Scene 1: The Entity of the Glass Tower
SFX: BWOOOOOM!!!
The ground heaves beneath them — cracks racing up the walls like veins of molten glass.
The ceiling splinters.
SFX: CRRRRSHHHHH!
Out of the collapsing mirror shards, a black fog pours down, condensing into a humanoid silhouette — tall, jagged, and pulsing with a deep red glow in its chest.
Dante (squinting): "That... thing... came from the mirror?"
Raen (pulling her daggers): "No. It is the mirror."
SFX: VRRRRRMMMMMMMM! — The figure's chest cracks open, revealing a glowing crystal heart — the same red crystal that crowns the tower.
Narrator:
From reflection, it was born.
From fear, it was shaped.
SFX: KRRRRAAAAAA! — The entity screeches, the sound distorting the air.
Shards of light burst around them like a thousand knives.
Dante (gritting his teeth): "Guess we're the final test."
Raen (grinning): "Good. I hate leaving work unfinished."
SFX: BOOM! — Dante launches himself forward, katana cutting through the air.
SFX: SWOOOOOOSH! CLANG! — Sparks erupt as his blade meets the creature's arm of obsidian glass.
It counters with a brutal backhand.
SFX: THWACK! CRASH! — Dante is sent crashing through a marble pillar.
Raen (snarling): "Don't you touch him!"
SFX: FWOOSH! — Her daggers ignite with red energy as she darts up the side of a cracked wall, flipping midair.
SFX: SHING! SHING! SHING! — She slashes at the creature's neck, leaving glowing streaks.
The entity retaliates —
SFX: WHHHHHRRRRRR!!! — It emits a pulse wave. The floor ripples like liquid glass.
Raen loses footing —
SFX: THUD! — She hits the ground hard.
Dante reappears behind the creature, blood running from his brow.
Dante: "Hey... ugly…"
SFX: CRACKLE! — His glaive hums with cursed energy.
"Reflection's over."
He stabs forward —
SFX: THOOOOOM! — The glaive pierces the creature's chest, striking the red crystal.
Light erupts.
SFX: KRRRZZZZZZH!! BWOOOOOOOM!!!
The shockwave levels the lobby. Glass rains down in sheets.
Raen shields her face. Dante's silhouette is engulfed in white light.
Narrator:
And like that—
the reflection broke.
Scene 2: The Aftermath — "Still Water"
SFX: Tick... Tick... Tick... — Dripping water echoes through the silence.
The once grand lobby is now rubble.
Smoke curls from shattered lights. The red glow is gone.
Dante sits amid the wreckage, breathing heavily, his glaive buried in the floor beside him.
Raen limps toward him, brushing dust off her jacket.
Raen: "You're lucky that thing didn't turn you into a pancake."
Dante (grinning weakly): "Would've been your fault. You distracted me."
Raen (snorts): "Me? You got launched across the room like a frisbee."
They share a small laugh — tired, but real.
SFX: KSHHHK... BZZZT... — The shattered intercom flickers to life.
A voice — distorted, mechanical.
Voice: "Welcome... to the Glass Tower Initiative... survivors... 2... please remain... for observation."
Raen (frowning): "Observation? What the hell does that mean?"
Dante (serious now): "It means... we were meant to come here."
He walks toward the core chamber — where the crystal once was.
All that remains is a small fragment of red glass, pulsing faintly.
SFX: TUMP... TUMP... TUMP... — It beats like a heart.
Raen: "Dante... don't touch it."
Dante (staring at it): "It's connected to something… bigger. The tower's alive."
He kneels, reaching for it —
SFX: ZZZZT! — A brief surge of static jolts his hand.
His pupils dilate — and for a second, the reflection of a dark throne flashes in his eyes.
Narrator (low tone):
Every mirror holds a truth.
And not all truths want to be seen.
SFX: FWOOSH! — Cut to black.
