The next day, back at the house, Ellie and Maya started getting ready because their due dates were also approaching. While they were resting in their respective rooms, suddenly "ding... dong," the doorbell at their gate rang. Ryan immediately approached Ellie.
"Madam Ellie, there's someone at the front. Please check the screen."
A holographic screen popped up in front of Ellie, showing the gate. Ellie's eyes immediately widened when she saw two people she didn't want to see again, standing in front of her house: her father, Alex, and Charles. It was clear that Charles was carrying a bouquet of flowers in his hand, obviously indicating he had an ulterior motive beyond just visiting. Maya immediately walked into Ellie's room.
"Ellie, your father and Charles are out front," Maya said.
"Yeah, I know. I just saw them," Ellie replied.
"What should we do? Dylan is still at the hospital, and Aaron, Clara, Fiona, and Iris are still at school. It's just the two of us," Maya said.
