Chapter 238 - Chapter 237 Asgard

"Wait, I can tell you some very important news."

Odin called out to Richard.

"You speak first, and I'll consider it."

Richard stopped, intending to gain some information for free.

"Earth is incubating a Universe Celestial..."

"She'll hatch in at most ten-odd years; I know more about it than you do."

Richard rolled his eyes, thinking, what kind of secret was that?

"Then you still dare to develop your power on Earth? Even if you could kill him, there's more than one Universe Celestial. Aren't you afraid they'll come for you?"

Odin said in surprise.

There was still a hint of apprehension in his tone.

Hela stood aside, and a trace of curiosity appeared on her normally ice-cold face.

What kind of enemy could make the high and mighty Odin so wary?

"Come for me? I'll find them sooner or later."

Richard sneered.

Lucifer is on Earth, after all.

"..."

What arrogance, just like him in the past.

Seeing Odin remain silent, Richard said, "If you don't have any other information, I'm leaving."

"If you want to fight the Universe Celestial, Asgard can be your vanguard, a natural cosmic barrier."

"No need. If I really can't win, I can take Earth and run. I won't fight them to the death."

Richard felt no shame about running away; in his opinion, as long as the green hills remain, there will be wood to burn.

"Asgard's warriors are no less than your subordinates; they can be your strongest army."

"No, your warriors have been with you too long; I wouldn't find them easy to use."

"Becoming the God-King of Asgard can grant you immense divine power, and your strength can increase again."

"You don't need to worry about that; I have my own ideas about increasing my power."

"..."

The two went back and forth.

Odin desperately tried to promote his Asgard.

Richard was somewhat curious if Odin could offer a tempting enough bargaining chip to make him take over this mess.

The fate of Ragnarok, while troublesome, was not an issue with the Infinity Stones in hand.

Hela's face was dark beside them.

Being ignored as the first in line to the throne was one thing.

But her coveted God-King position was being so disdained.

However, there was nothing she could do; she couldn't defeat either of these two.

"My treasury contains countless treasures, powerful artifacts, the Odin Force, Rune Magic, and Mimir's Well can also be yours."

Odin revealed his final bargaining chip.

Richard was stunned, almost forgetting that Asgard also had these treasures.

Rune King Thor is a powerful existence even at the Multiversal level.

In the comics, Loki triggered Ragnarok, the Gods of Asgard perished, and Mjolnir was shattered.

To save Asgard and prevent Ragnarok, Thor emulated Odin by plucking out his own eyes, obtaining water from Mimir's Well, and then hanging himself on the World Tree for nine days and nights, ultimately gaining Rune Magic and the Odin Force, becoming Rune King Thor.

"Becoming the God-King of Asgard is acceptable."

Richard said, then pointed at Hela.

"But I don't want to marry Hela."

"Defeat me, and if you win, you directly gain the God-King position; if you lose, you marry Hela and become a son-in-law of Asgard."

"Good, shall we fight here?"

Odin raised the Eternal Spear, and the Bifrost Bridge descended from the sky, and the two vanished.

"FK!"

Hela watched the two disappear, her anger reaching its peak.

She fiercely kicked a nearby boulder, sending it flying a great distance with immense force before it landed with a crash.

What did he mean, "if you lose, you marry Hela"? What did they take her for? Using her as a wager, did they ask for her opinion?

Just then, Thor rushed to the ruins. He looked at the chaotic scene around him, a premonition of dread rising in his heart, and anxiously asked.

"Hela, what did you do to Odin?"

"He's dead."

"Hela, I'm going to kill you."

Hela looked at Thor, who was charging at her, crackling with lightning, and a malicious grin formed on her lips.

---

Frigga, sensing Odin's disappearance, said to the surrounding handmaidens.

"Begin."

"Yes, All-Mother."

The handmaidens responded in unison, and then, mysterious magic power flowed around Frigga and the handmaidens, the light like countless shimmering star fragments, intertwining and converging.

In the blink of an eye, a gigantic light screen slowly emerged above Asgard.

The people of Asgard stopped their tasks, looked up, their eyes fixed on the light screen.

Their eyes were filled with confusion and curiosity, as they whispered and discussed what was about to happen.

"This is the God-King's Battle. Under the witness of the Gods, Demon King Richard, defeat me, and you shall be the new God-King of Asgard."

Odin's majestic voice emanated from the light screen.

All of Asgard fell into a dead silence, everyone's eyes wide, as if frozen by the sudden announcement.

God-King's Battle? Who is the Demon King?

Hela also stopped her beating, plopped down on Thor, looking at the light screen in the sky, feeling the struggle beneath her, and punched him on the head.

"Move again and I'll castrate you."

Thor's body stiffened, and he could only lie still, acting as a bench.

---

Above the United States on Earth.

A light screen also appeared.

"?" Tony.

"?" Venom.

"?" Pamela.

"Father... Odin."

Loki.

Many people on Earth once again learned where the long-missing Demon King had gone.

"Leader."

Tom.

Good thing they acted in advance, otherwise this would have scared away who knows how many 'fish'.

However, it seemed the leader was completely unaware of this light screen, and had been schemed against.

---

In space

Richard looked bewildered at the inexplicable spectacle before him, full of questions. He was about to ask, but Odin interrupted him.

"Die! Demon King, let me show you my true power."

At this moment, the suppressed immense divine power within Odin was unleashed for the first time and only time, without reservation.

Golden light surged outwards from Odin, spreading in all directions. He himself was like a dazzling golden Sun, emitting a chilling radiance.

"Come and fight!"

Odin's roar seemed to traverse the endless Universe.

Richard showed no weakness, his entire body instantly transforming into a streak of light, rushing towards Odin at an extremely high speed.

Seeing this, Odin raised the Eternal Spear, and at the tip of the spear, golden energy surged like boiling lava, and a massive energy Impact shot out from the spear tip towards Richard.

Wherever the Impact passed, space seemed to twist, making a "sizzling" sound.

Richard was hit directly, exploding in a dazzling blaze of Fire in space.

"Oh!"

"God-King, God-King..."

The people of Asgard cheered directly; in their eyes, no one could survive such a powerful attack.
