As Dean starts to wake up things are hazy. He feels as if he is gliding "Huh, what is this feeling" He thinks to himself. As he slowly turns his head to the right, he can't make it out, but he sees purple hair, he then slowly and groggily turns his head to the left, as he is about to utter something, his head drops down and he passes out. "He passed out again" Vince says. It seems the purple hair was Vince's; his hair is so long that Dean's arm kept tilting his head upward because it was pulling onto it. "We need to find a way to treat his wounds" Chris said as the weight of Dean caused, he and Vince to move slower
Ring, Ring, Ring, Ring
In a room full of screens, telephone calls and people, a hand holding a phone begins to speak. "Ven Percy, your search status has been demanded by the Sven. You have until sunrise before…" Clang. "What a pain, nothing is ever enough for these people" Ven Percy said whilst hitting the wall and looking out the gaping hole.
Tap…Tap…Tap footsteps aggressively step into the shack but slowly fades as they enter the room Ven Percy is located in. "Woah what is that!" she shouted. Hearing this Ven Percy turns around and asks "Who the hell are you". "Oh, sorry Ven sir, my name is Alana, I was sent here to provide back up for your search" Alana yelled. "What is with you youngins and yelling. Did you volunteer for this search or...?" Ven Percy asked with a demanding look on his face. "No Ven sir, I was initially assigned to Ven Jake but umm… no disrespect but he is weird" Alana says under her breath. Ven Percy starts to then walk closer.
Step…Step
"Aah yes – that dog Jake, he see's women as nothing else but meat. And that is why I believe all of you should stay home – all you bring is unwanted feelings to man" Ven Percy slowly states. "So you are weird as well, what have I gotten myself into" Alana thinks to herself. As Ven Percy continues to step closer towards Alana, he grabs what looks like a shotgun, but this is no normal shotgun. "Is this what the EXP sector, has been working on?" Ven Percy asks as he grabs and holds onto it. The shotgun had translucent glass in the middle of it where bullets would be shot from, and in that translucent glass, what looked to be toxic green liquid was floating around in it. As Ven Percy kept inspecting and turning the gun, the toxic liquid reacted, yellow sphere like pebbles began to appear in the toxic liquid. "They really are talented!" Ven Percy muttered with an undetectable slight smirk on his face. "Ven sir may I ask, what happened here?" Alana hesitantly asked. "What happened here is classified information due to your rank and not to mention I don't want a woman meddling in my business." Ven Percy said. "But to hell with it, sunrise is not too far from now" he thought to himself. "Come on let's get out of here and go find them, what happened here could have only been Meraki, I'll explain to you on the way." Ven Percy says. "Also Ven sir, on my briefing about this search, I was told one of our core members was with you and is now missing. What will we do about him?" Alana asked reluctantly, you could feel the hesitation in her voice. "That idiot – He brought this upon himself. He is weak, and from what I sense, you too are even weaker – I can smell the fear on you. Well, wherever he is, he will find his way." Ven Percy said with a tinge of resentment in his tone. "What makes you think I am weak…" Alana thought to herself.
Creek…
"Place him down here Vince" Chris says whilst groaning, Dean seemed to be heavier than expected. "They had found another shack, one around plants that sprawls south of the woods. At this moment in time the sun was peaking its head out – the golden luminance of its rays was not fully up yet. "Vince, I want you to stay here alright… look after him, I will go out and be back with something for us to eat, and something to treat his wounds with." Chris says whilst smiling. "N…No, why do we need to help him. He is on their side… Why?" Vince shouted in a fit of anger. Chris with a smile on his face still, goes down on one knee so he can be eye level with Vince who is on the wooden floor and says
"Because Vince – we are not them. He is under an ant in a bigger scheme. Always remember Vince, we are not them".
"O…Ok Chris, hurry up though" Vince says whilst looking down, as if he felt embarrassed. As Chris steps out, Vince stirs at Deans wound, he begins to hear him mumble something. "Tatia, Tatia, wait for me" he mumbled this same sentence, for what felt like eternity. As Vince continued to look at the wounds he could see not only the dried blood, but he could also see a misty shadowy irregular shape in Deans wound as well. Vince then began to recall the events that happened prior to the current moment.
A shadowy figure with the same mistiness of Deans wound, appeared seconds after he and Chris had jumped out the window of the shack. The creature started to take form into a solid human shape with no face. It went from being an airy, misty shadow with no shape, into a tall, slender, liquid and solid black shadow. With its newfound shape, it pierced a gaping whole into the wall of the shack. As Dean happened to be standing in there in awe, the shadowy creature from its back, sprawled the same element his body is and with whiplash speed – pierced a hole into Deans ribs. Though not deep due to Dean holding his shotgun and it taking majority of the force, because of this it snapped effortlessly and disintegrated into black charcoal like particles. Due to what they were seeing, Vince and Chris stopped in their tracks and ran back, as they got closer to the shack, the creature started to transform back into its misty, airy form and disappeared. The pain was intensely agonizing when the boys got there, after screaming for a few seconds, there Dean was, passed out.
As Vince finished recalling these events, he kept hearing Dean mumbling "Tatia, Tatia, wait for me." He kept mumbling this for a few minutes until… dead silence suddenly. You could hear a pin drop from how silent it was.
Swoosh…Swoosh…Swoosh
Out of nowhere, a big gust of wind started blowing. It was so strong the wooden material of the shack kept creaking.
Swoosh…Swoosh
As the wind keeps getting stronger, Vince could see the same shadowy mist in Dean's wound, floating under the door.
"This wind is getting too strong, and wasn't the sun rising, why is it so dark all of a sudden. I better head back" Chris thinks to himself whilst holding onto purple plants in his hand and a dead rabbit over his shoulder.
Swoosh…Swoosh…Swoosh
"This is crazy, this is like right before we escaped all over again, this is not good" Chris continues to mutter to himself. Whilst he is sprinting, as he inches closer and closer to the shack, he feels an unease.
Bang! As he kicks the door of the shack down his eyes widen. "N…NO, NO, NO" he gradually shouts whilst he drops all he is holding and falls on his knees. As it started to drizzle, a storm quickly followed. And as the rain dripped down his eyes, through his blurry vision, Chris could see a pool of two blood spots on the wooden floor.
"VIIIIIIINCE!" he shouted so loud it echoed through the woods.
—
He has been separated from this boy called Vince – and the pool of blood on the floor only means one thing, which is tearing him apart.
