knew Dragon Slayer Magic, it wouldn't be enough.

You just don't have that ability, you know?

So Noah highly suspected that the White Dragon and Shadow Dragon hadn't died at all—they'd merely found an excuse to make Sting and Rogue leave them.

"Rogue, do you remember where your foster fathers' bodies are?"

Noah had read in books that Dragon physiques were very strong, and their bodies decomposed very slowly after death. If what Rogue said was true, then the remains of the White Dragon and Shadow Dragon could still be found.

Rogue pressed his hand to his chest. "At their last moments, Weisslogia and Skiadrum refined their hearts into Dragon Lacrima and implanted them into Sting and me... and then their bodies disappeared."

Dragon Lacrima?

That kind of craftsmanship existed over four hundred years ago? Noah had thought it only appeared after the Dragons' demise.

If it was Dragon Lacrima made from a fresh heart six years ago, perhaps...

On his left and right hands, "White" and "Shadow" attribute Dragon Slayer Magic appeared in Noah's hands, instantly plunging into Sting and Rogue's chests.

"Noah! What're you doing?!"

Lucy and the other four children were startled by Noah's actions and rushed forward, trying to pull Noah away, but Erza held them back with an outstretched hand.

Mira also softly advised. "Relax. Look closely—Sting and Rogue are fine."

It was then that everyone noticed that, apart from expressions of shock, their two friends showed no signs of pain whatsoever.

Sting and Rogue were fine, but Noah was not. He'd intended to extract the White Dragon and Shadow Dragon's Dragon Lacrima to confirm they were truly dead.

However, as Noah's hands were about to touch the Dragon Lacrima implanted in the two children, his vision blurred.

Two incredibly powerful magical energies suddenly emerged within the two children's bodies. Noah seemed to see two illusory giant figures forming before him.

One was entirely white like light, the other entirely black like shadow.

Two giant Dragon phantoms abruptly appeared in Noah's line of sight, staring down at him, their immense Dragon eyes filled with warning.

My apologies...

Noah, knowing better, withdrew his hands, and the illusions in his eyes quickly vanished.

But he felt it clearly—the two illusions just now weren't the power from the Dragon Lacrima, but rather the magical power hidden within Sting and Rogue's bodies.

The White Dragon and Shadow Dragon weren't dead at all!

He didn't know what Magic they used, but the two Dragons had managed to hide their massive bodies within their respective foster children.

So then... were Natsu and Gajeel also like this?

Driven by curiosity, the corners of Noah's mouth turned up, and with a mischievous grin, he turned to look at the two unfortunate souls who were immobilized by motion sickness. "Come on, Natsu, Gajeel, lemme check you guys out."

Natsu watched Noah's Dragon Slayer Magic in his hands suddenly transform into "Fire" and "Iron" Magic attributes, and a bad premonition arose in his heart.

"Noah, what're you trying to do with that creepy grin? Don't touch me!"

"Hehe, what firm muscles! Lemme see!"
