As the plane rapidly descended, Illuso threw out his mirror, and a pair of hands reached out from the mirror, pulling all of them into the mirror world.
The world created by the mirror world is connected to the outside through the mirror. Once inside the mirror world, one can move by shifting the mirror. The mirror world is based on the first world reflected when the ability is activated.
The movement of the mirror does not change the mirror world. The mirror world they were in was still the one saved when the ability was first activated, which was the empty airport… Johnson gripped the plane seat to maintain his balance, ignoring the hands reaching out from Illuso's 'mirror man,' and instead, he used all his strength to move next to Zkairo.
Inside the rapidly falling plane, Zkairo stared with wide, disbelieving eyes at Johnson Joffrey, who was reaching out to him… He… he wants to save me? Zkairo's trembling mouth slightly opened, unable to believe Johnson reaching out.
For a moment, it was as if something was pushing him closer to Johnson. His crimson eyes were as calm as a still pond. Zkairo seemed to find a method of self-salvation in his composed face, as if grasping a life-saving straw in the depths of despair.
From his cold, crimson eyes, he saw something called mercy, as if a benevolent pope was gazing at his congregant… The charm emanating from this youth was salvation… "Save…"
Before Zkairo could finish his sentence, a sharp pain shot through his abdomen. He looked down, watching in disbelief as Johnson Joffrey plunged a small knife into his stomach.
Johnson Joffrey expressionlessly cut a hole in his stomach, pulled out a bloody airplane from inside, and said calmly, "Sorry, I need a vehicle."
He watched in despair as Johnson Joffrey was pulled into the mirror world, as a small Stand named 'Baby Face' holding the mirror jumped out of the cabin door… Zkairo looked on in disbelief at these guys who so easily solved problems… Especially Johnson Joffrey, who was clearly just a child, yet why did he give off a feeling that even the Boss might not be able to defeat him?
These guys' abilities are too strong, aren't they? Zkairo, clutching his stomach, slid down the tilting plane. His face was covered in blood… completely losing hope, he died in his sleep.
In the endless descent, Babyface opened its parachute and slowly drifted down onto the sea. It was still a child, being taught by its teacher Melone that under no circumstances should the mirror fall elsewhere.
It was very light and could float on the parachute. It picked up the mirror and scanned around. The outside of the mirror could not see inside. Ghiaccio was the first to pop out of the mirror, freezing the sea into ice the moment he descended.
— — White Album.
Everyone immediately exited the mirror world, because Illuso's mirror world could not be maintained for too long, and having so many people enter and exit was already very difficult.
"Damn it!" Ghiaccio slammed his fist against the thick ice, "That guy actually got one over on us."
Risotto looked around and saw nothing but an endless ocean. Besides the line separating the azure sky and the deep blue sea, there was nothing else here.
Sunlight and ice, sea and blue sky.
Illuso sat on the ice to recover his stamina. The existence of the mirror world consumed a lot of energy.
"The Boss should know our abilities now, at least their effects," Risotto said calmly. "He's trying every possible way to gather Stand Users to stop us."
"This is strange," Melone said, crouching on the ice. "The Boss shouldn't know where we're going."
"But the plane crash has its advantages," Formaggio said. "Now no one will know our whereabouts."
Johnson Joffrey pulled a plane out of his pocket and handed it to Risotto.
"Hey!" Formaggio said excitedly, "You're quite clever! Now we can leave this sea!"
Prosciutto tapped Pesci's head, telling him not to be scared by such a small matter, then turned to look at Johnson Joffrey. In that situation, could this kid really calmly retrieve the plane?
Hmph, as expected, he's not a simple kid.
He wasn't Risotto's blood-related nephew. Before Risotto's cousin married that Japanese woman, he had investigated his parents' identities, but the final result was nothing.
Looking at this guy's golden hair and red eyes, completely different from his mother, one couldn't help but wonder who could have given birth to such a kid.
Ghiaccio fully unleashed White Album's ability, freezing everything he could see into ice.
Illuso tapped the ice and said, "It's not enough, keep going, Ghiaccio."
"If Mr. Pericolo is to be believed," Bucciarati concluded, "they should have crashed by now."
Bucciarati turned the steering wheel, making a turn at a fork in the road, strictly obeying traffic rules.
Bucciarati's Team, five people in total, were squeezed into the not-so-large car.
"Several more Assassination Team members' abilities have been revealed..." Fugo looked at the computer. "But the brave one who went alone to plant the bomb on the plane has completely lost contact."
"Besides Ghiaccio, Melone, Johnson Joffrey from before..."
Fugo frowned, his words changing as they reached his lips. He felt a faint unease. "Hey, Bucciarati."
"What is it, Fugo?" Bucciarati asked, looking at Fugo in the rearview mirror.
"I think... we can't do this," Fugo said, hesitating.
Giorno frowned, looking at Fugo. His goal was to climb higher in the organization until he could control Passione, in essence, to change the mafia. If he could completely defeat the Assassination Team or get the Boss's daughter, he could take another step towards realizing his dream.
"What do you want to say, Fugo?" Abbacchio, in the passenger seat, asked Fugo expressionlessly.
Fugo sighed and said solemnly, "I don't think we can do it, because the Assassination Team is too strong."
"Those guys work together incredibly well, and their abilities are extremely broken. With just us, we're merely stones the Boss is using to stop their wheels."
"Let me put it this way," Fugo analyzed calmly, "We are just like that guy who planted a bomb on the plane, merely dust thrown in to put out a fire." Fugo forcefully closed his laptop, his breathing a little unsteady. "We are very likely to die; we won't live to see the day we become executives."
As soon as Fugo finished speaking, a tense atmosphere filled the car.
"So, Bucciarati," Fugo said, "are we really going to follow the boss's orders and walk to our deaths?"
Regarding the mirror man bug:
This is something many have debated, so I'll explain.
Everyone thinks the mirror man could pull everyone into the mirror world and then transport them via Babyface.
Because the mirror man provides so little information, we don't know what kind of Stand it is, what its abilities and weaknesses are.
From the anime's depiction, it seems feasible, but doing so would remove a lot of the fun. (Boss: What the hell am I even fighting for?)
The famous Stand User Kakyoin once said, 'the mirror world doesn't exist,' but as everyone knows, Araki, the old demon, feeds on settings, and his Stand, Black Mosquito, can change settings at will.
