Abomination has been fully contained.
The roar of the quinjet's engines started again, then quickly vanished into the gloomy sky.
North Brother Island fell into complete silence.
"Boss, are we really going to leave... that thing, here?"
Tandy's voice trembled.
"What else? We've already signed the contract."
He rubbed his somewhat stiff cheeks, his inner emotions far from as calm as they appeared.
The greater the risk, the higher the reward!
This was Abomination!
Even a tiny bit of power extracted from him would be immense!
"Alright, stop standing around."
William regained his composure and said to his two employees:
"Tandy, Tyrone, your work for today is done. Now, go get some fresh air outside, or go play in the Water on the beach."
Tandy and Tyrone exchanged glances, both seeing confusion in the other's eyes.
"Boss, what about you?"
Tyrone asked in a low voice.
"Me?"
William pointed to the giant cage.
"I have to stay and observe the client's sleep status to ensure he can adapt to our five-star service environment as quickly as possible. This is a testament to our company's professionalism."
Although the two teenagers felt something was off,
the thought of getting away from the terrifying monster still made them feel as if they had received a great pardon, and they quickly ran out of the Base.
In the huge circular hall, only William remained.
He moved his comfortable boss chair and placed it outside the observation area of the cage.
While leisurely sipping coffee with his legs crossed, he pulled up Abomination's real-time vital sign monitoring chart.
Time passed minute by minute.
Heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature... all data was as stable as a straight line.
William waited quietly, like the most experienced hunter, waiting for his prey to fall into the trap.
Abomination's sleep was not good; just over an hour had passed.
The green line representing heart rate on the monitoring screen suddenly jumped violently upwards!
Immediately after, brain activity frequency, muscle electrical signals... all data, in an instant, shot up like a Rocket, soaring wildly!
He put down his coffee cup, stood up, and slowly straightened his suit and tie, as if he were about to attend an important business negotiation.
"Boom!!!"
A deafening roar came from inside the cage!
The entire Base trembled violently with the loud noise!
In the center of the cage, the monster that had been lying quietly suddenly opened its eyes!
They were eyes filled with endless brutality and madness!
"Roar—!!!"
He began to struggle wildly.
The shackles on his body, thicker than a human arm, creaked and sparked with dazzling electric arcs as he struggled!
William showed a brilliant smile.
He walked to the observation wall, meeting the gaze of those crazy eyes that almost wanted to devour him.
Abomination saw the tiny human outside the wall.
A fragile human.
This disregard infuriated him more than any weapon.
"I will... tear you to pieces!!"
The man, instead of retreating, took another step forward.
"Mr. Bronski, please calm down."
"Your behavior, according to our service terms, falls under 'violent resistance to deep sleep assistance,' and may cause unnecessary harm to your body."
"It will also incur additional facility maintenance fees, which will be charged to your account."
Abomination's movements paused for an instant.
His brain, muddled by rage, seemed to take Zero point several seconds to process the inexplicable words.
Account?
What account?
What nonsense was this little bug saying?
"Are you... mocking me?"
Abomination's throat let out a low, threatening growl.
"No, I am stating facts."
William's expression was incredibly sincere.
"Emil Blonsky, former Captain of the Royal Marines, Super Soldier Project volunteer, Gamma Ray enhanced experimental subject."
"Your 'impromptu performance' in Harlem caused direct economic losses of hundreds of millions of U.S. dollars, and immeasurable indirect losses."
"And you yourself have transformed from a distinguished elite soldier into a 'high-risk asset' under detention."
With every word William spoke, the madness in Abomination's eyes intensified.
These were the realities he least wanted to face.
They were proof of his defiled honor.
"What do you know!!"
Abomination roared:
"I gained power! Infinite power! That coward... Banner... he doesn't deserve this power at all! I am a born warrior! I am the strongest!"
"Yes, you are strong. There's no doubt about that."
William nodded, actually agreeing.
This unexpected affirmation made Abomination's roar catch in his throat again.
"However,"
William changed the subject, a perfectly appropriate hint of regret on his face.
"Your 'strength' has brought you no benefits. You have gained no honor, no status, and not even freedom."
"You were merely transferred from one battlefield to another, smaller, stronger cage."
"Your power has become a negative asset."
"You have the ability to destroy the world, yet you don't even have the right to decide where you sleep."
Abomination fell silent.
He no longer roared, no longer slammed against the walls, but simply stared at William with those terrifying eyes.
"What do you want to say, little bug?"
"What I want to say is, you need risk management."
William's face once again showed a businessman's smile, and he picked up the pre-prepared tablet, handing it over.
On the screen was a document with a prominent title.
"'Rampage' Personal Accident and Liability Comprehensive Protection Insurance"
"This is our company's flagship product, custom-tailored for high-net-worth, high-risk top clients like yourself."
He pointed to the clauses on the virtual screen, beginning to introduce them one by one.
"First, 'Involuntary Confinement' Allowance. As long as you are held here for one day, the system will automatically accumulate an allowance for you. Although you can't use this money now, what if you get out in the future? You'll need money to buy some fitting clothes, right?"
"Second, 'Combat Damage' Claims. If, without active provocation, you suffer any form of physical or energy attack, for example..."
"If someone uses high-tech weapons against you, causing you injury, our company will provide you with a 'Gamma Energy Refill Pack' or 'Military-Grade Regeneration Hormones' as compensation to help you recover quickly."
"The most important clause,"
William emphasized, his eyes gleaming.
"'Arch-Nemesis Showdown' Special Clause. If you have the opportunity in the future to face off against your 'Designated Arch-Nemesis' again—that is, the other form of Dr. Bruce Banner."
"We can provide you with all intelligence about him, his weaknesses, his whereabouts."
"We will even ensure that your battle takes place in a location where no one will disturb you!"
Abomination's pupils suddenly constricted.
Another fight with Hulk!
This was his only obsession now!
This tiny human could actually promise such a thing?
"You're lying."
Abomination's voice was full of suspicion.
"You're just a jailer guarding me. Where do you get the ability to do all this?"
