What to do nex
Vivian jotted down whatever she could remember on a piece of paper, without realizing she had written everything in Korean. 'knock knock'
Anna knocked on the door, "my lady, it is Anna. I have brought the books you had asked or but... may I ask why you requested books on heir training?" Vivian, though startled, quickly hid the paper among scattered pages on her desk.
Vivian looked up at Anna and nonchalantly spoke, "because i plan to inherit the dukedom of course" Anna dropped the books then scrambles to pick them up again "M'lady... you wish to become the heir of the dukedom?" Vivian sighed "Yes, i do. Now, what of the appointment with fathe- i mean, his grace?" Anna looked up as she put down the books on the desk. "tomorrow afternoon, my lady... but, if i may dare to ask, what is this paper?" Anna asked as she saw the paper with the information of the book that Vivian had written down.
Vivian's eyes widened as she realized Anna had noticed, "oh-well... y-you see... i-it's well... i promise i didn't lose my mind.. well- you see..." as Vivian tried to come up with an explanation, Anna said this, "M'lady, are you alright? Why have you written down meaningless symbols? And why are you stuttering so much? shall i call the physician?" Vivian froze *meaningless symbols?* she thought *wait, right! Anna can't understand Korean!* Vivian sighed with relief, "No, Anna. I am quite alright as you can see, i have no need to be checked by a physician. You may leave now." Anna politely bowed as she exited the room.
"haa.... tomorrow afternoon, huh? Alright then, i guess that doesn't leave me with much time to find out and learn about the dukedom. I need to be prepared, after all, Vivian's father believes Vivian is just an immature girl who has blood ties to him... but I still have a chance, my brother is not yet named heir!" Vivian muttered as she sat down, picking up a book from her desk, before reading she glanced at the piece of paper she had jotted information on, "I need to cancel my engagement with the crown prince... no, i must cancel it. And to prove I don't need an engagement to the crown prince to bring glory to the dukedom, I must prove that I have potential." Vivian thought aloud as she opened the book with new found determination.
