Argen watched the bullet hit Ferry and saw Martin react. He had taken a clean shot at his enemy. He smirked and handed the sniper rifle to a soldier.
"That was a clean shot, General." Major General Rokhnir, Argen's assistant, complimented Argen.
"He again lost his friend from your hands. Do you really think he is some kind of genius?" Rokhnir asked.
"No, Rokhnir. I am assured that if I were in his place, I would have met the same fate. So, he didn't fail. I changed his fate." He paused and began to look at Martin through his binoculars. His army has launched an attack on Martin and the rest. "And yes…He is a genius. He anticipated my plan in Filken up to the second convoy and the hidden sniper. But I am still shocked that after that fall, he was still alive and took out my arm."
"He used an AMR." Rokhnir chuckled. "If Captain Efnik hadn't seen him, he would have taken out your head."
"Yes…And even here, he wasn't relaxed. He was unaware of my presence, but he moved like he did in Filkin Valley. He is going to be a major problem for us. Moreover, he didn't take the burden of the dead. It has been years since I faced someone like him."
"Then why didn't you kill him now?" Rokhnir asked.
"I like to make my enemy suffer. He is a worthy opponent; I won't let him die easily. I would defeat him in a fair match."
Argen looked at Rokhnir, and then they moved from their position.
Who knows what the devil may do next?
