Noah's first day at school was weird to say the least. His sister woke him up and told him that they were going to take him to school. Obviously, this was not by their will. Ada told them to do it, well They were threatened to do it. Noah got up, took a shower and changed into a blue dress shirt with two swords and a shield for a logo, and for pants they were sweatpants. Black sweatpants, usually the school doesn't give uniforms to men, but Noah was an exception because he was the only one with a gift. Then he took a sweater with a hood, tied his hair, put the hoodie on and put a tie on. He looked oddly nice.
His big sister looked at him up and down. "You are quite handsome Noah."
"... I uhm, me?," he said, smiling awkwardly.
"Whatever, hurry, your first class starts in half an hour," she said and started to walk out of Noah's room.
"Wait, where is Ada?"
"Mom? She had to go do something." She smiled with an evil grind.
Noah got into a limousine and looked out the window and for 20 minutes he saw the world. it was silent, only birds sang their songs, dogs barked for at least several seconds. Afterward, the engines of the cars of many people silenced the birds. The dogs stop barking because their owners told them to stop, as the human world wakes up.
Noah looked at Leo and saw that his tie was placed wrong and called him with a wave. He grabbed him by the tie gently and smiled. "There, make sure you do good on your first day in kindergarten," Noah said, smiling.
"Thank you big brother Noah," Noah froze for a second, but he smiled brighter.
"Your welcome, let me know how preschool was when we get home," Noah said and waved him bye at the entrance of the school as he was leaving for his classroom.
Nina was going to say something to Leo but stop herself.
"Noah, lest go, I don't want anyone to see me with you. I'll show you to your class, but don't ask me for a thing in school." Noah looked at her and saw that she was being serious.
"It's whatever I don't need you anyway. I'll find my own classroom by myself," he said, leaving her behind.
"You dirty man," she said before she stormed off.
Noah looked around and looked at many classrooms and saw his name on the board on one of them. "I guess this is the room four hundred and two," he walked in and saw his other two sisters sitting there already he ignored them and walked towards the teacher's desk and smiled. "Um, hello my name is Noah Steelheart stepson of Ada Steelheart. He waited for a few seconds and he looked at his sisters.
The girls were covering their faces like they were embarrassed by something. Then he heard an oddly familiar voice: "Oh my god, he uses the full name. He is so cute," and felt someone grab his cheeks before he could turn around, and felt his feet leaving the ground as he was getting picked off the ground.
"Uh... Hey! Hey! Let go of me, I'm not a toy, you can't pick me up. Ada!" Noah yelled, and the new girls that were pouring into the classroom started to stare at the teacher, hugging this little boy tightly.
The bell rang telling the teachers and students that classes were starting and Ada put down Noah and looked at all the girls sitting down, specifically one that almost looked Noah's age. Maybe she was a bit younger. She was looking out the window. Her hair was a bit bluish like a bue flame.
"This is Noah. He will be joining us for the training course and knighthood, and the crowning of the new queen." Ada said a bit eagerly. "Noah, please let us know your name and one thing you like doing in your free time."
"Oh, well, this is new. Hello, my name is Noah Ironheart. I like re-" Noah stops and a girl yells.
"Why is a man in this class? I thought I had signed up for the knight's course. Why is a man in front of me? My parents pay so much for this, this class is not for everyone," a girl the same age as Noah's new sisters said. Noah's sisters looked at the girl saying these things, they wanted to say something, but they didn't.
"Mrs. I earned a place here," Noah said, showing her his mark.
The girl's eyes open widely, "No, that is a tattoo. There is no way that it is real. A man can't have a mark like that."
Noah smiled: "Well, then I guess so, but what if I'm not telling lies, what if I'm the real deal? What would you say if I could use a gift and beat you in a fight?" Noah had never fought a person before. The punch at the beginning was pure luck. It was weird. It felt natural, it felt easy. Maybe he could do the same in a real fight with a human.
"Well, Noah, this is a combat class, so we can make that happen. Yes, does anyone want to start the new semester with an interesting start?" Ada smiled and everyone nodded. Ada looked at Noah and said, "Well, I was going to show the world what you can do later on, but I guess it is time to make you public, Noah."
Noah looked at her, knowing what she meant, or he didn't, because she took something like a slab made of glass. "Noah, please look at the phone and smile, then say your name and your ability."
Noah awkwardly smiled looking at the phone. "I—uh, my name is Noah Steelheart and my power is blood water." Noah said, "Is that all?" Noah heard Ada behind the phone chuckling.
Noah blushed. "You are so cute Noah." Noah started walking away and looked at the girl and pointed at her. I'll wait for you in the training grounds. Noah started walking away.
One of his sisters smiled,"He is walking the wrong way," she said, and went to get him.
Later, in the arena, the girl that started all of this is sown with a curved sword, an armored plate and shoulder and arms made of metal but no armor on the legs, just normal jeans. Noah came out with a chest plate that fit him well so he could wear it at the bottom of his uniform. His main fighting style was being fast, and he relied on how fast he was, so he didn't need much protection. Noah looked around and was shocked.
