The bedroom door swung open to reveal Maximus, his expression one of mild suspicion. Sonya hurriedly shoved the pink vibrator under her pillow, trying to steady her ragged breathing.
"Sonya, why did it take so long to answer?" Maximus asked, his eyes sweeping the room. He immediately caught a whiff of something—a strange scent... His gaze then landed on a damp spot visible on the bedsheet beneath the comforter.
