But just after a single bite…
Rian's hand moved lightly, gently grasping Koneko's small fingers and pulling them slightly closer. Before Koneko could react, Rian leaned in and…
With casual, shameless ease, he bit the tip of the Pocky that Koneko had already bitten, then, without pause, grabbed the rest of the box and devoured it all at once.
Once the box was empty, Rian beamed with exaggerated satisfaction.
"All gone, Kouhai-chan…" Rian said softly, as if casually delivering a weather report. "Tastes delicious."
Koneko could only remain silent for a few moments, staring at her hands that had just held the Pocky box… now completely empty.
Then she slowly looked up at Rian, her expression still neutral, but her gaze… cold as sub-zero.
"That… was my snack," Koneko said in a low tone, as if holding something back.
Rian continued to smile warmly, as though he had just performed a heroic deed worthy of a national award.
"Of course," Rian said softly, his tone filled with deliberately crafted gentleness, "But isn't it beautiful when something sweet is shared with someone equally sweet?"
A crease immediately formed on Koneko's brow. Her gaze remained neutral, yet the atmosphere around her seemed to drop several degrees.
"You… are annoying," Koneko muttered without intonation, but loaded with meaning.
In the next instant, Koneko rose from the sofa, standing in front of Rian, who was still kneeling like a prince who had just proposed… and been rejected.
Before anyone could react, including Issei who had just opened his mouth, Koneko grabbed Rian by the collar of his shirt.
The same grappling technique as before, but now with genuine intensity and pure intent: to knock the handsome man off his throne.
BRAK!!
In a slow-motion, action-movie-like sequence, Rian's body spun through the air before crashing onto the floor with a solid thud.
The throw, as before, was not lethal, of course—still within the limits of normal human strength, just as Koneko intended.
On the other side, Akeno stifled a laugh, her shoulders trembling slightly. "Ufufu~ A fierce kouhai, a narcissistic senpai. Quite an interesting combination."
Rias massaged her temples, as if this kind of scene had already happened too many times in a single day.
Kiba glanced at Rian, still lying on the floor. "He's got guts… I'll give him that." His tone carried a mixture of admiration and pity.
Meanwhile, Issei had stepped back a few meters, wincing, hands raised in front of him.
"That must've hurt… doesn't look like ordinary grappling."
Still sprawled on the floor, Rian maintained a charming smile, gazing up at Koneko who stood above him, her face as expressionless as ever, though the aura of irritation around her was unmistakable.
"Is this… Kouhai-chan? You've thrown the handsome man down twice now."
Rian covered his mouth with one hand, acting as if he were a star in a dramatic scene.
"Goodness… could it be that you like me?" His gaze turned even more dramatic. "If so… this handsomeness is truly… a curse!"
In an instant, the aura surrounding Koneko shifted—dark, dense, like a thin fog of anger enveloping her small frame.
The little girl's face remained expressionless, yet from the furrow of her brows and the sharpness in her eyes, her anger was unmistakable.
Without uttering a single word, she lifted her left foot.
In a calm yet deliberate motion, Koneko pressed down on Rian's face, precise and firm, as if trying to erase the annoyingly handsome visage she deemed far too irritating to exist in this world.
A cracking sound echoed as her foot landed, followed by a fracture in the floor beneath Rian's head.
The room instantly fell into a stunned silence.
"KONEKO!" Rias exclaimed reflexively, her voice rising.
Kiba stepped half forward, his expression tense.
"Oh… his head—did it break?" Issei added, shivering in concern.
Even Akeno, usually composed, froze for a moment. Her smile vanished, and her purple eyes widened slightly in shock.
Meanwhile, Koneko stood frozen. Her face remained emotionless, but her gaze was different now—like she had just realized something.
"…What did I just do…?" the girl murmured softly.
Koneko looked down at her foot, then back at Rian, who was still lying on the floor.
Though her face showed no overt emotion, it was clear: she was genuinely shocked at having used that much force… against someone she assumed was merely human.
Before the atmosphere could descend into full chaos, Rian's head slowly shifted slightly to the side. He looked up at Koneko calmly, as if nothing had happened—despite the brutal attack moments ago.
His face remained friendly. Extremely friendly, like someone who had just received a gift rather than being stomped on with superhuman strength.