He looked around.mabe all the school was there, he looked around. There was more than a single class in the arena. In a way, Ada read Noah's mind and said, "Ladies and ladies, welcome to the beginning of the year here at the Royal Academy. We are live and recording this fight because we believe it will become history. A few weeks ago, we found this boy, such a cute boy in Port Maria. He was in the sand, passed out. The only thing he remembers is that this island he comes from has been attacked by the skin of Kain. But today, ladies and ladies, he is here to show that, finally, a man has received the gift of God, the power of the Lord and made a change in the world. Today we cement Noah as a knight, as a man that can and will fight FOR HIS FEEDOM!... remember kids, no swords and whoever punches the other hard enough to make them pass out wins okay bye by now!"
Everyone was silent, even Noah was shocked because he noticed something.
Noah was shocked for a few seconds. "Oh shit she meant the whole word literally," Noah said as a ring sounded in the coliseum and a punch sent Noah crashing into the wall.
A commentator started sounding tough out the whole coliseum "and the battle had just started with Mrs. Crimsonflame, the 2nd daughter of the Crimsonflame family, hitting Noah, but Noah managed to cover at the last second amazing reflexes for a man I'll give him that Luna."
"Well, of course, Staicy, but he is a man probably the fight is already over. By the way, there is a betting poll look at that. How did that get there? That is crazy... Anyway, the odds are abysmal. Everyone is betting against Noah, isn't that right Luna?"
"That is right lady's with only four votes going towards Noah. That might be Mrs Steelheart because it seems she is the only one that believes in him."
The voice of another boy echoed in the crowd of women. "You got this big bother, Noah, don't lose," the sisters looked at his younger brother, a smile appear in the 3 of them.
"Dust dissipated, and the girl was smiling. I won there is no chance you are even alive after that punch. You are week you are a man after all."
Noah smiled and grabbed a container full of water and took a sip and all of his wounds healed. "I'm starting to think you are sexist, I can feel it in my bones."
"Just go down, a boy will... wait a minute did you just hea-" Noah disappeared and reappeared smiling in front of her and punched her as well, but he timed it perfectly and froze his fist. At the moment of the impact sending her flying, he exhaled and mist came out. His eyes were glowing, the girl got up and saw where she had been hit. There was crimson ice. She coughed up blood and smiled. "This is fun," she said, and her fist turned into crimson flames.
"Oh my god ladies, this is it. The flaming nova is finally on the show. One of the crimson fame family is using their inherited crimson flames as hot as the core of the earth. Their punches can disintegrate icebergs in seconds. What do you think, Stacy?"
Stacy grabs the mic and smashes her free hand on the table." She goes for the swift punches! I believe Noah is a bit faster! She hit his face with a following of punches that connect with Noah's face, but Noah covers his face with red ice tanking the damage. His palm opens and shoots water at her, boiling with the heat to de point of becoming into mist, amassing counter the shots they land, sending Mrs. Crimsonflare to the ground. The match is destroying the coliseum, but who cares when we have two tanks on the stage live steaming to the entire world!!!"
"That is right, Stacy Noah hits an elbow to the cheek of Mrs. Flare. It seems that his ice is getting a bit cold for Noah. He lokes like he is frizzed, when we heard that Noah had the side effect that he couldn't use his ice for too long. Wait Mrs. flare uses her flames, hitting Noah, but Noah looks like he is not avoiding the flames. A perfect hit. Is the match over?..." The crowd stayed silent while fire spread through Noah's body, steam coming out of his pores like a skillet with water boiling.
Water covers his body and extinguishes the fames.
Noah smiles, his shirt and sweater are burnt, the armor plate falls, exposing Noah. "That's it Mrs, I can go all out again." His smile is scary. It looked like he was enjoying this. She is scared she is not fighting a boy he is fighting a monster.
"What a match Stacy. It seems Noah used her flames to warm up and stop his body from literally freezing."
"That is right. He is smart and strong, a true monster in a combat arena Luna."
Jaune launched himself towards her, and she just stood there and forgot to cover. She was scared. Noah's trajectory pointed down and punched her towards the ground, knocking her out when she hit the ground.
"And the winner is Noah Steelheart, the first male Knight."
The crowd stood silent, and they started shouting at the top of their lungs, cheering for Noah.
But the loudest was his little brother and sisters, who somehow forgot they didn't like men. Noah smiled at the one who was obviously cheering him on the loudest. He looked at Ada and Leo.
A few hours later at home, Nina smiled at her phone. "We are filthy rich HAHAHAHA"
Noah smiled, Oh so you four were the ones that betted for me," he said, with Ada placing bandages in his burnt hand. The three sister bush.
Leo was next to Noah hugging him. Noah just had a hand on Leo's head patting him.
"Noah chuckled thanks for believing in me," he said, looking at the girls.
Ada looked at Noah. "Your welcome tiny ice cube."
Noah looked at her and smiled. "It's still not original."
They all laughed. It was a new and old feeling like he belonged to a family again. Was it right to live happy with a new family? Was this the way to live his life? Those thoughts disappeared when he remembered something his mom told him.
"Wherever you go, whatever you do, even if we are not here, we will always watch over you, and we will always love you no matter what you decide to be."
Noah knew what he had to do. "Thanks mom." He said, looking at Ada.
