Elena's POV
4:52 a.m.
Solaria Manhattan Hotel was still sleeping.
But I was wide awake, sitting alone in my office with my laptop open, my eyes burning and two cups of coffee already gone.
The Aaron wedding binder lay open in front of me. Every page was highlighted, circled, marked and rewritten. I had spent the entire night studying it. If the Aarons sneezed, I needed to know the sound of it. I needed to know what Zenith offered. I needed to know how to beat them. To crown it all, I needed to collect the food I almost served Zenith and make sure I ate it myself.
The board thought I had lost the deal.
My father was certain I could never get it back.
But Grandpa, my best human being, believed in me.
And I was not about to disappoint him.
I kept doing my findings, laying out my plans and not missing a single corner I needed to touch.
