"Yes, because of my ability," Johnson said candidly, "I found that the arrow's energy is incredibly vast, at least exceeding all objects on Earth that I know of."
"Is that so?" Prosciutto replied, "Because the arrow's energy is too much greater than its own, it's impossible to use the arrow to recharge."
"However, the ability to absorb Stands is truly powerful," Formaggio reminded, "Alright, we've talked so much, how are you going to help Ghiaccio recharge?"
"Let's fish with Pesci's [Beach Boy]. Just extract the energy from the fish and supplement it to Ghiaccio."
"That's all it takes?" Pesci's eyes widened, somewhat surprised that he could be useful. "I understand."
Pesci suddenly changed his demeanor, moving quickly. A fishing rod suddenly grew from his fingertips. Pesci seemed like a different person. The fishing rod, as if alive, was cast into the sea, not causing much of a ripple, but it had already extended infinitely deep.
Suddenly, the fishing line was taut in an instant, and the rod bent. [Beach Boy] was originally designed to be able to catch anything.
Pesci looked at Prosciutto: "Big Brother, it's a big fish!"
"Pesci, pull it closer to the surface so the pressure won't be too great when I go down," Johnson Joffrey said to Pesci.
Pesci looked at Joffrey's bright red eyes and couldn't help but feel a little timid. Although he outwardly looked like the most ferocious person on the team, he was actually a mama's boy who only ordered milk at high-end restaurants.
Perhaps due to his naturally sensitive nature, he seemed particularly affected by Johnson Joffrey's ability, [Best Villain's Boundless Charm].
This ability is completely passive, and its effects are entirely random.
He guided the hostile Mista in a good direction, but led his companions Prosciutto and Pesci in a bad one.
What the hell is this?
"Pesci," Johnson reached out and placed his hand on Pesci's shoulder, smiling, "Pull the fish up a little so I can go down."
A bead of cold sweat appeared on Pesci's forehead, and he nodded vigorously at Johnson Joffrey.
Then he quickly retracted his Beach Boy ability, and the large fish slowly began to surface.
Johnson Joffrey took off his shirt; the condition of having to touch an object to draw a thread was really annoying.
If I can already touch the object, why not just punch it directly?
Johnson Joffrey leaped, splashing water with a 'thud' as he sank into the sea.
Ghiaccio walked to the edge of the ice, looking at the spot where Johnson had submerged. He was covered in white armor, and through the green glass, he watched Johnson's departure, where not a single ripple appeared.
Johnson suddenly shot out of the water, startling Ghiaccio. Behind Johnson, a thread connected to the fingertip of Reversed Hierophant's melting arm. In Reversed Hierophant's hand, it seemed very pliable and obedient, like a tamed beast.
Originally, he thought the thickness of the thread might be related to the amount of energy. Only when the thread was drawn out could Johnson know whose energy was greater. He could have judged it this way, but it wasn't necessarily accurate.
For example, the 'Arrow' has immense energy, but the drawn thread is only as thick as a finger, indicating that finger-thickness might already be the maximum thickness for a thread.
To give a simple example, Star Platinum's destructive power is only A because the panel only displays A... Judging energy by the thickness of the 'thread' can no longer be applied in practice.
"Ghiaccio," Johnson, his golden hair slicked back by the seawater, floated in the sea. He placed his hand on the ice. It was almost summer, so it wasn't cold: "Touch this." Johnson gestured to the thread he had drawn from the fish.
Ghiaccio squatted down and touched the thread.
"How does it feel?"
"Hmm…" Ghiaccio mused, "No feeling, like touching something ordinary, like rubber?"
Risotto also squatted down, "Johnson, what is the essence of your 'thread'?"
"It's roughly about energy transfer," Johnson explained.
The transfer of energy itself cannot be without loss; any energy transfer process will inevitably incur losses. Lossless energy transfer itself does not exist.
And the 'thread' drawn by Reversed Hierophant itself is not truly existent; it is actually a concept, that is, the lossless transfer of energy and the process by which high energy can absorb low energy.
However, as is well known, lossless energy transfer is as impossible as a perpetual motion machine.
The portion of energy that leaks during transfer becomes disordered energy. This disordered energy will continuously increase as ordered energy continuously transforms into it. It can be understood as entropy increase. Reversed Hierophant's ability to control lossless energy transfer means that there will be no entropy increase while transferring ordered energy.
Reversed Hierophant passed its hand through Ghiaccio's chest, and a drawn thread connected to the fish's 'thread'.
This was Johnson Joffrey's second time using the thread for a good purpose, rather than quickly returning to his body via the thread. The first time was in the sewers, with Mista. But using it on someone else was a first.
At the moment of connection, Ghiaccio's eyes widened slightly.
"What's wrong, Ghiaccio?" Johnson quickly asked.
Ghiaccio savored the feeling, "No, it feels good."
"Indeed," Ghiaccio thought, "I feel energy coursing through my body. Can I go over?"
"Yes, the line can be extended at will in the hands of Reversed Hierophant."
Ghiaccio walked to the other side and instantly thickened the ice.
He smiled, "Excellent, we can build an airport like this! Pesci, keep fishing!"
Johnson also couldn't help but smile. It looked good, but he still had to jump into the sea to find the so-called creatures to replenish energy. It really lacked a sense of grandeur. In other words, his mobility was too poor.
In contrast, Josuke could restore things at will, and Giorno could casually imbue objects with life. His ability was simply troublesome to the extreme.
He could extract energy from objects. The energy extracted from living objects was far greater than that extracted from inanimate objects. Did this mean that in this world, vitality was the highest form of energy?
If he and Giorno could cooperate, they might achieve better results.
But whether Giorno would acknowledge him as a brother was really hard to say, after all, they weren't born of the same mother.
Although Giorno was a kind and gentle person on the surface, he would do anything for his dream, and becoming enemies with a brother he had never met was certainly not a difficult thing for him.
Without any emotional foundation, it was more like items produced in the same factory. This was the relationship between him and Giorno Giovanna, wasn't it?
To get along well with him, instead of bringing up some illusory family ties, it would be better to tell him something practical, such as that they shared a common enemy, Diavolo.

(If you don't understand the explanation of the Requiem part of the ability, it doesn't matter, just know the effect (laughs).)

P.S. I don't really watch gender-bender stories, but I always see the female lead. Sometimes, powerful women are quite interesting.
