(KRYSTAL'S POV)
I blink. Then blink again.
My brain glitches like it needs a damn reboot.
"Wait, wait, wait—hold on." I swing toward Angelo and give him a full up-and-down look. "He's your brother?"
"Yeah…" Val drags the word out, confused as hell. "Any problem?"
"No." I laugh, except it comes out awkward and way too high-pitched. I scratch the back of my head hoping I don't look like a complete idiot. "No, there's no problem at all."
Of course there's a problem. A big one. A six-foot-something, broad-shouldered, grey-eyed problem I slapped in the face while butt-naked.
Val's brows pull together as he stares at the disaster on the floor.
"Then what's with the mess?" he asks.
"Uh…" I exchange a glance with Angelo, silently pleading for some back up, but he gives me a look that screams, "Well don't look at me."
"So, um… actually—" I start fumbling for words.
"I bumped into her by accident," Angelo blurts out.
"Yeah." I nod way too fast. "That's exactly what happened."
