Chapter 91 - Chapter 90: Just in Time

Seeing this, Boruto couldn't help but chuckle softly. He sat up and gazed intently into Sarada's eyes.

"Sarada, are you jealous?"

Sarada raised an eyebrow slightly and shot back, "Jealous? So what if I am?"

Before he could reply, she pushed Boruto onto the bed and gently pressed her lips against his.

After a long moment, they slowly pulled apart.

Boruto was already used to Sarada's boldness, so he asked casually, "By the way, Sarada, what's the ability of the Mangekyō Sharingan you awakened?"

He recalled the five abilities Sarada had displayed when they fought — back when he took the form of Menma.

Changing Susanoo's form, controlling objects, Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, and that space-time ability she used to leave.

"Four of those came from Krab and Itachi… so Sarada's Mangekyō must have a copying ability," Boruto thought to himself.

"The ability of my Mangekyō Sharingan…"

Sarada murmured softly, activating her eyes as a crimson glow spread across them.

"What beautiful eyes," Boruto praised sincerely.

"Is that so? But they still can't compare to your Tenseigan," Sarada smiled faintly.

"My Mangekyō abilities are Heavenly Spin and The Heavenly Path of Destiny," Sarada explained.

"Heavenly Spin lets me freely alter Susanoo's form and greatly reduce Chakra and ocular power consumption. The Heavenly Path of Destiny allows me to replicate the ocular jutsu of other Mangekyō users."

"So it really is replication. No wonder she could use Plankton's and Itachi's abilities," Boruto realized.

"This Mangekyō is ridiculously overpowered— even crazier than dual Kamui. It might just be the strongest Mangekyō Sharingan ever," he thought in awe.

"In that case, I can probably arrange for her to meet Madara, Shisui, and Fugaku someday…"

Sarada lifted her chin proudly. "How about it? Aren't my Mangekyō abilities amazing?"

"Yes, they're incredible," Boruto replied with a small grin.

"Oh, you're so perfunctory," Sarada pouted playfully.

"I know you're much stronger than me, Boruto," she continued, "but I'll train hard until I can stand beside you one day."

The next day, at a training ground in Konoha.

"Sarada, I'm… a little nervous," Sumire Kakei admitted softly.

Sarada smiled. "What's there to be nervous about, Sumire? Haven't you always liked Boruto?"

Sumire nodded shyly, a blush spreading across her face. "I do like him, it just feels like…"

Before she could finish, her cheeks were already as red as cherry blossoms.

Sarada chuckled. "You're just too cute, Sumire," she said, gently cupping Sumire's face in her hands.

"Sarada…" Sumire's cheeks grew even hotter.

Sarada sighed. "Boruto's getting way too lucky—it's honestly unfair. Sometimes I wish I were a boy!"

Just then, Boruto walked into the training ground—just in time to see Sarada cupping Sumire's face.

"Oh my…"

"I'm sorry, maybe I came at the wrong time," Boruto said awkwardly.

Hearing his voice, Sumire panicked, her cheeks glowing crimson.

Sarada turned around, still holding Sumire's hand with one hand while extending the other toward Boruto.

"No," she said with a mischievous smile. "You came at just the right time."

Boruto sighed inwardly. "Sarada, you're way too good at this. Good thing you're a girl—if you were a guy, I'd seriously be worried."

He shook his head and took her outstretched hand.

Sumire kept her head down, too embarrassed to look Boruto in the eye.

"Boruto, you really need to appreciate her—Sumire's a rare good girl," Sarada teased, winking.

"Sarada, don't say that…" Sumire whispered, voice faint as a mosquito's buzz.

Her shy, gentle demeanor reminded Boruto so much of Hinata.

"Sumire…" Boruto called softly.

She flinched at the sound of his voice, then slowly lifted her head to meet his gaze.

Her face was still flushed as she stammered, "Boruto… I… like… you."

As soon as the words left her lips, she seemed to lose all strength and fell backward. Sarada immediately crouched to support her.

"Sumire, are you alright?" Sarada asked with concern.

"I'm fine… just a little dizzy," Sumire murmured, glancing at Boruto before looking down again.

Clutching the corner of her clothes, she waited nervously for his response.

Boruto thought for a moment, then said simply, "Mm."

The silence that followed was heavy. Disappointment flickered in Sumire's eyes, but it quickly turned into quiet determination.

Sarada looked at Boruto, her expression complicated—clearly expecting more.

"Sumire," Boruto finally said, "I understand your feelings."

He smiled faintly. "Actually, I like you too. But maybe… our feelings can develop slowly."

He reached out a hand toward her.

"Really, Boruto?" Sumire asked, her eyes glistening with tears.

"Mm." Boruto nodded gently.

Meanwhile, in the ancient and mysterious ruins of Kaguya's dimension—

Years had etched deep scars across the weathered stone. The golden glow of sunset poured over the forgotten land, bathing the ruins in a haunting light.

Suddenly, a purplish-black vortex tore open in the air, distorting the space around it like a gateway to another world.

From the rift, a figure leapt out gracefully—Sasuke Uchiha.

Dressed in a flowing black cloak, his gaze was sharp as an eagle's, and his robe rippled gently in the breeze.

He landed lightly, crouched with one hand on his Kusanagi sword, breathing heavily.

That time-space jump had clearly drained him. But his expression remained resolute.

"Time to move on to the next of Kaguya's relics," Sasuke muttered.

Unbeknownst to him, two others were already there—watching.

Tobirama hid in the shadows, eyes fixed on Sasuke. "So, it was space-time travel… no wonder we couldn't find him anywhere in the Ninja World."

Minato, standing beside him, wore a solemn look. "Sasuke, I'm sorry. But to meet Naruto—and my grandchildren—I have no choice but to use your Rinnegan."

Tobirama nodded. "Let's go, Fourth Hokage. Now that we know his location, we can proceed."

The two vanished in a flash.

Moments later, Sasuke appeared at the same spot, scanning the area.

"…Gone?" he murmured.
