Class A, Grade 1
"The truth behind the highly developed class divisions…"
"Personal points are linked to class points…"
"Only students graduating from Class A are eligible for admission to prestigious universities…"
Everyone in Class A was stunned as Kōhei Katsuragi revealed the information on the projection screen.
"Amazing! Did Katsuragi analyze all this by himself?"
Yahiko Totsuka looked up at the tall, bald man on the podium with admiration.
"No," Katsuragi replied calmly.
"This was sent to me from an anonymous account. If you want more information, you need to spend personal points to purchase it."
He held up the student terminal, displaying the details to the class.
"I see… so he's an information dealer?"
Hashimoto Masayoshi leaned back in his chair, hands behind his head, glancing sideways at Sakayanagi Arisu across from him.
"What do you think, Princess?"
"Haha~ Information that can be understood at a glance is trivial."
Sakayanagi Arisu, confident in her plan, pulled out a pre-printed A4 packet from her drawer. It contained several pages on the S-System, almost 90% identical to what Katsuragi had just presented.
"As expected of Sakayanagi-sama!"
Several students instinctively gathered around Arisu, taking sides.
"So, Katsuragi-san, how much of this information did you actually uncover yourself?"
Arisu's gaze sharpened; he was her only serious rival for Class A leadership.
"I'm ashamed to admit, only one or two points so far," Katsuragi said honestly, acknowledging her superior intellect. Then, he shifted tactically:
"If Sakayanagi-san provides more information, I'll hand over the leadership of Class A to you."
"If you give me another two or three days…"
Arisu's voice trailed off as her pale, frail body reminded her of her limitations. Yet it was only the second day of school, and someone had already taken the lead—faster than she had anticipated.
"With all due respect, it's unsafe to place the burden of Class A solely on your own abilities," Katsuragi added smoothly.
Quiet murmurs spread across the room. On one side stood a tall, imposing man; on the other, a delicate white-haired girl. Rationally, many leaned toward supporting Katsuragi. Nearly ten students immediately approached him.
"Besides, the anonymous dealer chose to contact Katsuragi instead of Sakayanagi. This suggests even they recognize him as Class A's representative," Totsuka said provocatively.
Even the neutral students subtly supported Katsuragi.
"Haha~ Looks like I've been underestimated," Arisu said, smiling nonchalantly.
"It's fine. Let Katsuragi-san decide this time."
Katsuragi, feeling the momentum, continued, "I've decided to purchase the information."
In front of everyone, he sent a request to the anonymous account.
"Ding~"
The reply came almost instantly: 1,000,000 personal points.
"Tens, hundreds, thousands… a million!?"
"Why doesn't that guy just go rob it?!"
Everyone in Class A was horrified. Totsuka nearly cursed aloud.
"Sakayanagi, what do you think?" Katsuragi's calm gaze fell on her, ignoring the chaos around them.
"Only a quarter of the class's points? That's far too narrow-minded for the dealer," Arisu said with surprising bluntness, her cute, refined face belying her audacious words.
"So, you find this price acceptable?" Katsuragi asked.
"Exactly," Arisu replied.
His steady, mature voice resonated through the room.
"Everyone's reason for enrolling here is to secure admission to a prestigious university. If this information is accurate, maintaining our position in Class A for the next three years is essential. Compared to life-changing opportunities, these points are negligible."

Ten minutes later, Hikigaya's anonymous account received the full transfer of 1 million points from Class A.
"It only took ten minutes?"
"The level of Class A is higher than expected," Hikigaya noted, his dead eyes deepening.
An hour later, Class B also transferred 1 million points and requested a meeting offline. Hikigaya refused, sending the full intelligence packet and immediately blocking further contact.
Points trading was protected under school rules—fraud and extortion were prohibited.
Two or three hours passed. Class C made no move.
"Indeed, a defective product," Hikigaya muttered.
"The only real competition is between Class A and Class B. Classes C and D exist mostly as negative examples."

Class D, After School
Yosuke Hirata finally revealed the information to Class D and called for a discussion.
"What? Classes are ranked by strength?"
"So Class D is the worst? Are we the worst students?"
"How is this possible! I'm a national-level tennis player!"
Hikigaya squinted, unimpressed. "You said baseball earlier, didn't you?"
"Bang!"
Even Horikita Suzune, normally disinterested in class politics, slammed her hands on the table and stood abruptly.
"First of all, I do not agree with this suspicious information! If classes are divided by ability, I should be in Class A—I excel in both academics and athletics. Just like my brother was placed in Class A when he enrolled."
"I want to know the exact criteria for class divisions!" Her teeth gritted, dissatisfaction clear on her face.
"Sorry… the info costs 1 million personal points to obtain," Hirata said, embarrassed by the staggering figure.
"What? One million?!"
Class D erupted into chaos, each student voicing outrage.
Hikigaya shook his head. He had predicted this reaction. If there were even a slight chance for Class D to succeed, he would not have sold the information to the other three classes.
