The bright red poison condensed behind Magellan, forming a towering skeletal giant.
A drop of venom fell from the Poison Giant and landed on the ground, instantly corroding the stone beneath it.
This was the forbidden technique of Magellan, the strongest man in the prison: the Poison Giant Soldier!
Pong!
"My death glare didn't work at all! Victor, be careful!"
The deadly glare attack of the Ivankov was drowned in poison the moment it came into contact with the body of the Poison Giant.
Victor knew that Magellan's Poison Giant Soldier was terrifying. Although his poison immunity could ensure survival, the pain was still undeniable.
It was obvious that the Poison Giant Soldier's venom was far more powerful than that of the Poison Dragon.
Victor planned to use his speed and domineering aura to directly attack Magellan's body.
"Victor, you are the most special man I have ever met, but you underestimate me!"
Magellan seemed to have anticipated Victor's move all along. The timing of the Poison Giant Soldier's forbidden technique proved Victor's importance to him.
Now, Magellan was fighting with his full strength.
Victor used his speed to attack, ready to reinforce his strikes with Armament Haki and iron-hard blocks to knock Magellan away.
But he was careless.
Observation Haki failed to predict Magellan's intentions.
Two giant poisonous hands suddenly appeared in front of Magellan. Victor had no time to dodge and was firmly imprisoned by the colossal hands.
The hands formed a bright red venom cage, wrapping Victor completely and letting him suffer the poison's effects.
"Victor!?"
Ivankov's huge face was filled with terror.
Could Victor survive being poisoned by such a powerful toxin? She had to act!
Poison Giant Soldier!
Magellan didn't give Ivankov any chance. The giant slapped her away with one blow.
Fortunately, Ivankov was strong. Though she was knocked aside, only a drop of venom splashed on her.
Even so, that single drop caused unbearable pain, forcing her to roll on the ground, hands covering her face.
"Ambrio Hyper Hormone!"
To enhance her resistance, Ivankov pierced her own body with her ability. Even then, she couldn't fully neutralize the venom's pain. Her condition remained perilous.
If this was just a drop, how could Victor, entirely encased in the venom prison, possibly survive?!
"Victor…"
Ivankov's voice trembled with despair. In her eyes, he was doomed.
"Because of these toxins, I have to spend more than ten hours a day in the toilet with diarrhea. Victor, although I don't understand why my Poison Dragon didn't work on you, in the face of the Poison Giant Soldier's venom, you'll have no chance to survive. None of you unforgivable criminals will ever escape Impel Down!"
Magellan stared at the bright red venom prison, confident that Victor had no hope of surviving.
Even the Demon King Ivankov, a powerful figure, had barely withstood such a drop of venom. How could Victor possibly endure it?
"Hey, Magellan, if you have diarrhea, just deal with it yourself. Why involve me?"
A faint voice suddenly came from inside the venom cage.
"Um?!"
Magellan froze.
Where did that voice come from? He could feel it emanating from the venom cage!
And it sounded… familiar.
Hadn't Victor already been defeated by the poison?
Impossible. Absolutely impossible.
"Victor!?"
Ivankov's fear turned to excitement. She could feel a sharp sword intent emanating from the venom cage.
Swordsmanship: Continuous Slashing!
Swish! Swish! Swish!
Cracks appeared across the surface of the venom cage. More than a dozen powerful slashes burst out from inside.
The venom cage shattered.
A tall figure shot out of the broken prison and immediately distanced himself from Magellan.
Victor's face was ice-cold. Bright red venom smoked across his body.
Did it hurt? Of course, it did—but he didn't show it.
He held the sinister Second-Generation Kitetsu, tip pointed at Magellan, silent yet radiating supreme coolness.
For the first time, a hint of fear appeared in Magellan's eyes.
In this world, there really were people immune to his poison?
And the slashes Victor had just unleashed were not even as refined as those of Shiryu, the great swordsman.
Shiryu was a great swordsman.
What kind of man was Victor?
He was a monster—one the seas had never seen before.
"Hehe, Victor, you did a great job!"
Ivankov bounced with excitement. Victor had completely won her over. She even felt a strong urge to recruit him into the Revolutionary Army, of which she was a cadre.
Bru bru bru! Bru bru bru!
Ivankov's Den Den Mushi rang. Luffy's voice came through.
"Hehe, Eva, why haven't you and Victor come back yet? Jinbei has already captured the Navy warship. Come on, let's head to Marineford!"
Snap!
The Den Den Mushi hung up.
"Magellan, see you again someday!"
Victor didn't hesitate. Using the Moon Step, he quickly escaped with Ivankov.
"Victor! I will never let you go!"
Magellan roared, but his speed wasn't fast enough to catch them. He could only watch them disappear.
Magellan quickly contacted the naval warships surrounding Impel Down, ordering them to encircle and suppress the fugitives.
As long as the Gate of Justice remained closed, these criminals wouldn't escape.
He would capture Victor and Straw Hat Luffy and lock them in Level 6 of Infinite Hell to endure the cruelest punishment until death.
"Straw Hat! Can your companions catch up? The Navy ships are closing in. If we don't leave now, it'll be too late!"
Outside Impel Down, because Magellan failed to intercept them, Luffy and the others successfully boarded the Navy warship captured by Jinbei, Crocodile, and Mr. 1.
Buggy the Clown and his crew also happened to join later. Buggy was urging the boat to sail.
"Hey, Bucky, if you say another word, I'll throw you overboard!"
Boom! Boom!
Two figures fell from the sky—they were Victor and Ivankov.
"Hehe! Victor, Eva, you're finally back!"
Luffy grinned his signature smile, finally feeling relieved.
"Mr. Victor…"
"Mr. Victor…"
Jinbei and Crocodile immediately noticed the bright red venom still on Victor's body.
This venom… was extremely potent.
Could it be that Victor withstood Magellan's poison head-on and managed to escape?