Everyone froze, stunned. Not only because Rian appeared completely fine, but because… they couldn't comprehend how someone could remain unscathed after taking such a hit.
If one looked closely, even after an attack of that magnitude… not a single drop of blood was on the floor.
Whether it was because Rian's head was as hard as celestial metal, or due to something else entirely—no one truly understood.
At least… for now.
In a calm voice, Rian said, "Eh, before I explain… could you move your foot, Kouhai-chan?"
"Honestly, from this angle, I can see things one shouldn't… you know, it's impolite. But looking from down here… it seems you like models… blasters?"
"Uwoh!!!" Issei shouted, only to end up getting pinched with a flat expression by Rias. "Ouch, ouch… that hurts!"
Meanwhile, Akeno burst into laughter.
At the same time, Koneko froze for a moment. She remained planted in place before her face flushed slightly—a mix of embarrassment and irritation—and she quickly pulled her foot back.
"…Disgusting," she muttered softly, her expression returning to its usual calm, though her cheeks showed a faint red tint.
Rian slowly sat up, then rose with elegance, as if he had merely stood up from a leisurely park bench rather than recovering from a lethal stomp. He gently brushed off his pants and looked toward Koneko.
"Your name is Koneko, right?" he said with a broad smile. "Nice to meet you. The name of this handsome, kind, modest—yet earlier-stomped—man is Rian Andromeda."
He stood fully upright, patting the back of his pants with casual ease.
Occasionally, Rian glanced at the cracks in the floor with a playful yet oddly sincere tone. "Uwaah… despite your tiny frame… you really do have incredible strength, huh?"
On the other side, the expressions of Rias, Akeno, Kiba, and Issei were all the same—a mix of disbelief and confusion.
Rian gave a small smile, raising one hand as if to explain something perfectly ordinary.
"What Kouhai-chan stepped on earlier wasn't my face, but an infinite series," Rian said nonchalantly.
"The cracks in the floor were just the result of kinetic energy I deliberately directed downward, not into my body."
Rias furrowed her brow. "Infinite series?" she repeated, trying to grasp the term.
"Kinetic energy…?" Akeno murmured, glancing briefly at Rias before returning her gaze to Rian.
Kiba spoke up with a serious tone, "You mean… you dispersed the attack's energy so it wouldn't enter your body?"
Meanwhile, Issei raised his eyebrows, his face full of frustration.
"What… is this? Feels like listening to a physics teacher lecture."
Rian glanced briefly at Issei, then scanned the faces of Akeno, Rias, Kiba, and Koneko, all of whom seemed to be thinking hard.
"At the very least," Rian said calmly, "consider the concept similar to what Hyoudou just mentioned."
He smiled casually. "Are you familiar with Zeno's Paradox? The Achilles and the tortoise theory?"
Rias looked at Akeno with a slightly puzzled expression. "That… is a classical math theory, right?"
"About Achilles never being able to catch up to the tortoise?" Akeno added, frowning.
Kiba nodded slowly. "The distance keeps being divided endlessly…"
"I… don't get it," Issei muttered, thinking hard.
"Exactly." Rian raised his index finger and snapped it through the air. "Precisely. This handsome gentleman calls it… Infinity."
"Essentially," Rian continued, gazing at the ceiling like an eccentric professor explaining something profound, "my Infinity is the convergence of an infinite series."
"Anything that approaches me will slow down, slower and slower, and in theory… will never truly touch me."
Rian looked back at them, now wearing a confident smile. "Because Infinity takes the finite space between two objects…and divides it into an infinite amount of time."
Akeno placed a finger on her chin. "So… you slow down anything that comes near you until it can't reach you?"
"Exactly." Rian pointed at her. "You are very wise, Akeno-chan."
He then added, "You know? In mathematics… no matter how many times you divide a number, the result never becomes zero. It only gets smaller and smaller, beyond the perception of ordinary eyes."
Koneko remained silent, staring at Rian.
Rias simply exhaled, unsure whether to be impressed or exhausted.
Meanwhile, Issei clutched his head. "Ughhh! My brain wasn't built for this! I joined this club to see boobs, not listen to extreme math theory!"
All eyes immediately turned toward Issei.
