Gearing up the group each picked their weapon of choice, for Blaze, he picked a ghoul beast plasma riffle, with to military issued knife tuck to his side.
For gale it was, a standard compound bow, a quiver of trick arrows, a dagger hung around his waist,
Frost chose a long spear, with two shot spear hung behind him forming an X shape,
For Tera it was a large war hammer in one hand, and a shield in the other.
Shadow wore a stealth cloak, the hood dropping low, casting shadow unto his face, obscuring his appearance, and weapon unseen, hidden by the cloak, at this moment he had shed all of his lazy aura all that remains is figure of menace.
Blade didn't change much, all he did was put on the synthetic ghoul beast suit.
"alright team move out"
Just when the group all solemn were about to head out a voice broke out.
" were you guys about to leave me behind" a youth fiercely struggling to put on his pant, called out.

they all awkwardly stared at the ground pretending to be counting ants.

"Well....." Tera awkwardly began before she was cut off by Blade.
"enough! Lumen gear up, we leave in five"

Five minutes later lumen was all geared up, the team headed out taking corners to avoid being seen,
When they finally left the camp, what came into focus was the roar of flames, wailing of ghoul beast, and roars of determination of soldiers, willing to give up their life for the cause, this atmosphere made their youthful blood boil with fervor, urging them to jump into the fray.

The sound brought every one into an alert state looking around until, Lumen sheepishly asked a question.
"is anyone else feeling hungry"
The group which had been on an alerted state, finally had it broken by Lumen.
"dang it Lumen" Gale cussed out loudly.
"I can't help it I'm hungry" Lumen defended him self.
"cut it of" blade said.
"here's an energy bar, Lumen" Tera said, throwing an energy bar at Lumen.

After the episode with Lumen, the group continued heading in the direction of the front lines, along the way they nearly got caught several times, only managing to escape the faith of being sent back to base by a thin thread.
" when're we gonna get there, my feet hurts" Lumen whined.
"seriously! dude! we're walked the same distance, and you don't see any body complaining now do you" Gale exclaimed.
"that's cuz y'all cowards, and I'm the only one brave enough to express how he feels" Lumen quipped.
"look at this guy" Blaze spoke amid laughter.
Looking at his team, Blade spoke after a moment of thought,
"lets rest here"
There group moved out cleaning the surrounding, and then making a perimeter.
"I'll take first watch with Blaze, then next would be Tera and Gale, then Frost and Shadow" Blade said.
"what about me" Lumen asked from the side.
"just try not to keep up that would be enough" Blade spoke.
"I feel like you guys don't take me seriously, the viewers are going to think I comic relief if this keeps up" Lumen whined.
"but you're" Gale quipped from the side.
"yeah" Blaze agreed from the side.
"no I'm not the comic relief, I'm more of the handsome cool guy" Lumen said.
"then if you ain't, who is" Gale asked.
"isn't that obvious, of cause its Frost, you know that character in novels, that thought they were being cool and mysterious, not really knowing they are really the comic relief" Lumen spoke boisterously.
"you wanna die" Frost threatened.
When Lumen heard Frost threat he quickly hid behind Tera, not forgetting to add a snaky remark,
"see! this one has a temper ruining his cool guy image, clearly a comic relief"
"you!" Frost called out burning in fury.
"so what kind of character do you think I'm" Gale asked.
"you clearly an extra, the kind that only appears in three pages" Lumen replied.
"you!" Gale called out burning with anger.
"his right, you do look like an extra"
"Cut it, everyone get some rest" and with that scolding from Blade the matter came to a close.

The next day the group continued, heading to the frontlines, when suddenly,

there was a commotion, they were being ambushed by a group of middle grade ghouls, that spotted them, and then laying in wait for an ambush, as soon as the group were within reach they sprung up from their hiding place.
Blaze suddenly seeing a knife springing up on him, surprised took a hurried step backward, swinging the sniper rifle in front of him, and taking quick steps back, took a shot at the elite grade ghoul beast, blowing out its skull, hurriedly heading to the middle of the group.
"everyone! battle formation" Blade called out immediately upon noticing the middle grade ghoul, with the group going into battle formation, forming a circle with Blaze and Gale in the middle, Lumen and shadow, disappearing without a trace, waiting for their moment to strike.

"deploy drones" Blaze spoke, issuing a command to the Ai combat assistant.

With the quick response from the team they where able to effectively eliminate the middle grade ghouls, with Gale and Blaze providing support fire, Shadow and Lumen ripping lives from the shadows, and the front liners Blade, Frost, and Tera left the ghoul beast, sliced, stabbed, and smashed to mince meat.
"now that what I talking about, did you see me out there Blaze, I was fire" Gale said with a wide refresh smile on his lip.
"if you were fire then I can only be a star" Blaze said, also smiling.
" yeah we were awesome" Lumen appeared out of nowhere, looping his arms around Blaze.
"get off me" Blaze said jokingly, removing Lumen arm from his neck.
The group continued their light hearted banter until, suddenly they noticed a shadow looming over them, and when they turned to see what was blotting out the sky, they saw it a giant flying ghoul beast.
