[Hey, Host Adam, what is your goal?]
Rosy's curious voice echoed softly as Adam wrote down the events of the past few days and the future possibilities he had foreseen. He wasn't using the Quill of Alzuhood this time, just an ordinary pen, though his Visionary Uniqueness let him recall every memory he had almost forgotten.
"I noticed that the plot has been moving a bit too strangely these past few days, and not in a good way. I don't like that," Adam said while continuing to write. "So my goal is to make this story an even more perfect one, something no one has ever seen before."
A small smile formed on his face as he finished scribbling notes about the Battle for the Throne of Finality.
"I also noticed there's another transmigrator," he continued. "A girl named Nava. If my analysis is correct, she doesn't know anything about the plot."
Adam turned to the floating quill at the edge of the table just as it shimmered and shifted into a tiny chibi figure with blonde hair and a blue blindfold.
[Hmm, this form is uncomfortable. Yeah, I noticed her too, Host Adam. That little girl named Nava might actually be a quasi-Herrscher candidate. It's even possible she could replace Chen Tianwu for the Orb of Stars.]
"That's even better," Adam said, his eyes gleaming with interest. "If Nava grows stronger and Owl survives, I can turn him into a Stigmata of the Stars. I'll need him for the final battle."
[Ouch! Yeah, no, I'm making this blindfold transparent.]
Rosy bumped into the wall, rubbing her head before looking back at Adam.
[From what I can see, Host Adam, you want little Owl to weaken the big guy, Kevin, right?]
"Exactly. We both noticed that Kevin is and can be far stronger than the original plot intended him to be." Adam chuckled as he leaned back in his chair, already weaving threads of possibility in his mind.
[Host Adam, do you really think this plan will work?]
Rosy's voice carried a hint of worry. The plan they were discussing was a massive gamble. For all they knew, Kevin might sense Adam tugging at the threads of fate itself.
Adam closed his eyes and imagined a large table in a room that eerily resembled the halls of St. Freya Academy. On that table appeared several dolls — one with bright red hair, one short with white hair, another taller with the same white shade, and a fourth with violet locks.
As Rosy watched, Adam reached out, grasped invisible strings connected to each of the dolls, and smiled.
"Perhaps not," he said calmly. "But you should never underestimate Visionary Uniqueness. Even watered down, it can still manipulate the threads of fate. They may not be as hidden as in Lord of Mysteries, but they're still there. And besides… I can still envision non-living, physical objects, can't I?"
Rosy tilted her head, her now-transparent blindfold revealing her bright blue eyes.
[Yeah, it can still do that. What a broken thing he gave you.]
She crossed her tiny arms and looked off to the side, pretending to pout, her expression a mix of irritation and admiration.
As Adam continued to manipulate the dolls, the atmosphere around him grew heavy with unseen energy. The purple-haired doll suddenly raised its hand, summoning thunder that crackled violently in the air. It swung its blade forward, the lightning surging toward another doll — this one with soft pink hair and bright eyes.
The pink-haired doll reacted quickly, raising her hand as a faint glow surrounded her. The lightning strike slowed midair, its momentum dampened by her limited control over gravity.
Rosy, watching from the side, was completely stunned. To her, the dolls weren't just puppets — they were visions, echoes of real people Adam was threading into fate itself.
Inside Adam's vision, the pink-haired girl shouted desperately.
"Mei! Stop this! Kiana still needs us — she still needs you!"
She dashed forward, grabbing the purple-haired girl's arm and holding her in place. The clash of thunder and gravity faded, leaving only the sound of their heavy breathing.
"Nava… stop your delusions," the purple-haired girl, Mei, replied coldly. Her voice was calm, but sorrow trembled beneath every word. "Kiana will still try to sacrifice herself if I don't do this."
The pink-haired girl's grip tightened, her expression filled with anguish. Adam watched silently, eyes reflecting the storm he had created — a recreation of destiny rewritten by his own hand.
The scene shifted once more.
This time, there were no battles, no lightning, no shouts — only a single doll left behind. Nava's doll sat quietly in the corner of what looked like a ruined school, surrounded by silence and dust. The cracked walls and broken windows told a story of devastation, of a world long past its peace.
"Why? Just why?" Nava sobbed softly, her small hands trembling as she clutched her knees. "We promised to protect each other… so why are they trying to break it?"
Her tears fell onto the cold ground, her voice echoing faintly through the desolate halls. In her mind replayed the moments she had shared with Mei, Kiana, and Bronya — their laughter, their warmth, and Bronya's ever-present deadpan stare that somehow always made them smile.
Why did they have to suffer? Why did they have to face such pain again?
She had thought transmigrating into this world would be a new beginning, a chance to escape the misery of her old life. But instead, it felt like the cycle of suffering had found her again.
Adam watched quietly from outside the vision, his expression unreadable. The sobbing doll reflected perfectly the kind of scene he had envisioned — one that would stir the hearts of those who saw it.
"A perfect story won't be perfect without both suffering and happiness mixed into it," he said softly, glancing at Rosy beside him. A faint smile crossed his face — calm, yet knowing.
He was aware that this particular outcome had only an eighty-percent chance of happening, but that was enough. He had to make the plan work. If he failed, none of them would be prepared for the test Kevin would bring.
'Origin, Flamescion, Truth, Rimestar… they'll be ready for the finale once they pass my trials. They have to be.'
